Marvel: Infinite Personalities Chapter 67

This name isn't known by everyone in the DC world, but almost every major figure has heard of it—and most people prefer to stay far away from him. That's because whether you're his enemy or his friend, things usually don't end well for you—and that's putting it nicely. He's called "Scumbag Constantine" for a reason: he's a true scumbag through and through! Even though he's considered part of the hero side, his actions are often worse than those of villains. For him, things like morals or being a good person simply don't exist. Drinking, smoking, gambling, sleeping around—that's all child's play to him, just normal stuff. What really makes him infamous is that he has absolutely no limits. Right and wrong don't mean anything to him. He follows his own logic. And that logic often makes no sense to others. For example, when a friend is in trouble, he'll usually step in to help—even if it puts his life at risk. But while solving the problem, if he thinks it's necessary, he'll stab that same friend in the back without hesitation. Even if he fixes the issue, that friend might end up worse off than before—maybe even completely ruined. Because of this, no one wants to get too close to him. Even his friends keep their distance most of the time, because Constantine doesn't care who he screws over—enemy or ally, it doesn't matter to him. And he's burned a lot of people. Even the big names in Heaven and Hell in the DC world have fallen into his traps. Just hearing his name makes them grind their teeth in anger. But for someone so hated—by angels and demons alike—to still be alive and free? There's a reason for that. As a magician, Constantine's status in the DC world is equal to Doctor Strange's in the Marvel universe. Sure, on a normal day, he looks weak—sometimes he even gets beat up by street thugs. In that sense, Doctor Strange is way out of his league. But Constantine has some crazy achievements. Like Archimedes once said: "Give me a lever long enough, and I can move the world." That's Constantine. Give him a little prep time, and it doesn't matter if you're an angel or a demon—he'll find a way to ruin you. (TL/N: More like batman of the Magical World) When it comes to accomplishments, Constantine can definitely stand toe-to-toe with Doctor Strange. That's why, when Raymond saw that one of his bronze character cards had unlocked this guy, his heart nearly skipped a beat. If you judge him by his best feats, Constantine completely outclasses even the silver-tier sub-personalities like Tao Pai Pai and Akainu. But if you go by his everyday strength, even a basic bronze-level sub-personality could squash him. In the end, Constantine is full of contradictions. His personality and his power are both confusing and unpredictable. But one thing is certain—Constantine is Constantine. Whether people love him or hate him, no one can deny how capable he is. If Raymond were to face an enemy that he absolutely couldn't beat right now—someone so powerful that even switching to silver-tier sub-personalities like Tao Pai Pai or Akainu would still get him instantly crushed with a finger—then letting Constantine take the lead might completely change the situation. In the "evenly matched" circle, characters like Captain America or Kakashi wouldn't even qualify to carry his shoes. That's exactly why Raymond couldn't understand why the system placed Constantine in the bronze-tier sub-personality category. If it were up to him, Constantine should at least be ranked gold-tier. "Could it be that the system judges people like him—with very unstable power levels—based on their lowest point?" Raymond thought about it, and that actually seemed to be the only explanation that made sense. Otherwise, with Constantine's capabilities, he had no business being ranked as bronze-tier. "So… did I just get super lucky?" Looking at the new Constantine sub-personality in his profile, Raymond definitely felt more happy than surprised. Sure, he didn't get a silver-tier personality from a bronze card like last time, but Constantine is so unique that normal rankings don't really apply to him. What makes him truly powerful isn't his magic—it's his ability to lie and scheme. After observing for some time, Raymond had realized something: Kuro's intelligence mostly shows in clever little tricks, but when it comes to big-picture strategy, he's seriously lacking. In simple terms, Kuro has no real sense of the bigger plan. He might come up with smart ideas to fix smaller problems—like suggesting to infiltrate the Hellfire Club instead of attacking it—but those small clever ideas have their limits, and often aren't the best choices. Constantine, on the other hand, is the exact opposite of Kuro, and his presence perfectly fills in that missing piece. Still, Raymond had some serious concerns about using Constantine. Just like he wasn't sure if he could fully control the Akainu sub-personality, the same applied to Constantine. If a problem came up and he had to let Constantine take action, Raymond would need to be very sure that none of his close friends or allies would get caught in the mess. One small mistake could lead to disaster. "Great… another loose cannon," Raymond muttered, rubbing his temples in frustration. Not far from the Tri-Wing Building, inside a Thai restaurant… Colonel Stryker was sitting alone in a private room, eating, looking like he was waiting for someone. Soon, a Latin man in a suit and silver-rimmed glasses walked in and casually sat down across from Stryker, pouring himself a glass of wine. His name was Sitwell—a Level 6 agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. But more importantly, he was also a hidden Hydra operative inside the organization. "Had a rough time with Director Fury?" Sitwell asked with a smile, watching Stryker struggle with his food. "You here to mock me?" Stryker put down his fork and knife, glaring coldly at him. "You're too sensitive, Colonel. We're allies, remember?" Sitwell kept smiling. Stryker snorted, clearly still annoyed, but it didn't stop him from pulling out a folder from behind him and tossing it across the table to Sitwell.
