Chapter 26 (Aron's POV)
It was another rainy day in London.
No surprise there right?
I have no idea how people got used to it.
A few days a month would be ok. But in our case, we had sun a few days a month but other days it was rain, rain and guess what? More freaking rain!
But never mind my ranting.
If I don't count the rainy weather I was in a pretty good mood.
I woke up today to a beauty between my legs.
At first I thought I was dreaming, but the closer I got to my release, the more obvious it became that she actually had my dick in her mouth as a way to wake me up.
Of course I returned the favor. Twice.
Now I was sitting in my office, and unlucky me, today both my assistants left me.
They were on some wedding assignment or what the hell I know what it was.
I am just a man after all.
So I decided to leave my office phone detached today.
Well I actually unplugged it from electricity.
What? If I answered the phone every two seconds I wouldn't manage to get any work done.
So whoever needed something for me either had my phone or wasn't important at this moment.
I swear Rachel and Becky must've been some kind of robots to handle it all without a breakdown.
Or maybe it was just because we all know women are better at multitasking.
Yeah. Must be that.
So as I said.
I was sitting in my office, getting some work done when suddenly there was a knock at my doot. Because the door was closed I told the person standing in front of it to come in.
But when the person entered and I lifted my head I regretted it right away.
"What are you doing here? You are neither welcome here nor in my life! I will give you exactly a minute to turn around and leave my office!"
At my words I expected some fear or an expression filled with hurt and regret, but instead she gave me an evil smirk.
Oh yes of course. If you didn't guess it already, my biological mother came by my office.
Unfortunately.
"Now Aron. Is that any way to greet your mother?"
I could almost laugh at her words.
But since I was raised batter I decided to hold it in.
"Right. What do you want?"
Her smirk slipped at my words but an evil glint remained in her eyes.
"You see, I kind of made a name for myself years ago. And I managed to do that thanks to your stupid girlfriend."
My fists were clenched under the table and I was grinding my teeth really hard from all the anger I felt at her words. But I managed to not interrupt her. The sooner she told me what she had on her mind, the sooner she would leave me alone.
"So when she got tangled with that idiot Gareth, she pulled me under as well. Now, since you and I have a past, she won't pick up my calls and she is determined not to return to the world of fashion. But you see, I can't get back to where I was without her. Well honestly even with her it would be hard because she did a huge amount of damage to her picture."
When she finished her little speech she looked at me expectantly.
"That's it? I have no idea what I have to do with any of this?"
Her smirk was back firmly in its place.
"I am glad you asked. So far you have nothing to do with it. But you come into the picture now."
Her words somehow didn't sit well with me. Not at all. I knew she was an evil woman but somehow I had a feeling what she had to tell me would be on another level even for a woman like her. And unfortunately I was right.
"You see, I need Becky to return to the fashion world. And right now she has you and is not willing to leave. So what you will do for your beloved mother is break her heart. And once you do that she will have no reason to stay here anymore. That way you can be free of me again and I get my lifestyle back."
I couldn't help it when I burst out laughing at her crazy idea.
She actually thought I would go with her plan?
"You are even crazier than I thought if you believe I would leave Becky. Especially for you."
I said those words with determination.
But her smirk only grew at my words.
"But you see, I know you will. Because you love her. And if you decide to not turn my plan into a reality, I am afraid I will be forced to ruin the rest of Becky's reputation. I was with her since she started her career after all. So I know all her dirty little secrets. But that's not my main weapon. Becky forgot I have her passwords, so I have access to all her ways of communication."
Oh shit!
I could feel all my blood draining from my face and cold sweat running down my back, because I had a suspicion where this was going. And if I was right, we were fucked.
And my fears were confirmed with Margreth's next words.
"I have all her naked pictures she sent you a few days ago. So believe me. If I don't get what I want, those pictures will end up being the cover of every tabloid in the United Kingdom, if not in the whole world. And don't even think about telling her. Your beloved auntie will lose her house if you do."
My shoulders slumped, because I realized there was no way out.
I had to break the heart of the only woman I ever loved.
And I didn't even have a chance to tell her.
Now it looks like I never will.
