“Okay, we’re here, give me your card.” I heard Gray say, but I’m too dizzy to respond, I just felt his hand getting my clutch, “I’m getting your card, okay? Don’t do anything stupid.” I just nod, stopping myself to chuckle, I don’t even know what’s funny, I can’t control what my body is doing. “Come here.” He gently pulled me inside my room.
The moment I felt the softness of my bed, I closed my eyes, “Ahh, so relaxing. I want to sleep now.”
“Hey, you have to change your clothes and remove your makeup, Eli, hey.” I felt Gray’s hand on my cheek, so I slightly opened my eyes. “Come on, I’ll bring you to the bathroom.”
“I can’t, I feel like everything is dancing,” I chuckled, “Can’t you just do it for me? Come on, you’re not a fifteen-year-old virgin boy.”
“What?! no, do it yourself.”
“Come on, Gray, do it for me, please? I’m sleepy.”
“You really won’t stand up?”
I shrug, still, eyes closed, “Nope.”
“Okay.” Everything became quiet.
For a moment, I thought he already left, but that’s when I was mistaken, he suddenly lifts me up, and in just a second a felt cold water pouring over my head, “Ahhhh!”
“It will help you t sober up.” I heard him laughing, the shower hose changed its direction, and now in front of my face, “W-what the fuck!”
“There, I think you’re sober up, like twenty percent?” I opened my eyes only to see him chuckling, “What? why are you looking me like that? Aren’t you proud of me? I didn’t take advantage of you.” His voice is teasing, fuck it.
“Whatever, go away, fuckard.”

“That was a bad joke.” I can’t stop laughing, while I’m watching Gray drying himself, I did what he did to me earlier, I never knew it will be that fun.
“Whatever, come here, let’s drink,” I said and pulled out eight cans of beer, and mini chicken fajita roll-ups for finger food, I don’t know what kind of beer is this, I just grabbed it and pay it to the counter.
“What the heck? Did you become an alcoholic overnight? I thought you were not much of a drinker. And besides, you’re not fully sober up, how did you manage to buy that?” He grabbed one of the cans, and looked at it, “And what the fuck? This has a nine percent alcohol content. Are you freaking crazy?”
I chuckled, Ana told me that Grayson Sylvan is not this type of guy, but based on what I am seeing right now, he’s more nervous than I am, I should feel anxious when I’m alone with this guy, but it was just funny how he act right now.
“Shut up and just drink with me, sit down.” He just obliges and opened two cans, he’s right, I’m not fully sober, I can still feel dizzy, and my mouth won’t stop being straight to the point, I hate the humorous side of mine.
“So, what’s your problem over there?” I was taken aback when he suddenly asked, I just looked at him and shrug. “Boyfriend?” I shrug again drinking my beer, it’s bitter, I feel like I’m almost drinking dire, it’s so hot when I drink it. “Hmm, fam prob?”
“Nah, self prob.” I chuckled and drank another from my can. “I can’t understand myself anymore, since I was a kid, I have had this attitude, that I don’t know what to do in my life, but after my dad’s death and mom got sick, I promise myself that no matter hard, I’ll take care of them. But I think, my old self kicks in again, the selfish one,” I gulp again, my mouth won’t stop taking.
“I see, that’s when I saw you the other night, right?” I nodded and smirked, “Hmm. That’s pretty cool, though.”
“How about you? What are you doing here?” I don’t know much about him, it’s not that I’m interested, I just want to talk about something far from my life.
“Hmm, nothing much, I just want to enjoy my life, it’s always been tough days for me, Gin showed me this island, and uh,” he looked at me as if trying to think what he should say next, “I’m staying here for a while.”
“Good for you, I came here for work, I need the money for my mom’s operation,” I’m starting to feel dizzy, this is my second can, “I’m ashamed of myself, Ana always helps me with everything, I don’t even know how I will repay her.”
“Jeez, she’s your friend, anyway, I remembered something,” I tilt my head, and lean to the sofa, “You are Marcos’ ex-girlfriend?”
I stopped, unable to move an inch, I tried to act normal, “Well yeah, sort of. Though that was years ago, I already moved on.” Well, that was true, I really loved on, but the scars he left when he chose to cheat on me are still here.
“Well, I don’t know who is the girl you saw the time he cheated on you, but my ex cheated on me for that motherfucker, she chose to do it behind my back, instead of just simply telling me that she doesn’t want me anymore, and this,” he pulled out something from his wallet, “This is an invitation,” he handed me a folded enveloped, its design was already ruined, since he just put it inside his wallet. “They are getting married.”
“Do you still love her?” I asked out of nowhere, I just want to know, he looked like a wrecked boy, lost on something.
“Nope, I mean I already moved on, but.:” I handed him back the invitation, I feel like there’s a huge thing blocking my throat.
“How can they fucking do that? I mean, are we not enough for them to stay and give their loyalty to us? Do their lovers fucked good more than us?”
“I’m a virgin, don’t compare me to your slut ex.” I chuckled, he doesn’t seem to mind my words and just chuckled before opening another can, “Know what, sometimes, I thought about this, like what if those who were cheated on get their revenge by going out with the other party, they both cheated on? I mean, will that affect them?”
“That’s a crazy thought.” He commented, “Here.” He handed me another can, I’m dizzier than earlier, I feel so high, I’m not on drugs, but I feel high like I can even jump from here to the sea below this hotel.
“Yeah.” I just answered, and lean my head.
“But actually, that’s a good idea.” He said, although I feel like everything is dancing, I took a glance at him, creasing my forehead, confused about what he was saying, “One of my friend’s father was staying here, I’ll call him.”
I just ignored his crazy antics, whatever he wants, I want to sleep badly, I’ll call Jane tomorrow for an update, I’m going home the day after tomorrow, I just need to stay calm, so I can think more effie-
“Hey, Eli, let’s go. Come on.” Gray grabbed my arm and waist for support.
“Where are we going? I’m fucking sleepy, let me sleep here, go to your own room.” But he kept on dragging me, “What’s this?” he handed me one of my red dresses, I prepared for tomorrow.
“Wear that, you can’t just go out wearing a robe? Go.” He’s persistent as fuck, so I just did what he asked me to do. What the hell is he thinking?
“You’re not answering me, where are we going?” I asked again, he doesn’t look drunk, between the two of us, I’m the drunk one, and he’s the sober fuckard.
“You want to get your revenge on Marco for cheating on you, right?”
It’s not that I wanted revenge, I never wanted to revenge on those people who hurt me, Karma will go after them what goes around, comes around, I just shrug, but he smirked and started to walk again, dragging my arm in a gentle manner.
“So, how are we going to get our revenge?” I asked him, hoping I will get an answer from him.
“We will get married.”
