Kayden took Heaven's right hand in his left, with his other hand supporting her waist. He walked her into the castle. The maids and guards were all astonished to see their princess in such a horrible condition.
Imogen was just heading out when she bumped into them walking into the castle.
"What the hell?" She was beyond shocked, it was as if she was looking at a ghost. She almost ran away,
Heaven had been gone for two weeks, and for the past two weeks, Kayden had been trooping in and out of the house, not responding or saying anything to anyone.
"What is it?. Keep walking" Kayden said to Imogen, raising not of his eyebrows at her, but it sounded more like a command.
She rolled her eyes and walked past them, not looking away from Heaven, she couldn't believe that she was still alive. She had been gone for so long and she thought Kayden's sudden change of behavior was his way of showing his anger.
"And this is where you and I would be sleeping" Kayden pointed out his room to Heaven, as they both walked in majestically.
She felt like she had been there before, not once or twice, but many times.
"You have a beautiful room" she smiled at him, a smile so innocent but yet so powerful that it melted Kayden's icy heart.
"It's our room, not mine" he reminded her, where was that even coming from?.
Kayden had never let anyone come into his room without a valid reason, he didn't even have s*x with girls there, not to talk more about sharing his room with a woman. It felt like he was changing, but how long was the change going to last?.

How was he going to explain the whole story to her now?. Was he going to tell her that she agreed to marry him for money?.
He didn't know how he was going to tell her that he never loved her, and he doesn't even have intentions of loving her, or any one as the case maybe.
"Our marriage? Well, it was a conditional marriage so we were never in love" he bluntly said, hoping that the questions in her will disappear, but she was just coming up with more and more questions.
"What do you mean by conditional marriage? What was the condition?" She raised her head and looked him straight in the eyes.
Something she had never dared to do before without any fear, it really hit Kayden differently, knowing that his wife was no longer scared of him.
There was something about the way she stared at him that drew him to her.
"You'll remember soon, I know you will" he gave her a faint smile, and looked away from her.
"How was our wedding night? Did we consummate our marriage?" She looked at him, forcing him to stare back at her.
"No, we didn't. I have not touched you, and I don't intend to" he tried to look away from her. It was really weird this time, as he avoided eye contact with her, and also avoided giving her answers when it was always the other way around.
"Why?. I'm I not attractive?" Her last question came as a shock to him.
He always knew her to be very timid, and hearing those words from her made him feel strange.
He turned to look at her with a shocked expression that got him wondering if she had never looked in a mirror before or if she just liked to ask silly questions.
"You are '' he gave her a simple reply, but there was more to his reply.
If only she knew how it was difficult for him to hold himself back so much, he did everything to restrain himself from diving into her which he had always dreamt of doing.
He went to grab his perfume bottle and suddenly he turned around to see her fully unclad.
Her pointy edges were calling out to him, he clenched his fist and swallowed hard. He tried to look away but his eyes refused to close and his neck refused to turn.
