Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage Chapter 481

Bradley muttered under his breath, "Please don't tell me that woman is Orson's terrifying dinosaur in disguise?" "I need a forbidden love story that transcends species!" Madman cried out, his eyes locked on Crimson Lizard King. "Infinite Dimensions, hear my wish—let me marry my mount!" Crimson Lizard King had assumed human form for the first time, standing before the duo like a deadly goddess. She was stunning, mesmerizing. Both men stared wide-eyed, Madman even willing to "lower his standards." Orson thought he had no shame, but Madman had him beat by a galaxy. "You think you're worthy, foolish little insect?" Crimson Lizard King looked at Madman with unfiltered contempt. A chill ran down Madman's spine. He swallowed hard and leaned toward Orson. "She's not actually gonna kill me, right?" "She's got no loyalty bar," Orson replied, glaring. "She acts freely. You do the math." Madman let out a nervous chuckle and backed away, whispering, "It's fine, feelings take time. We're busy now anyway… but next time, I swear I'll win your heart!" He promptly hid behind Orson. "What was that? Repeat yourself," Crimson Lizard King turned her gaze, now filled with bloodlust, toward Bradley. Due to a certain someone's lack of creativity, she had a mysterious obsession with names—and took them very seriously. Bradley quickly backed away, forcing an awkward smile. "We all know Orson's naming skills are trash." "Back in Sword and Conquest, I asked him to name my account—dude just slammed the keyboard and gave me a string of nonsense!" Crimson Lizard King closed in, step by step. In a panic, Bradley blurted out, "Hey! Your name... it's a bit rough. How about I give you one? Aeloria. Sounds elegant." She paused. Her crimson eyes narrowed as she repeated, "Aeloria…" "Yes! Exactly! Aeloria—you're elegance with an edge. Beautiful and powerful in equal measure!" Bradley was sweating buckets, but his college-level vocabulary suddenly shined like never before. Orson scoffed. "Lame. What's wrong with Transport Tool No. 1? Says it all—number one in the world. The best." "So bold. So inspiring. Truly worthy of a guild leader," Blank chimed in, her sarcasm so thick it dripped. Everyone silently agreed: Crimson Lizard King, the undisputed top beast of Infinite Dimensions, wielding double King's Authority, deserved way better than being called a glorified taxi. "I've decided. I like that name." Crimson Lizard King gave Orson a cold, threatening stare. Stewart nodded. "Yeah, calling our top guild beast 'Transport Tool No. 1' is kind of a disgrace. Time to change it." Drunken Dream smirked. "Your naming sense is… less than a tenth of mine. Change it." Denoka, inspired by the earlier battle, looked betrayed—clearly he wasn't thrilled with his own nickname either. "Sorry, what'd you say? I think I lagged out just now." Orson froze mid-sentence, faking confusion with the grace of a third-rate actor. Everyone just sighed. "Cut the crap. Focus up and crush those two knights," Orson snapped, regaining command. These two seasoned Purple-Gold Dragon Riders were stronger than the ones seen during the mass guild battle at Pondenorlin City. Even with Stewart's massive buffs, a six-man squad didn't stand much chance—everyone but Orson knew it. "They've lost flight. I've got three and a half minutes until the Purple-Gold Dragon King arrives," Orson grinned like a fox. "If they're not down by then, I'm keeping all your loot." "Keeping?! You mean stealing!" Madman panicked. At this rate, Orson could "hold onto it" for a year or two. "Damn it! Flightless dragon riders? Time to flex!" "Focus fire on Dragon Knight Kaelar—he has lower HP," Blank ordered. "Mounts on the dragons. Drunken Dream, Flay's yours!" With a roar, Denoka transformed and soared upward with Drunken Dream and Lilith in tow, clashing head-on with Dragon Knight Flay. Thanks to Orson's passive title effects, the enemies couldn't fly, weakening the riders' combat effectiveness. Drunken Dream, with his high regen, could hold one off. The other three, mounted, were elite players—taking out one knight first was a solid strategy. But Orson frowned at the timer. The plan was good—but time was short. If the Purple-Gold Dragon King arrived first, it was game over. "Ants dare challenge me?" Kaelar sneered. Dragon Rider Technique: Crystal Dragon Surge! Kaelar's spear flashed. A massive amethyst serpent surged from it, rushing toward Blank and the others. "Fire support!" Blank shouted. "Mage—cover!" She turned and found Orson casually sipping wine on the ground. "The fight before the Dragon King arrives? That's your trial," Orson said with a grin, savoring his [Lucid Dream] wine. "Are you kidding me? We've got four Saint Lords to kill in under four minutes!" Madman shouted. "Can't say unless you try." Orson smirked. "Bastard!" Madman cursed. One glance at the boss's HP—over 100 million—made his head spin. Orson just raised an eyebrow. "You talk big, but your DPS buffed still can't beat Drunken Dream's. Disgraceful." In the sky, Drunken Dream and Denoka clashed violently with the riders. Elemental explosions erupted as Denoka's Holy Light breath collided with the enemy's dragonfire—but the level gap was brutal. Denoka shrieked as he took a massive hit to the torso, dragon blood raining from the sky. Dragon Rider Technique: Ray of Destruction! Drunken Dream narrowed his eyes. Bathed in radiant light, he drove his lance into Flay's abdomen. Denoka twisted mid-air, dodging another blast—but got clipped again, wings torn by a searing breath. He spiraled downwards. Lilith immediately cast Eternal Light, healing Denoka's wings as flesh regrew in seconds. Denoka flared his wings and hovered once again. Watching the enemy's breath cooldown, Drunken Dream saw his opening. Holy Breath: Point-Blank Strike! Crippling Strike -1.4 million! Flay was stunned. With his skills locked, he and his dragon activated Body Domination, but— "Money Traveler! Break that damn invincibility!" Drunken Dream barked. Bradley came roaring in atop a chimera. Soul Seal: Bone Shatter! Twin dragons formed between his hands, roaring with fury. In an instant, Body Domination was removed. Bradley retreated just as fast. "Death Bite! Take that dragon down!" Drunken Dream commanded. "I'm a Dragon King's son! Heir to the Dragon Throne!" Denoka shrieked with fury, his jaw clamping down on the enemy dragon's wing. With a crocodilian death roll, he tore the beast through the sky. Drunken Dream leapt skyward, holy light bursting around him, and slammed Flay off his saddle. His expression cold and sharp, he unleashed a seamless combo—strike after strike after strike. Meanwhile, Blank and Madman danced across Kaelar's dragon back, slashing with blinding speed. Blood and venom soaked the dragon's scales. Kaelar roared, activating Body Domination and shrugging off the debuffs. "Filthy insects—DIE!" He flung deadly techniques at them both. "Why is that fat bastard helping him but not us?! Break his Domination!" Madman screamed. "Shut it! Let me chug some mana first!" Bradley sat on the ground, guzzling blue potions while his chimera tanked the dragon with all it had. But the stat difference was enormous—even with three Domain-class pets, they'd only last seconds. Blank frowned, noticing the tide turning. She turned back to Orson. "This is a team fight! You're a mage—DO something!" She never saw the incoming blow. A dragon spear swept across her midsection— Blank didn't even get a chance to react. She was instantly killed.
