What the... I thought those were just weird ass dreams I was having about changing into a wolf. I didn't know it was me actually turning into one! Damn, it also explains why I grew so much that night, too. It was time I sat down. I plopped on the grass in front of Kane. Letting the realization hit me in waves. I was a fucking Lycan!
"Why hasn't anyone in my family told me anything about this?" I whispered more to myself than to him.
"That's something you'd have to discuss with them. But our father was the very first of his kind. And I am excited about meeting him." He said enthusiastically. I still have questions, though.
"What do you mean 'when I was in training?' You're talking about when I went away to the Marines?"
"Yes,I can show you tonight, if you like." I nodded.
"What is this, Marking and Mating that you keep stressing about?" I asked curiously. It seems really important.
"Marking is a bite that leaves a permanent mark on Our Mate so that all other male wolves know that she's claimed and taken by her rightful mate. And Mating is well mating with Our Mate to seal the union between you two, and produce pups. She also has to Mark Us as well." He proclaims confidently, his eyes turned a grayish blue. So I have to bite her and have sex with her, okay..
"Is that why my teeth came out last night?"
"Yes! I was telling you where to Mark her, but you're always fighting me!" He wasn't too happy about that.
"Look, in my defense, I had no clue what the hell was going on. I felt possessed or something like I didn't have complete control over myself."
"You don't have complete control over yourself. I control a substantial part of you," he said simply. I scoffed. You don't control me, I thought. "But don't I?" He asks.
"Don 't you what?" I asked, and he leaned closer to me, his hot breath fanning my face.
"Control You." If he's trying to intimidate me, it ain't working. I stare him down. His enormous eyes narrowed.
"I know all of your thoughts, dreams, emotions, fantasies, and goals. All of it! I can also make you see what I want you to see and do what I want you to do, feel what I want you to feel.. do you get the jist of it now, Manuel?" I don't like the sound of that, not being in complete control of myself.
"We are One! And the sooner we learn to work together, the stronger and more powerful we become! Will you work together with me, Manuel, and stop fighting me?!" He nearly roared at me with enthusiasm.
"I'll think about it and get back to you, OK?" I need to talk to a few people about some things. Hmmm... I wonder?
"How can Keya, Mark us too? Isn't she human?"
"No, she's part werewolf . But there's something sinister about her. Someone has put something on her, something evil. I sense it when she touches us, which is why I growl at her. But I love her because she is our Mate. I will always love her, till the end of the world! And if I must, I'll die for her!" His eyes changed from brown to gray, then blue. Is that what mine does?
"Yes, they do change rapidly, depending on your emotions."
"Wow, ok. But well, that's one thing we completely agree upon. We are crazy for Our Keya!" I proclaimed proudly, happy to at least see eye to eye about something. I felt elated again, like I had just seen her for the first time! Kane was glad, too. I could feel it rolling off of him in waves. Hmm, maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to work together with him. I love the concept of being stronger and more powerful. I heard my doorbell ringing.
"Until tonight, Manuel."

I woke up to My Princess in my arms snoring lightly; I wiped her drool and put on a pair of boxers before going to answer the door. It was Victor, I can tell by his smell. I opened the door. "What's up, Vic!"
He was holding my two chairs. I grab them and put them in my garage. "Nothing much. Are you good? Ya'll never came back to the park."
"I'm great, just getting acquainted with My Baby," I said, looking behind him. I saw the girl from last night in his car.
"Humph, I see you did the same." I chuckled. He turns around and looks at her, chuckling as well.
"Yeah, Yahaira is something else. She might just be the one for me. But I'm happy for you, cuzzo. I know how hard you've been searching for her. Congrats, man." He says, giving me a bro hug.
"Thanks bro, a maybe we can all go out later? I'm taking Keya shopping and to D & B. Ya'll welcome to join us." I've always wanted to do things like this.
"Hell yeah, bet, what time ya'll going? I ain't got nothing planned today but digging out Yahaira, fine ass!"
"Same here with Keya. Let me go wake her up and get dressed. We'll be down soon."
"Okay, I'll be in the car."
"A'ight, bet!" I said, heading upstairs to get ready. On our first date, I'm gonna make sure she has an amazing time!
