Thunderous bullet shots were fired that night and the Spanish mafia was divided into two sects. One that supported Ajax Waylon and others that wished to remain independent. Giovanni's daughter was rescued and the mafia don of five nations was directly in talks with the man after several days.
The red wine glass was swirled with elegance before being taken a sip.
"I am the person who wields power in Spain, why shall I come under your umbrella of security when my people are fully capable?" Giovanni wished to resolve this and extend his hands for an alliance yet the idea of coming under the wings of one mafia emperor was absurd.
"What I am proposing is not an alliance between two people but protection from my side, you are not an omnipotent man since mafia is all you have invested in, rather than that for me who has my terms with governments of various countries and a legal business empire I can assure your and your people's lives...furthermore if any of the clans ever tried to harm you, it will be my responsibility to defeat them.
That did not solved all the problems, three rounds of talks were held, many mafia families were invited. Some whose powers were diminishing while others had threats from all sides, all the while Ajax ensured not to involve people that were in shady businesses like human trafficking.
At last an alliance was formed that shall not come to Valace's support. Now all it came down to the showtime.

Alaina's POV
I was sitting in Ajax's kitchen- all lush with white porcelain and grey- black walls with sleek silver enhancements, all in all it looked royal.
I twirled my cup of coffee, the rosy aroma of it calming my nerves. Years back it was a dark fabel - the story of a kid who murdered his own father and converted his business of hard-earned money to a Mafian empire ruling with an iron fist.
Now graciously standing at the counter with a recipe book in his hand, looking all adorable and confused, eyebrows scrunching together and lips were drawn in a pout
Can he be his father's killer?
"Jax"
"Hmmm .......do you like Chinese or Italian?" he asked with much curiously.
"I like both, but a pizza would be nice for now."
"Alright ,pizza it is then."
I shook my head and a smile fought it's way to my lips when I saw him closing the cookbook and dialing Pizza Hut but soon my brain brought me back to the reality.
"Jax....can we talk?" He eyes met mine and it became crystal clear that I was talking in all seriousness so he took a chair in front of me.
"What do wanted to talk about?"
"Look, if I am at your side I should know details about our plan, the past- your and mine should be clear to one another" his body tensed.
"Ajax....what happened to your father?" his body became rigid and stiff, the warm expression on his face was long gone replaced with chilling rage.
"Drop this topic Alaina." he replied with gritted teeth and with so much hostility that I flinched.
"Look.....I will tell you soon." I bobbed my head.
"You wanted to take revenge from Valace by hurting me.......what now?"his eyes contained sorrow for one second ,they ignited the other.
"Revenge or not, I was not going to hurt you but now as fate plays cards in my favour.........Cally-"
"You are not going to touch her" I replied calmly but my temper was spiking.
"I will do what is necessary" his tone was void of any emotions.
"Your 'necessary' dosen't involves her!"my tone of voice matched his as I stood up walking away from him but as I reached the kitchen door I was slammed against the nearest wall, a gasp drawing out of me, his body covered mine- every ridge and groove melting in his muscular one.
"It's about my family and you don't have any say in that matter" it took a second to register his words due to our close proximity. His eyes were fixed on mine, a centimeter of distance between our lips.
"Ajax, If you touch my cousin, it becomes MY family matter and I am not backing down."
"You are too stubborn!"
"I am stubborn because you cannot govern me and bend me according to your will?"
He stepped back from me and I suddenly started feeling cold, now that his warmth was gone.
"No because you don't get that she hates you and she would not leave any chance to hurt you".
"It's my right to defend myself not bring harm to her. I can throw her out of the family but I wont kill her." Our fury matched like waves in ocean.
He observed me for what it seemed like hours which infact were only few seconds, his eyes filled with warmth surprising me.
"The Storm Princess is dangerously loyal isn't she? ......I will tell you about my father"
My eyes widened when he mentioned it... Was he testing me? Anger surged through me, haven't I done enough to gain his trust?
"Were you testing me to see if I am trustworthy or not?"
"No I was proving my uncle's suspicions wrong" now that he said that, it dawned on me that indeed Julian asked him to talk to him in soltitude.
"Okay now I understand......tell me about your past"

A little girl was sleeping in the farthest corner of a Mercedes, a Brazilian businessman sitting beside her. Seeing dried tears on her face he pulled out a long sigh.
His palm patted her head softly, her eyes fluttered open from the contact, she took her time in observing the surrounding of the moving vehicle. A hand came in front of her making her flinch.
But instead of bringing harm, that hand held a wrapped strawberry cake. Her eyes moved towards the other person who gave her a genuine smile, the one which she returned with her own.
Taking the cake her big brown eyes went starry as she took a bite.
"Thank you so much, it's delicious" she replied shyly.
"You like it?" She bobbed her head furiously to which he chuckled.
"My son also loves it"
"C-can I meet him?"
"Sure, you can do sweetheart but right now you want to go back to your uncle, right?" He asked softly to which she nodded happily.
"I don't like those big meanies in black, b-but I like you, you are just like my dad"
"Sir, we are here" the driver announced as a bodyguard in black opened the car door. The girl clutched on to the arms of her new friend.
"My uncle's mansion!"
"Let's go darling, I wanted to have some talk with him, want to accompany me" she held his hand in reply.
"Hey I forgot to tell you my name-I am Alaina Storm, and you?"
"Greetings love, I am Leonard Ace Waylon"
