Zamiel's POV
"You are finally awake. I am glad to see that" I smiled at her, when I noticed that she was struggling to open her eyes.
"Huh" She looked confused at first, and then she looked under the duvet that was covering her complete n*kedness. She blushed, shying away from me, if I didn't know better I would say she was acting as if I just took her v*rginity.
"I thought I had k*lled you by f*cking you too hard. I was about to turn myself in for your m*rder." I smirked, running the top of my finger on her already red cheeks.
"Stop teasing me" she giggled and tried to shy sweat but I ended up k*ssing her. It was as if I was addicted to her lips, I couldn't stop myself even when I wanted to.
"You are very naughty," she chuckled.
"Yes, and so are you" I responded, just before my phone rang. When I saw her name flashing on my screen, I became scared and I wasn't didn't even understand what was wrong with me.
"What wrong Zamiel?" Hannah questioned, noticing the way my mood had suddenly changed.
"It's nothing" I climbed out of bed, taking my phone along with me to the bathroom.
"Heaven, is everything okay?" I spoke when I was sure, I had locked the door so Hannah wouldn't come in.
"I want to know how Kayden is doing?" She answered in a rush.
"Is he fine?. What are the doctors talking about his condition?. Did they tell you when he is going to wake up ?" She kept on asking me questions, over and over without waiting for me to give her any reply.
What was I going to tell her?. If I tell her yes, then she will insist on seeing him, she will make me bring her to him and then what will happen to Imogen. I cannot lose my only sister because of Heaven and Kayden. I have to find a way to bring them together without Imogen knowing that I am involved. But, not just yet, it isn't the right time.
"No, but Kayden's doctor said he is Improving and he is going to regain his consciousness anytime soon" I lied.
"Really?" She was so excited.
"Hmmn" was the only reply I could get myself to give her. I f*cking hate lying.
"I am so happy Zamiel," she shouted over the phone. She was so loud, that I almost dropped my phone as I lost my balance. I have really sensitive ears.
"Yes, I can tell that '' I replied, trying to gain my balance on the ground, still sounding as calm and composed as I could.
"What about you? How are you doing? Do you need more food?, money, clothes, anything you want, just tell me.?" I asked her, and she remained silent for a while.
"I don't need anything, I just wanted to know if it would be okay for me to leave the house and get some fresh air. I mean, I can't keep myself locked up in here forever. I am not a fugitive, I'm I?" She inquired rhetorically.
"Of course you aren't. You can go out,but make sure you take care of yourself. Kayden will k*ll me if anything happens to you" I responded.
"Alright" she said, and hung up.
"Was that your girlfriend?" Hannah inquired, when she saw me coming out of the bathroom.
"Yeah. " I puffed my cheek, letting out a lot of air from my mouth at the same time.
"Huh?" She seemed confused.
"I don't have a girlfriend, at least none that I know of " I chuckled, and got back in bed with her.
"Then, why did you have to take the call in the bathroom?" She frowned, and the way she frowned her face, made me laugh.
"Shhhh!! Baby, you ask too many questions" I placed my index finger on her lips.

In a very familiar restaurant
"Kayden, why exactly did you bring me here again?" Elora asked, she was very confused as to why he insisted on stopping at this particle restaurant before they went home. It didn't look very classy, not that the restaurant was bad, but for someone of his class. It was quite questionable.
"Do you have a problem with it?" He asked her, holding her hand, making her know that it was okay if she wanted them to go home instead, as she shook her head as a no.
She wasn't ready to go back home, and if this restaurant was her escape route then so be it.
"I can order right?" She asked him, scanning through the menu.
"Sure" Kayden waved his hand scanning the restaurant.
He didn't know why he felt like coming here, that was the place he had asked Heaven to marry him, and of course she turned him down.
Meanwhile, Heaven had entered the restaurant few minutes before Kayden
and Elora arrived, she allowed her hair to pour down.
Her hair covered her face so we'll, as she stared at her phone, not looking up even for a minute.
It didn't take quite long before Kayden picked up her scent.
"Heaven" He whispered, but Elora heard him.
"Are you so obsessed with your wife that you can't wait to get home? It's too early to start fantasizing about her don't you think?" Elora inquired, looking at Kayden like a crazy person.
"Eat" he urged her when her food had arrived.
Suddenly, Kayden's breathing became heavy. He could sense and smell Heaven, but before he could turn around to search for her, she had already gotten up from her seat in search of the restroom.
"It can't be my imagination," he thought to himself, refusing to eat as he waited patiently for Elora to finish her food.
A lady had slowly walked past him when he picked up her very familiar scent.
"Wait here," he told Elora, going after the strange lady whose face he couldn't see properly.
She was walking very fast but he managed to catch up with her, not before she could enter the taxi that had been waiting for her.
He gasped in shock when he saw Heaven. There was no time to drool over her features, as he left Elora behind and sped off after her taxi.
