Stuart woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. He cursed under his breath as his head throbbed with a slight movement of his body. Rolling over the white bedsheets of his white round bed he found the phone beneath the pillow. After drinking so much wine he had staggered to his room to find Riley's picture but his staggering body didn't make it to the wall beside his bed and he was knocked unconscious. Groaning, he clicked on the answer button and yelled.
"What the fuck do you want disturbing me so early in the morning!"
The man on the other end who was Dressed in a white shirt and blue pants and sitting on his desk was stunned by Stuart's response. His eyes took a gape at the wall clock 'Early? It's 10 in the morning! Moreover Didn't he tell him the details of the man as early as possible?'
The Man exhales, rotating the paperweight on the table. Even though he knew he wasn't wrong to call him, he still apologized. After all, Stuart was the boss.
"Sorry to disturb you, Sir. But this matter is important. This is about the investigation of a Man you named Mendicant."
The sleep left Stuart's eyes and he immediately sat down, his body posture turning attentive.
"It's fine. What did you find?"
The man smiled, adjusting the round glasses on his eyes.
"Thank you, sir. Mr. Mendicant is faking the public image of a beggar, in reality, He is a billionaire."
His hands were almost numbed with cold as if somebody had thrown ice water on him. It wasn't good news at all. It was a bad one. But why would he pretend to be a beggar? If he is a billionaire? Why? The Question swarmed in his mind that was drowned in headache.
Hearing no answer from Stuart, The Man decided to speak again.
"I will bring you the file of the aspects I have found about him."
Rubbing his temples, Stuart let out a sigh. His mind was going haywire with the possibilities of suspense.
Stuart's voice was filled with tiredness as if his life was over. "That would be great, I will look forward to it. But there is one thing I want to ask and I can not wait to know about it. So just answer this last question. Why is he pretending to be a singing beggar if he is a billionaire?"
"Yes sir. I would love to answer all your questions. His real name is Christian Evercast, He is famous in New York City for his ugly face and great Money. Why is he faking his ugly face, Nobody Knows."
Stuart remained silent on the phone. The darkness surrounded him except for the light above his head making him a spotlight in the center of the room. He was too stunned to speak a word. Christian Evercast. Ugly Man! Pretending.
"Sir!"
Didn't Riley say that the man who wanted to Marry her was ugly too?
"No Response."
He groaned thinking to himself what was wrong with his boss this time, he was behaving unusually from his cold aloof self.
"Sir, I asked you when I should come?"
That does it for him as Stuart snapped getting off the bed.
"Now."
The detective opens his mouth to speak to interject but then decides against it.
'Forget it, He seems to be in a bad mood.'
Sighing, the man agrees and hangs up the call while Stuart walks to the black and white cabinet pulling out a medical kit, he needed an Advil.
'Argh! I shouldn't have drunk so much.'

The air was clear and scented with Lovemaking. The breeze seemed to be flirting with the small plants. The weather seems to be as pleasant as Christian's mood could be. Inside the room, sunlight shone on two people's entangled bodies seemingly covered by a blanket.
Christian admired the red patch on the bed and then Riley's body openly. The more he looked at her the more he felt that she looked good bearing his marks. It was a full feast to his eyes. His Adam's apple bobbed up and down and he swallowed, suppressing his emotions.
He squinted and sized up her beautiful face again. High nose, beautiful brows, Long curled eyelashes, and thin Pink lips that we're broken because of his harsh kisses. Her beautiful long legs were entangled with him. But Christian didn't mind. Last night he had channeled his desires to overpower him. Yet who wouldn't she was his pixie who was responsible for extra sparkles in his galaxy-like life. His black holes of pain were all devoured by her little sparkly lights. Last night he felt he was the happiest man alive. Then again who wouldn't be? The Woman of his Dreams had accepted him. Two years of hard work now felt like nothing compared to his happiness. Amidst the winter his heart was warm. No wind could ice it.
'Perhaps she could if she got to know the truth.' The voice inside his head irritated him and the hold he had on her waist automatically tightened. He didn't want to overthink it, it was better to just enjoy the moments he was having for now.
Before Riley opened her eyes she groaned in pain.
'Shit. It hurts.'
Perhaps if she knew it would hurt that much she wouldn't have thrown the reason out of the window and let him dominate her.
Last Night He had gone crazy on her. Sucking the nectar out of her yet she didn't try to move away. Neither did she resist him. Perhaps her Guilt has proven as a driving force to let him dominate her.
The moment she opened her eyes, Beggar's face zoomed in front of her. He seemed to be looking at her but was lost in a bubble. Yet his wolf-like fiery gaze made her scared. She attempted to move a little, but her sore body was tightly entangled with him. His hot body seemed to be burning and she immediately struggled more to push him away.
Christian held her chin and looked at her coal eyes which were wet as if they were soaked in crystal clear water. Her eyes looked like a pair of jewels.
Before she could react, his thin lips pressed on hers. All the words of her protest were stuck in her throat. She couldn't say a single word. After kissing her thrice he left her lips which were already swollen.
"Good Morning Honey." His hoarse voice was low, deep, and seductive.
Riley's cheeks flamed red, and she took her eyes from him but it turned out bad as her eyes caught sight of Naked chest which was covered in hickeys.
Her ears reddened too and she locked eyes with his remarkable brown ones. "Morning."
Riley noticed His eyes turned softer than usual as his hands loosened on her waist.
"I will bring you to the bathroom."
"What. No. No. I can go by myself."
"Be Good Honey. It was my fault last night. You won't be able to move from the pain."
'What a shame.' Her whole face heated up in embarrassment to her neck. She wanted to curse him for being so boldly announcing it.
But Christian didn't mind her at all as he stood up from the bed. Naked.
Riley blinked her eyes in a daze, not expecting him to stand up without any clothes on. She froze for a while before coming to her senses. The scream from her throat finally busted the calm atmosphere of the room and a pillow was launched on his back.
"Ahhh...You. Hoodlum."
Christian didn't mind; he picked up his pajamas from the floor, smiling internally.
