She moves to sit right next to him and hugs him. “Thank you. That makes me feel so much better.” She looks up at him and notices that he still has not stopped blushing. “You are so cute. I just want to keep hugging you.” She smiles at him when she lets go.
“I love the fact that you are so shy sometimes. I’m used to guys that just take what they want.” She hugs him again, this time hanging on a little bit longer. She looks up into his eyes while still hugging him.
“You make me feel so safe and warm. Thank you for that.” She feels herself being drawn in and she kisses him. She cannot stop herself. His hand moves to her face and caresses it when he returns her kiss, then he breaks it up.
“Maybe we shouldn’t do this anymore, my professionalism has seemed to lapse.” He turns away and stares at the floor. “I can’t help you this way and I don’t want to hurt you, but I need to help you.”
“I’m afraid that I’ll get depressed again. I am working through so many things right now, I need you. I am so sorry that I did that. I didn’t mean to. You’re just so understanding and such a good friend that I couldn’t help myself. Please don’t go.” She grabs his hand. “I promise that I won’t do that again while your here. Please?” She pleads with him to stay.
“I guess I could stay for a bit longer. So, what are you guys up to tonight? I see that at least Samantha is going out.” He raises an eyebrow wondering if Kelly is going out too.
“I don’t know if I should tell you about this.” She looks at him and takes a minute. “We have decided that the best remedy for sadness is going to the bar and finding a guy to screw senseless. So that’s what we are going to do.” She says calmly with a wicked smile.
“You know, I don’t know if that is the best idea right now. What if you end up somewhere you don’t want to be?” He asks concerned.
“The worst-case scenario, I end up at some guy’s house and the sex isn’t good. It will be awkward, but not the end of the world. I think a series of nights with no strings attached should get me out of my funk.”
“Well, I see you have thought about this at least a little. Just be careful. In my professional opinion, stepping outside of your feelings can be very therapeutic to get over such a heart break. Just remember, it isn’t something you should do too much, or you might lose yourself.” Aaron warns her as he starts to panic. “Do you mind if I come with? I haven’t been out in a while and who knows, maybe I’ll find someone too. I think it’s been about a year since I had sex with anyone. I’ve been working too much.” He comments.
“Wow, that is a long time to not have sex with someone. I’m assuming you have at least taken care of yourself?” Kelly looks at him with wide eyes.
“Yes, I yank my own chain if you must know, but it isn’t as pleasurable as making love to someone else.” He looks down at the floor and blushes.
“Well then, it’s settled, you’re coming with. Why don’t we meet you there, we decided on the bar down on Main Street, it seems like a pretty happening place. We will see you in about an hour, o.k.?” She holds her breath, hoping he will say yes.
“Sure.” He gets up and makes his way to the kitchen door.
Kelly gets dressed and looks in the mirror. She has picked a short cocoa brown skirt with no underwear and a see-through blue shirt. The blue is her best color, it brings out her eyes. Not too slutty.
Samantha comes in and gets her. “Time to go.”
They arrive at the bar and Aaron is waiting for them. He is wearing a gray button-down shirt half unbuttoned and a pair of faded blue jeans. Damn, he looks really good. Too bad he is off limits.
“You didn’t tell me he would be here. He’s looking tasty though.” Samantha elbows her in the ribs.
“Sorry, he asked me if it was o.k. to come hang out with us. He figured maybe he could get lucky too. He said it had been a while since he has been too busy working.” Kelly smiles at him and makes her way to his table. When they get there, he had already ordered drinks. Kelly sucks it down and then says to the waiter, “Keep it coming.”
“Kelly, please slow down. I don’t want to have to sweep you off the floor at the end of the night.” He cautions.
Samantha looks at him, “Are you here to get laid or watch over us?”
“Both. I wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t look out for you.”
Kelly’s drink arrives and she gulps it down as fast as the first one. “Bring me two more.”
Aaron stops the waiter, “One for the lady, please.”
“Now, why did you do that?” She pouts.
“Because I care about you.” He looks straight into her eyes about an inch from her. He almost reaches over and kisses her.
“Am I interrupting?” A tall woman asks, standing next to Aaron.
“No.” Aaron turns around and looks her up and down.
“I was wondering if you would like to get a drink with me over at my table?” She makes sure that he notices she isn’t wearing a bra.
He looks at Kelly and Samantha, “Is everything fine here?”
“Yes, go ahead.” Samantha smiles. He leaves with her and instead of going to her table, she leads him outside. “Oh wow, that was fast.” Samantha laughs. Kelly looks upset.
The waiter shows up with her drink and Kelly downs it. She says to the waiter, “I’m good for now. Thanks.”
She feels a hand on her shoulder. “Hi, I’m Ian. What’s yours?” Kelly turns around and a handsome man is standing directly behind her. He has chocolate brown hair, somewhat pale skin, with intense green eyes and he looks to be almost six foot tall. She notices that he is wearing a green shirt that matches his eyes and a pair of dark blue stretchy jeans. He is very fit, and he is about thirty. She notes as an afterthought that he must have money because he’s wearing a Rolex.
“Hi, I’m Kelly.”
“May I sit with you two?”
“Yes, of course you can.”
“I saw you earlier, but I waited. I wanted to make sure that you weren’t with your other guy friend.” He smiles and sits so close to Kelly that their legs touch.
“Oh, Aaron. Yeah, he just took off with some woman. Guess he’s getting busy right now.” She starts to feel tipsy and giggles.
He laughs, “I wanted to know if you would like to come back to my hotel suite with me?”
She looks into his eyes, “Perfect.” As she turns around to tell Samantha that she is leaving, she watches her being swept away by a young man onto the dance floor.
The way to the hotel is fuzzy for her. When they get to the hotel he pushes the button for the top floor, then he enters a key code and turns to her. “You can’t get up to the penthouse unless you have the key code.”
“How did you get the penthouse code? I thought it was only used by the owner of the hotel.”
“That I am.” He smiles as he opens the door to the penthouse suite.
As soon as he shuts the door, he grabs her and kisses her passionately. She puts her hands on his chest to steady herself and he pulls her closer. His heart beats fast and she can feel the warmth of his skin through his shirt. His hands disappear under her shirt and pulls it over her head, then he unclasps her bra and takes it off. He leans down and licks her nipples making her gasps.
He picks her up in his strong arms like she weighs nothing and lays her on the bed, then he pulls up her skirt to find a surprise. He smiles and pulls down his pants as she pulls off his shirt.
He kisses her again and spreads her legs. She can feel him long and hard, sliding into her. She gasps again. Thrusting into her, he alternates between fast and then slow motions. She grabs his hips and pushes him all inside her, as they moan together. He slows down so she playfully bites his lower lip. He gives her a charming look and thrusts in deep, then he stops and falls over onto his back. They lay there for a bit looking at the ceiling, then she gets up and puts her clothes back on. As she walks to the door, he gets off the bed and kisses her goodbye.
No strings attached that is what she wanted. She keeps telling herself as she gets in a cab and goes home. When she gets home, she notices that Grayson and Samantha are there. “What is going on?” She inquires as she steps out of the cab.
“I realized Samantha came home without you and I wanted to make sure you were alright.”
“Thank you for being so concerned, but as you see I am just fine. Now if you do not mind, I think I am going to get some sleep. Goodnight.” She walks inside and goes to bed without a second thought. Grayson returns home and Samantha decides to go to bed too.
