My brother and I we're having a family meeting which only happens once there is a war coming or in this case a new relative. I Frankly couldn't wait to meet the new fanger or in this case the new pup, Or so I thought. We we're 6 in the meeting room i think but it only consist of my wife, I, my two grown up daughters my brothers and there wife's and kids plus my father, mother and of course the great count Dracula his wife and kids. Okay its was basically a meeting of high rank vampire of our community. We we're well over a thousand now but we did believe in breaking into small group like the werewolf do. We believe in unity. And Soo united we stand united we fall. It was as a result of this that a few rebellious vampire join an Anarchy leader named Dominic B. Jordan He is the one waging war on the werewolves, Any way its a story or another day. I decided to start the meeting while father was out to run a quick errand for Dracula while we we're in the meeting room.
"My dear one the day we finally visit or family from the other side is night upon us and I couldn't be more happier to finally see all our relatives in good health. even the new ones too."
My younger brothers agreed with me. I know its weird but for a family of vampires we definitely have each other backs always looking out for each other for the past 300 years now. My dad entered and all the little fangers which are my brothers kids ran up to hug him I smiled at my dad and continued with what i was saying
"Ehem all we know is they are in new York and we are in California... Ia... Get it"
My dad rolled his eyes at me as he said
"Focus Calvin."
"Yea sure umm soo urr any ideas on how we intend on getting there before sunrise on Saturday. "
"How about we fly there we haven't flow as a family in ages and my wings are getting tired of flying a few block"
said Noah Melvin's first son but his mom answered him instead saying it was a terrible idea because of the distance. After a while of pondering Kelvin asked
"How far is New York to California any way maybe we we could take a cab."
I quick checked the world map that we had in the meeting room did a few calculation before answering him
"2,833.8 miles that a proximately 42 hours. If we take it one day at a time."
"we don't have all day son its already Thursday night over there and we need to be there first thing Saturday morning its a good thing we are 3hours behind."
My father said but I began to think this might not be possible until Dracula banged his fist subtly on the table as he said
"Start parking"
Before standing up to leave the meeting room Mavis his youngest daughter stood up as well as she asked her father
"We can't just start packing how are we going to get there what means do we use"
"Hmmm that up to you all. All I know is that you all need to start parking like Ravana rightly said we Dont have all day"
Immediately we followed his orders as we started parking for the trip to
New York. We were all brain storming on how to get there as fast as we could.
2hours later we we're all packed and ready to go. And because. we vampires don't live in pack house it was easy to to lock the doors of our two story building without worrying about visitors besides we rarely had any since most of the people on the street see us as creeps and weirdo. And it doesn't help the fact that we we're living in a once hunted house or the fact that the we were always dressed in black, red, dark grey or magenta.
Melvin POV
It was past 10pm and we're all standing at our front pouch and our with our small bags accessing the environment. Every one who passed by were creeped out or trembling in fear. My brother already booked the next flight to New York. Yea we decide to fly and flying it was so in an orderly fashion we all left our front pouch to the back yard and one by one we transformed to our fullest vampire self start from Dracula and his family to ours. Once the transformation was over we picked up our small bags and off we're to the airport to catch the next flight to New York. The flight to the airport was short and so we we're able to get to the airport change back to regular person just in time for our flight.
