The sky sees bright with blue that stretches out like an ocean. The white clouds that clumped together in various shapes ambled in the wind that blew them. Looks soothing and entertaining too. A new day came again, the singing of seagulls became Ruby music in the morning. She smiled broadly with her bright eyes. She looked so happy that she was humming while tidying her dresses. She took off her patient’s fits and changed into a school uniform.

In class, Alex sits in his chair with the uninspired face he has been showing in recent times. With his blank gaze he glanced at the empty chair next to him then turned his gaze to the window and sighed. He felt worthless because the person sitting beside him had not attended class for a long time.
His days were flat and seeing the leaves swaying on the acacia tree from behind the window became a routine he consistently did without Alex realizing it. For several days his life seemed boring while she ever saw how the surrounding people enjoyed their day. Drake looks so happy spending his time with Stellar by his side.
“Alex.” A very familiar sweet voice calling out his name made Alex’s heart beat quick.
His heart was beating very fast just because of a call. There is only one person who has such a beautiful voice, a voice that can make his heart flutter. Trying to guess made Alex very excited, it painted even a big smile on his face and as soon as he turned his gaze, then seeing Ruby standing in front of the classroom door wearing a school uniform made Alex very happy. And with reflex, he stood up.

All eyes were on the two of them, but neither Ruby nor Alex paid much attention to the annoying stares around them. Ruby, who was filled with happiness, continued to hug Alex while saying that she was delighted to be back in school with Alex.

Alex also shows his caring side like a reliable man. He took Ruby’s bag and put it on the table, pulled out a chair so Ruby could sit beside him. Alex smiled and not a second left with the smile fading on his face. He showed very happy even though he just looked at Ruby’s face who was sitting next to him and talked eventually.
Ruby is a talkative person. That’s why she returned to school told how boring the days she passed while in the hospital. She mentioned him all the details and Alex will listen to all of it without feeling uncomfortable at all. She continued to listen to Ruby with a faint smile.
Maybe because Alex has fallen in love with Ruby. Everything she does always makes him happy, indeed if only her presence or listening to her soft voice is talking. Alex loves all, indeed the air he breathes when he is with Ruby feels so sweet that his entire world is filled with sweet scents.
Time flies so fast, like a gust of wind. The ringing bell boomed all over the school. One by one they left the classroom and filled the canteen. Meanwhile, Ruby was sitting at one table waiting for Alex, who was ordering food for them while glancing left and right watching the busy people around her. It didn’t take long for Alex to come with two burgers and two sodas on a tray. He put it on the table and sat next to Ruby.
