"Can't you wake me up when you see me sleeping?",Khushi asked as soon as Abeer entered his room after attending the call.
"How did you get to know about my presence when you were still sleeping at that time?"Abeer asked, getting surprised.
"Because you put your blanket on me that's why I got to know that you came here after I slept.",Khushi said , working on her files.
"Hmm. But I don't want to disturb you in your sleep as you barely sleep peacefully like you were sleeping before."Abeer mentioned, recalling how cute she was looking at that time.
"That was because of my nightmares that did not let me sleep the whole night."Khushi responded, not meeting his gaze.
Abeer stood silent for some time there and then chose to sit on his bed.
"Khushi."He called her name.
"Hmm.",She hummed without looking at him as she was so engrossed in her files.
"I am sorry."He apologized, his warm breath felt on her smooth skin.
That was when she realized he was kneeling down beside her next to the floor with both his hands holding his ears.
"What are you doing?",Khushi questioned , shocked at his gesture.
"I know I hurt you previously without bidding you goodbye I disappeared from your life like I never existed in the first place.
But trust me, the situations that were in front of me that time did not let me reach you otherwise , I can't think of leaving you in the first place.
I was so desperate to meet you after remaining separate from you for so many days.
I am not saying to forgive me right now. I want to yearn for your forgiveness.
I just wanted to share my feelings with you so that there won't be any more misunderstanding created between us as we have not solved our earlier misunderstanding till now.",Abeer said, staring into her eyes which were wet because of his confession.
"First of all, stand up Sir, it's not looking good at all. You are my boss and I am your employee. We have a professional relationship to maintain.",Khushi reminded him, wiping off her tears.
"I am not your boss here nor are you my employee. It's my house, not your office. Let me remind you in case you forgot.",Abeer replied, getting hurt from her words.
"Then you don't have to apologize. You choose whatever you thought was right for you that time.
You didn't find it important to tell me about your real identity.
I guess, somewhere you were not comfortable to share this news with me.
Maybe you didn't find me worthy enough for that.",Khushi said, turning her head away from him.
The words escaped from her mouth on her own. Maybe she was losing her control on her which she was controlling the moment he stepped into her life again.
Abeer could not control himself after hearing those words she used for herself.
He stood up in anger and went towards his bed straight as he knew how dangerous he would react whenever he lost control in his anger.
And never in his dreams ,he could afford to hurt her realizing his anger on her.
He sat on the bed, fisted his palms, fuming in anger.
When Khushi did not feel Abeer behind her she turned to face him and found him sitting on the bed.
His injury started bleeding as he applied so much pressure on it making it bleed again.
"What the hell?"She ran towards him, concerned to fill in her voice.
"Stay away.",He ordered just when she was about to touch his hand.
"And you really think, I am going to follow your orders ?"Khushi yelled, coming near him to check his wound.
"I said, stay away from me as you have mentioned you are my employee and I am your boss so it's your duty to obey my orders.",Abeer instructed, glaring at her.
He applied more pressure on his palm that the flow of blood started increasing which made Khushi's heartbeat abnormal as she can't witness him in that pain.
"Do hell with your orders. I don't care.",She yelled and took his hand on hers.
She ran towards the first aid box to remove his bandage and apply a fresh one.
She was slowly blowing air on his wound so that he could feel some relief to his pain.
After applying the bandage she glared at him and found him staring back into her eyes.
"From which right you disobey my order, Miss. Khushi ? Didn't you previously mention that we should only maintain a professional relationship between us.
Then why did you take it privately? I mean why did you care for me so much in the first place when you consider me just as a stranger in your life and nothing else.",Abeer asked, making Khushi gasp in disbelief.
She did not realize that indirectly she showed her full rights to him, by scolding him for not taking care of his wound and by disobeying his order and going against them.
"I..me.."She started stuttering as she did not know what to say in her defense.
That was the moment when Abeer smirked, witnessing her condition.
"I got my answer. You are trying to hide my old Khushi behind this new one who pretends to be angry with me.
But it's okay as I like you in every version of yours. I still love you in every shade my love."Abeer confessed, closing the gap between them.
Khushi was blankly looking at him as she did not understand how he understood her so well that he was able to read her silence too.
"Arnan, I just..."Khushi tried to stutter when Abeer interrupted her in between.
"I am sorry Khushi."Abeer apologized again, making her confused this time.
"For what?",Khushi asked as she did not understand the reason behind his apology.
"For breaking my promise and for ruining your lipstick."Abeer smirked and held her close, holding her from her waist to decrease the small gap between them.
Till the time ,Khushi could realize what was happening to her as she was trying to gather his words in her mind to understand the meaning. Abeer sealed her lips with his, making her eyes wide open in shock.
Now she realized why he apologized for the second time. She first tried to resist him away but when failed miserably witnessing how possessively he was holding her in his embrace she stopped protesting.
He bit her lower lips to make his tongue enter inside and smirked when he got successful in his plan.
He was kissing her lips like there was no tomorrow, sucking them slowly and sometimes biting them to tease her.
She lost her control of herself under his touch and felt like her legs became jelly, unable to stand on their own.
She took his support to stand by holding his neck but this gave Abeer another chance to tickle her waist making her unable to stand still to which she started rolling her fingers inside his hair and biting his lips in frustration.
Both started tongue fighting with one another not letting the other to dominate the other one.
They both were so lost in each other's embrace that they did not realize for how long they were busy kissing each other in that position.
Khushi pushed Abeer lightly, when she found herself out of oxygen.
But it seems Abeer was in no mood to leave her now when he tasted how his prey tasted so delicious to his mouth.
He pushed her on himself and they both fell in the bed. Abeer instantly flinched at their position coming on top of her.
He started kissing her neck to which she clutched the bedsheets controlling herself to stop moaning his name.
"I won't let you control your desires now, my love. Either you are going to moan my name or I will make you suffer with my punishment.",Abeer smirked , breaking the kiss, staring at her condition making Khushi shocked at his words.
"Was he really going to punish me for not moaning his name?"Khushi asked herself, her body trembling under his glance.
