King Chapter 1754

Chapter 1754: Chapter 124: Battle of the Eight Khor Tribes (Part 3) As the protagonist, Princess Madalena once considered explaining that this was an accident, but ultimately gave up. Establishing authority was what she wanted from the start. Instilling fear in everyone could achieve the same goal. If conflict arises in the future, those who experienced this event would undoubtedly remain wary and refrain from becoming her enemies easily. The small twist in events instantly boosted confidence in their ambush plan. The chaotic battle persisted, and the duel in the sky gradually approached its end. The stolen body was never truly hers, making perfect harmony difficult to achieve. The prolonged and intense battle exerted severe pressure on the bodies of the powerhouses from the invaders’ side, leading to their gradual defeat. Soon, two Sanctuary Powerhouses were killed, and the remaining invaders hurriedly fled in all directions. Fortunately, in the dim light, everyone couldn’t see the battle in the sky; otherwise, the chaos below would surely have been affected immediately. Upon Princess Madalena’s command, everyone instantly activated the Magic Formation, trapping a Sanctuary Elf within its bounds. “Damn, the enemy has set a trap; don’t follow blindly!” The roar of the Sanctuary Elf immediately caught the attention of its companions, who rushed over. Compared to pursuing the remaining foes, safeguarding their own was evidently more crucial. Within the Anti-Human Alliance’s capacity, solidarity was still strong. A group of powerhouses acted simultaneously, breaking the Magic Formation in an instant. No time to celebrate, a larger Magic Formation directly enveloped them all. Recognizing they’ve been deceived, it’s a pity that it was too late for anything to change. Ordinary people with limited lifespans lack the leisure to study Magic Formations, unlike the Divine Spirits who have lived for countless years. When it’s challenging to increase their own power, they explore many fields to enhance their combat abilities. “Nine against thirteen, we have the advantage; you choose your opponents!” Princess Madalena announced confidently. Duels between The Peak Strong Powerhouses never determine victory by numbers. Enemies within the Magic Formation were significantly suppressed, compounded by the previous day’s battle depleting much of their strength. Of their full power, barely half to sixty percent could now be exerted. “Let’s start by taking down the weakest!” As he spoke, Phoenix launched a stealth attack, ignoring the code of honor, on a Bimon Sanctuary. Instantly, a group of Human Sanctuary Powerhouses followed suit. It was unclear whether they were picking easy targets or driven by deep hatred, but the first wave of attacks all struck against the Bimon Sanctuary. The effect was immediate. In comparison to reinforcements from various species, these Bimon Sanctuaries had only recently broken through, their strength at the bottom tier within the Sanctuary. In their weakened state, when ambushed by Human Sanctuary Powerhouses stronger than them, they naturally couldn’t withstand it. Every anguished cry represented the plight of a Bimon Sanctuary. Some suffered heavy injuries, while others lost their lives. Seeing their companions meet misfortune, the Sanctuary members of the Alien Coalition rushed to help, but the Magic Formation’s barriers hindered their speed. In life-and-death battles among the powerhouses, victory is always determined in a split second. Breaking through the Magic Formation’s blockade, the Sanctuary Elf, seeing only half a body left, desperately wanting to perish with the enemy, shouted urgently. But it was already too late, as in the moment she cast a protective shield on herself, a loud “boom” resounded. The shockwave from the explosion launched an indiscriminate assault all around. The well-meaning Sanctuary Elf became the biggest victim. Using all her hidden cards, blood still dripped from her lips, and her clothes were blasted to shreds. She quickly conjured a magical veil to cover her exposed body. Before regaining her senses, she was met with another sneak attack, and then, everything went black as she lost consciousness. And she wasn’t the only unfortunate one, as if cursed, every mutual destructive move inevitably swept up one or several teammates. It wasn’t dying at the hands of enemies; being taken down by their own was suffocating beyond belief. Even more stifling was the Bimon Sanctuary that chose mutual destruction. Realizing they couldn’t escape, for the sake of their species’ continuation, they chose to sacrifice themselves to break the Magic Formation, giving companions a slim hope. The result, however, was their own people rushing to shield the enemy from the blow, leaving the Magic Formation shattered and their cohort gravely harmed. Innately efficient, the battle against a vanquished enemy turned expedient and swift. By the time the battle concluded, the participating Sanctuary Powerhouses hadn’t entirely processed what transpired. The rapid progress far exceeded any previous skirmish among peers, and no one even noticed Princess Madalena’s slight tremor. Clearly, the battle that just transpired wasn’t easy for her. The smooth victory was largely thanks to the Calamity Qi playing its part. This magnification of misfortune was also a part of the Law of Calamity. The power was immense, and repercussion equally daunting. Usually, it can only bully the weak, yet it was able to affect powerhouses of the same level this time, mainly because the Divine Right exerted its influence. Without a Divine Spirit’s station, wielding the Divine Right imposed considerable pressure on her. “It’s not wise to linger here; we should leave promptly!” Seeing others prepare to deal a sneaky blow to the Orc Army, Princess Madalena urged quickly. Time to find a place to recover, as continuing the fight would reveal her hand. Once people realize her abilities aren’t limitless, their reverence would diminish greatly. While the current victory was primarily due to her actions, the cooperation from her teammates was equally crucial. Without everyone’s assistance, Princess Madalena wouldn’t have had the capability to dispatch so many powerhouses. “The enemy suffered a great loss this time and will certainly learn from this. It will be hard to find a second opportunity soon; let’s return to the Kingdom first!” Robert’s suggestion received unanimous approval. The feat of eliminating thirteen enemy Sanctuaries was indeed astounding, yet the Orc Prairie held more powerhouses than just these. The strength backing the Alien Coalition alone was not something they could face head-on. Initially, the plan aimed at ambushing two or three enemy Sanctuaries, the most optimistic expectation being the elimination of four or five at most. It’s not that they aimed low, but the Orcs divided their forces to quash rebellions, meaning each army’s number of powerhouses couldn’t be too high. No one expected that the confrontation between the Orc Empire and the invaders escalated, with both sides heavily investing in the Bakuo’er Tribe’s battlefield.
