Confusion furrowed my brow as I tried to grasp the situation. "What do you mean by control?" My informant shifted uncomfortably, clearly on edge. "I mean, he has something on her. Something that makes her do whatever he wants."
"And it's even worse," he said, glancing nervously around the room. "Bruno has been using Sofia to make secret deals with the government in the Philippines. Ferrari Cooperation, the company owned by the Ferrari pack, has suffered major losses because of it."
I sank back in my chair, my mind racing. Everything started to make sense. Ferrari, our biggest rival, had recently faced a significant setback. Their secret dealings with the Philippine government had fallen apart, and now I knew it was all due to Bruno's meddling. He had manipulated Sofia to serve his own petty interests, putting all of us at risk. The pieces were finally falling into place. Despite our mutual hate towards Deangelo, I couldn't help but feel annoyed with him as well. It was foolish of him to use someone like Sofia for such insignificant purposes.
