DAMIAN'S POV
"Help me!" Matilda sent for the hundredth time. She sounded drugged and a peek into her mind left my eyesight blurry. Strong stuff.
The mansion I knew Matilda was kept in was quiet. I broke tge lock and gained entrance into the house.
There was no time to check around for whoever might still be in the house. They were all probably at the wedding and left Matilda locked up and drugged to achieve their goals.
My mind wandered to two separate places, Avery and Matilda.
I was worried about Avery's safety and even if we didn't share the mindlink anymore. She was my responsibility and i had let her slip out my hands.
The mindlink waxed stronger and I could feel I was getting closer.
Tye door in which Matulda was tepped in was locked so I has to break the lock. When this was finally done, I took a peek inside to see if Matilda was alone.
"What the hell is wrong with you? The door was locked and the house is realatively empty!" I chastised myself.
Matilda was tied to her bed with strong looking ropes with no one caring how she was faring. They all abandoned their own kind and went for a blood wedding.
Absurd!
I noticed Matilda's mouth was gagged with a white cloth.
If Legolas was to treat his blood like this, how much vampires whom he detested with his soul.
I moved to one end of the bed and tore the ropes off her.
"Behind you!" Matilda warned.
I turned immediately seeing something silvery slicing through the air and missing me by a second but not entirely. I got a scaratch on my cheek and part of my nose which let out blood, just a little.
It didnt heal. The putrid stench of Vervian filled my sinuses. It had laced with that horrible plant' juice.
The aurburn haired faeblood sliced his swords again ad right for my neck missing since I was prepared.
"You bastard! You took her away from me!"
He kept ranting and swinging his sword back and forth in a non stop manner. He was crazy.
I knew he meant Matulda and that meant he was the"boyfriend" Kalim had mentioned before.
He lunged at me again but this time i attacked. My bloods pumped with adrenaline and i sent him flying with a knockout punch.
The punch sent him flying and he landed on a shelf breaking it and losing grip of his sword which scattered opposite him and to my feets.
I stomped on the weapon shattering it to small pieces.
The faeblood rose refusing to lose the battle. His nose was bleeding heavily and seemed to have shifted position. To be frank, it was now crooked.
“i don't want to kill you!” I told tge man warning to keep his distance. He circled me like a predator would do to it's pretty. I will with the weapons now but that did not help one bit.
He was staring at me like a pig he was disgusted at and yet wanted to devour me and that should be my job since I was the monster.
"I won't attack you. You are far too advantaged now." He said, still closing in on me.
I wondered what he was plotting and cranked by guard up a hundred percent.
He turned to Matilda and raced for her before I could even react, i was too preoccupied with the thought that he wanted to harm me and not Matilda.
He reached into his breast pocket and withdrew a small dagger.
"You know what's funny Vampire? How you got to sleep with her despite my various attampt just to kiss her. Now she's carrying your baby and not mine."
What?! Matilda was pregnant! That is impossible! We only...a day ago. Was faeblood conception that fast?
"I see you don't know! " The faeblood added watching my anguish and enjoying it.
If Matilda was carrying my child then the urge to protect her was doubled.
"We wouldn't want our blood being tainted with a curse would we?"
He brought the knife slowly to Matilda's neck. The cold metal.made her shiver slightly and I could feel her fear. She stared at me expecting rescue. I knew hwr to be a damsel of no distress but this time was different.
The cold blade went into her skin to reveal a pinkish inside and blood! That was the last thing my sanity knew.
THIRD PERSON POV
Damian lunged at Nathan who shrieked in sheer horror when it happened. He hadn't been expecting this obviously.
Nathan was flung to the floor with Damian on top of him, hus eyes steel like and downright terrifying to peer into.
The faeblood closed his eyes to shut off the evil bright blue irises peering into his body.
"Please!" He begged the monster, hoping something human was still in control.
A sudden pain shot in body starting from his neck and veins that lead to every part In his body.
Damian had his fangs buried to his neck as he drained him. Nathan watched the life being such out of him which he could nothing but lay paralysed and stare up at the ceiling and doing the most stupid thing, admiring it.
Death was funny in that sense. The world was drowning and he knew he was living. He wanted to pleas one more time but his mouth was closed shut and all that escaped were gasps.
It was indeed the end.
Damika stopped. His sanity had returned He had a frozen look indicated that he had regret.
He stepped away feom the now lifeless body that was beginning to sprout roots and make a rocking sound as it stands into the earth.
Matilda had somehow untied herself and ran to hug her saviour. Blood was still trickling down her neck but she did not care.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Their love for each other was confirmed and they hugged themselves tight.
"I think you should go. Go and save Avery." Matilda whispered into Damian's ear.
"What about you?" Damim gave a protest but Matilda hushed him.
" I'll be fine."
Damian broke their hug abruptly and ran a finger on Matilda's thin face,
"I'll come back."
"I know."

LEGOLAS' POV
Forces fell from both side but I had to admit, The vampires were doing greater damage and will the witches on their side.
The problem was Avery. If she died, the vampires would follow and we would only be dealing with the witches.
I reached out for the gun i had hidden away in my pants. The pistol was cold and it made me friend knowing Avery would soon be like that, cold at touch or would they burn? Considering it had UV, they just might.
The gun had two bullets ans that meant I only had a shot or two before I was going to be on own as a complete failure.
The elders saw me draw out the gun and it gave them the courage to peptalk me.
"Legolas you can stop this madness. You are not beyond redemption." The one that hardly uttered a word, Abednego said.
"Who made you God? Maybe it's you that beyond redemption." I retorted waving the gun, freely In their faces. That had a scare each time the gun went at their direction.
"Don't worry. It for you. It for her."
I directed the gun right at Avery who was quite occupied ripping off heads.
GBOW!!
AVERY'S POV
It took only millisecond for me to make out what was going on.
Legolas had a gun pointed at me and a shot followed.
My eyes closed immediately and I expect to feel the pain.
There was nothing.
I opened my eyes and stared at Legolas. He had aimed right for my head but there was nothing. I looked down and met...Damina on th floor, on his head, a hole that would have been mine.
All the hate I had developed for him melted immediately.
I fell on the floor and pulled him closer to me in a rushed manner and almost violently.
"Damian speak to me!" I yelled.
He was beginning to turn blue but spoke,
"I'm sorry for everything. Win and live again. I never even got you to call me father." His voice was weak, his hair was deteriorating to a pale grey tone, his skin wrinkled...He was aging.
"Tell Matilda i love her and I love you Avery."
I was beyond moved. The tears were pouring out like a waterfall.
I didn't want him to live. If anything could hear me, they should save hum. I didn't care at what price.
His body suddenly burst into flames. He did not scream, he did not jerk, he only winked.
"No!"
His body was gone, I could only see his ashes now. The fire died out just as quick as it had started but still hot.
I lacerated my fingers touching it. My... father's ashes.
Legolas cocked up his gun again and pointed at me.
"Too bad. You'll join him anyway."
I snapped. My pureblood's gift did not fail me this time.
A wave of golden light escaped my hands and knocked the gun right out of his hands. The gun never got to the floor. It was almost like it poofed away.
"You monster!" My voice was deep and thick, like a possessed one. It even terrified me.
"I'll show you what helll feels like!"

THIRD PERSON POV
Avery and Legolas left tge earth floating midair like a demonic force was in control. Her eyes were hollow and blood red.
Her body was slowly turning into a ball of light, like a light bulb.
The light engulfed Legolas who screamed in anguish as his skin began to melt burn off.
The light was blinding and an explosion followed.
White noise!
Screaming!
Silence!
Deafening silence.
