With the shades of the moon still in full view, beautifully illuminating, the owl's cry and its resonating flapping frolicking feathers. The throbbing arms of her wrist watch slowly pushed against each other, reverberating through the covers of silence coating the noir sky. Twelve, the longer slow running arm of her watch, halted upon the boldly inscribed 12.
"Hello?!"
Her eyes were drawn from the glassy apparel of her watch, to the slow creaks the door made with its hinge. She jerks up upon the loud bang that followed.
"Who's there! Show yourself!"
She said, amassing herself within her folded arms, as shutters of shivers cascaded her every being.
That minute I hated myself for choosing this mission; I mean I couldn't have picked something cooler but no I chose the roughest.
My body ordered by the course of fear, I forced apart my gritting teeth, cooked up courage as I went on my toes, standing on each tip. I hugged unto the feels of the black painted room, slowly creeping into the basement, forgetting that the concrete walls were firmly rigid with installed material that prevented refraction of sound waves: a perfect room created to swallow up noise.
The details of how it was made, was left at the discreet minds of its engineers, but right now, i couldn't be more grateful for its existence.
"Shhhh -"
maybe a Male ghoul, but her voice was enough to end me within my tracks.
"-- Calm down I'm Here to help."
Now she got more interested.
"Who are you? what do you want with me?"
Insecure and clothed in fear, she was very well inquisitive.
"Shhh just calm down okay, I'm trying to get these handcuffs off you. Hold on!"
"What are you...why are you trying to help --"
I just decide to stop talking and went straight at it, tinkering it, hoping she would take the hint that I was on her side.
The first turn of the key, delivered an unwanted result, which ushered another quick twist, which yanks the cuffs off her wrist to the ground.
The second I freed the cuddling shackles, her molded fist kissed the soft cheeks of my face. I retrograded, staggering back from the imbalance her unannounced punch created.
She pounced on me, kicking,shouting, pummeling, as If was the enemy. Again I was thankful that this place was sound proof if not our whole bickering and futile struggle would have reached my father and he's the last person I'd want to see twisting to knob of this basement door.
Her strength was dominating, from week slurpy noodles, to a growling Hybrid. Even though she has gone 6 week without food, I had to find a way keep here at bay, restrain her and try to explain everything to her.
"Dear lord!" I thought, as levitated out of her reach. Far from her jabbing claws, i tried explaining myself to her once again.
"Hey! Calm the fuck down Lora."
Well I too got a bit of a feisty in me, as I beaded a scream at her.
"Its me Michael B. Jordan --"
I made a step closer to her
"-- the one who crashed Eliot's party at the back of the pack house. Remember?"
She stares first at me, with her wandering eyes carefully picking my face. Finally settled, she calmly responds.
"Yea I remember. Imposter!"
She yelled and now I really had to clear that up, and prove my fealty. But before I muster forth the right sentences, she closes up the distance between us, aiming for my head with her hands. She took hold of my hair, forcefully dragged it forward, pulling my face to meet her fist once again. Damn it hurt. Still unrecovered, she sends both her hand at me, pushing me which caused me to reel over and fall, hitting the hard cemented surface.
Without hesitation, she launches at me again. I rolled away from her grip, used my compulsion ability on her, which stops her amid movement, freezing her whole body. I needed to talk to her properly, but her ravaging savage attacks made it impossible.
"Look!"
I screamed.
"Lora enough!"
Still trying to clench unto the little air my nose could grab, I took a deep breath before continuing my speech
"I'm not the enemy here okay. And I'm sorry I crashed your party its just, it can be So lonely being the on true heir to the oldest, baddest and most vicious vampire that ever lived."
Deeply sincere, i wished she believed my story and apology
"Dominic B. Jordan, I'm sorry for appearing to you out of the blue and not telling you there and then who I am. But forget me, my father and his new assistant are treating to end both our worlds and its up to you to stop it. I'm not the enemy her Lora my father is and I'm going to help you stop him."
Once I had explained my self I stood up from where I was sited and walked over to where she was standing and stood directly front of her before i released her from my control, so she could finally move.
We had a little stare down first before she release the air I didn't know she was holding directly in my face making me regret standing so close and directly in from of her. Moving on I gave her some food and she yanked it away from me like a rampaging teenager, making me stumble backward as I watched her quietly.
6:15pm
Lora POV
"please calm down I'm Here to help"
"You don't know anything child now step aside and let us end this like real men"
Instead of stepping aside, I step in right into the heat of the moment as I yell at them on both sided, bringing them to a halt.
"Stop! I won't let you do this! This war is going to tear down every thing our world is built on! Just because we are a little different from each other, vampire and werewolves don't you think we should rather be celebrating ourselves, and not tearing ourselves apart?"
I hadn't finished my statement when The Commander in general to the vampire cut me short.
"Stop with all this nonsense child they killed Our Own why should we forgot them?"
The werewolves' commander wasn't hesitant in the slightest, and didn't hold back a quick jabbing reply.
"No! You are they ones who killed Our Own so we shouldn't forgive you"
"Enough pls this is my biological father we are talking about! he was created by the love that both of your kind shared for each other. Vampires? werewolves? Does it really matter? I know we both come from Different worlds but let all disagree to agree. There is much diff---"
One of the vampire soldiers yell from the back to interrupt my speech again
"Are we seriously taking advice from a child?? Soldier attack! Show. No Mercy!"
Immediately he said that I leapt out of reach of their squabble, even though I knew I couldn't get hurt if stayed. I just couldn't stand to see the people who made me, this same people who made my father destroy themselves. I had do something I had to do that next right thing. Hovering about them, I watched them tear each other,
And I had absolutely no Idea what to do.While still orbiting around them, still thinking of what to do, Nova my guardian showed up and I was baffled by her presence
"I heard your distress call, I hope came in the nick of time. Whats the situation?"
"Wait distress call I don't ever remember sending... never mind they won't listen to me, i tried talking to them but they wouldn't listen. What do I do? What do I do Nova?"
"wow it looks bloody down there. I've never seen one this much before, but I have a plan..."
With that plan in motion we took to the action defending all the werewolf's we could, killing all the vampires we could and sparing those who surrendered To my 7 foot 9 inchs hybrid form. I was truly a beast and a 7 foot 9 inches killing machine and this was my first time transforming into an hybrid. It was all or nothing as did my optimally best to defend all the werewolves. It wasn't easy but I had Nova on my side and Michael was the leverage and bait to lure Dominic out of his hiding.
