I woke up with a heavy feeling, my head is throbbing in so much pain. Fucking hangover. I won’t drink again, I promise.
I tried to move, but I felt the utmost pain down on my p-wait. Why would I even feel pain down there? I immediately looked at my body. There, I realized that I’m naked.
w-what, w-what the f-freaking fuck?!
I roamed my eyes, trying to remember where the hell I was. And I have no freaking idea where I was. This is not my room. This is not my house. I don’t have this kind of luxury.
I’m trying my very best to stand up, even if I’m about to cry with this deep pain. What the hell, I’m not a virgin anymore. I’m only twenty-four, what the heck?
But what caught my attention when something suddenly moved beside me, and tilt my head, to know what was it, and in my horror, I saw a naked man, lying and sleeping beside me, in the very bed that I woke up.
He then opened his eyes, and his ocean-blue eyes welcomed me, I thought he would freak out just like me, but he did not! He yawned and smiled!
“Hi there, wife.” He then hugged me, “Did you sleep well?”
“P-pardon? Wife? What the fuck?” my voice is both shaky and confused.
He raised his left hand, and there, he has a wedding ring, out of reflexes, I looked into mine, and to my horror, a ring resembles to his is on my ring finger. “Yup, we got married last night.”
My body froze, trying to remember what the fuck happen yesterday, that leads me to this situation.
“I’m a virgin, don’t compare me to your slut ex.” I chuckled, he doesn’t seem to mind my words and just chuckled before opening another can, “Know what, sometimes, I thought about this, like what if those who were cheated on get their revenge by going out with the other party, they both cheated on? I mean, will that affect them?”
“That’s a crazy thought.” He commented, “Here.” He handed me another can, I’m dizzier than earlier, I feel so high, I’m not on drugs, but I feel high like I can even jump from here to the sea below this hotel.
“Yeah.” I just answered, and lean my head.
“But actually, that’s a good idea.” He said, although I feel like everything is dancing, I took a glance at him, creasing my forehead, confused about what he was saying, “One of my friend’s father was staying here, I’ll call him.”
I just ignored his crazy antics, whatever he wants, I want to sleep badly, I’ll call Jane tomorrow for an update, I’m going home the day after tomorrow, I just need to stay calm, so I can think more effie-
“Hey, Eli, let’s go. Come on.” Gray grabbed my arm and waist for support.
“Where are we going? I’m fucking sleepy, let me sleep here, go to your own room.” But he kept on dragging me, “What’s this?” he handed me one of my red dresses, which I prepared for tomorrow.
“Wear that, you can’t just go out wearing a robe? Go.” He’s persistent as fuck, so I just did what he asked me to do. What the hell is he thinking?
“You’re not answering me, where are we going?” I asked again, he doesn’t look drunk, between the two of us, I’m the drunk one, and he’s the sober fuckard.
“You want to get your revenge on Marco for cheating on you, right?”
It’s not that I wanted revenge, I never wanted to revenge on those people who hurt me, Karma will go after them what goes around, comes around, I just shrug, but he smirked and started to walk again, dragging my arm in a gentle manner.
“So, how are we going to get our revenge?” I asked him, hoping I will get an answer from him.
“We will get married.”
D-did, did I just married to a stranger? I mean he’s not a complete stranger, he’s my best friend’s friend, but what the fudge?!
“Yup, we got married, but hey, it’s just a silly wedding,” my brows furrowed, “We don’t actually get married, it’s just one silly night, my uncle just agreed, but it’s not an official wedding, so don’t worry.” I sighed in relief, but when I remember what happened last night, I looked at him. “What?”
“Silly games?” I grab the nearest item and throw it at him, “You just took my virginity, you fucker!” I shouted at the top of my lungs, not minding if other people might hear us! “It’s not for you! Fuck you!”
“Hey! Wait! I- wait! Aww! Wait! What the fuck! Aww!”
“You fucker! I hate you! Pervert!” I continued, but I got tired and hopelessly sat while holding the thick blanket that covers my naked body. Tears started to roll from my eyes.
I saw him stand up, wrapped himself in a blanket, and walk toward me, “Look, I’m sorry, okay? We’ll settle this, but first, you have to fix yourself. Go and take a warm bath, I’ll wait for you in the lobby, my uncle will fly before lunch.”
I just nod and did what he said me to do, I was still in a haze.
How could this happen?
How could I let this happen?
I can hear Gavin, taking a shower, and I'm still here, thinking what to do. I looked at my left hand, there was indeed a ring---a wedding ring.
I mean, yes, this is unplanned, and he even got us a ring. This is fucking hilarious.
I grabbed the clothes near the table and didn't take a bath. I hastily wore it and took my wallet and phone. I didn't see him inside the condo. So, I took his cap and storm out of the condo. I almost stumbled, when I saw him walking on the opposite corridor, busy with his phone. I tried not to make a sound when I found the elevator at the end of the hall, I ran.
"Ground floor, please?" I said, in between my breathy tone. The staff looks concerned, but he said no words, and I appreciate that.
I tapped on my phone and saw missed calls from Ana and Jane. I immediately call back Jane.
"Jane? What happen? Sorry, I was out last night, what's--"
"E-Eli. Mom got into a cardiac arrest last night,"
My hands and legs weakened, and my heartbeat doubled.
"What happen? Is she okay?"
"They fail to revive her, we lost her last night,"
