Vincenzo walked into the room Martina and Caterina was locked. He found them still seated where they had left them.
“You should clean up.”
Martina arched her brows and shot him a glowering look.
Who does he think he is?
“It’s my body, I choose whatever I want to do with it.”
Vincenzo heaved a sigh and shook his head. He was so tired of her stubbornness.
“You don’t choose whatever you want with your body when you have signed a contract with Roberto, he owns your body.”
Martina went absent immediately. Her mind wandered off to the papers Alberto had given her which included the women he had been with, and how he f**ked them without mercy.
Words found their way into Martina’s mouth as she spat them out.
“Why do you want me to clean up?”
She prayed inside of her that it wasn't what she was thinking.
“You will get to know, but I need you to clean up right now. All you need is right there in the bathroom, some lady's clothes are in the closet but I don’t think you have to wear them… He could rip them apart.”
Martina's eyes bug out as Vincenzo ranted in front of her. She got up and approached him with a dark face.
“What are you talking about Vincenzo?!” She smacked and Vincenzo raised his hands in the air.
“You are free to question him when you see him, I’m trying to keep it cool with you as the gentleman I am. I’d advise you to go into the bathroom and do the needful before you are rubbish.”
It dawned on Martina what she had gotten herself into. He was going to sleep with her. Vincenzo walked to the door, he was about to head out.
Martina rushed to him and held his hand making him halt. He looked at her hand and then at her face. He could see fear written all over her.
“You can’t let him do this to me! He can do anything to me but not sleep with me! I can’t sleep with him!”
Martina cried and Vincenzo looked at her with pity.
“I don’t think you have a choice here, it’s either you sleep with him or you die.”
“Then I die!”
Martina was determined, she would never let someone like Roberto take away her pride. She never gave it to her ex-fiancee, and now Roberto wants it?
“Are you out of your senses? Do you rather die than have sex? Can't you just have fun while it lasts and gets out of there thereafter? It can’t be up to an hour.”
“She can’t.”
Caterina butted in and they both looked at her.
“Why? Is she scared of a pe**s?”
“She has never done it before, not even with her ex-fiancee. They were together for three years and she never allowed him. She wouldn’t do it.”
Vincenzo was shocked to hear Caterina’s explanation. He couldn’t believe Martina was a virgin with how beautiful and curvy she was.
“You are a virgin.”
Martina bent her head and walked back to the bed in sadness. Still, in her drenched clothes, she sat on the bed. She was so sad.
“Help me Vincenzo, I know you have human emotions in you. I can’t let him do this to me, I’d be traumatized. I’d die.”
Martina was downcast, tears rolled down her eyes freely. It was a nightmare.
“This could cost me my life.”
“No, it won’t cost you your life. You have always stepped on his toes but he has never pulled his gun at you.” Caterina uttered and Martina nodded in consent.
“Exactly. You can help me, please help me.”
“You don’t know anything about that you two! You have been in his custody for just two days and you are acting like you know everything.”
Vincenzo responded and poked the air as he did.
“Please! Just help me.”
Vincenzo heaved a sigh and threw his head backward in thoughts. He contemplated on whether he would help her or not.
“But do you expect me to do? Go and tell him that you don’t want him to f**k you?”
Martina shook her head and walked up to him. She held his hand and Vincenzo creased his brows.
“You can’t tell him that. You can tell him I lost consciousness again, that I fell when I was in the bathroom.” Vincenzo scoffed at her idea, it sounded stupid and valid at the same time.
“And if he comes to check you out himself? And pours water on you again?”
“She will pretend like she isn't affected by the water.” Caterina cut in again and they both looked at her. She sounded so weak, it was like she was going to faint soon.
“Caterina are you okay?”
Martina rushed to her and held her in her hand.
“Caterina stay with me.”
Vincenzo, after thinking about it, rushed to where Caterina was laid and lifted her in a bridal manner. He laid her on the bed and covered her with the bedspread.
“She has a fever.”
Martina placed her hand on Caterina’s head and she felt she was hitting up.
“Vincenzo I can’t leave her to herself, she needs me. I need to mop her body and watch her body temperature. Please help me, I can’t be with him tonight.”
Martina shed more tears as she looked at Vincenzo. The pity he felt became overwhelming and he nodded.
“We’ll stick to your plan then. I’d tell him you fell back when you tried standing up, you should lay on the floor anytime you hear me cough.”
“Also, pour some water on your head again. I need a good backup for my story.”
Vincenzo walked out of the room after warning Martina. He headed for Roberto’s room.
As he drew closer to the room, his heart began to beat very fast.
I pray these ladies won’t be the end of me.
He got to the front of Roberto’s room and exhaled loudly. The guards stared at him but he ignored them and knocked on the door.
“Boss.”
“Is she ready?” Vincenzo heard Roberto’s cold voice.
“Sir she collapsed again, I don’t think she is well. Caterina has a fever, and Martina won’t stop going unconscious. They are very weird Mr. Roberto.”
Vincenzo waited for Roberto’s response but he got none. He then proceeded to speak,
“Sir, should I get you another lady for tonight?”
“No! Get a doctor as soon as possible!” Vincenzo’s heart dropped to his stomach.
