With the passing of time and the changing of seasons, 7 years went by in a flash.
Azmodeus had broken through to the Middle Void Refining Realm a few years ago and has since made great progress within the realm, as he predicted another breakthrough in the next dozen or so years.
And if all went according to plan, then he should be able to break through into the Half-Step Unity Form Synthesis Realm by the time he turned 50!
That may seem like half the lifetime for a mortal; however, for those who walked the path of limitless cultivation, 50 years was less than a nap for the true powerhouses.
And for the aloof Anomaly himself, he had already become accustomed to the passing of time, and even if another fifty years passed him by, no change would occur in his temperament.
Over the years, the only thing he truly yearned for was greater power.
He did not yet know his reason for wanting more power; however, that was a topic that could be delved into over time.

He was taken out of his loner reverie by the chirpy voice of a certain dragon girl, as she came in through the entrance of the cave abode before leaping in his direction with a giddy smile on her face.
Too bright…
There was just too much going on inside that pretty little head of hers, causing Azmodeus to put a hand in front of his face due to all the radiance being emitted from the short, overly well-endowed dragon beauty…
Nonetheless, he let out a soft sigh before looking down at the girl rubbing her cheeks against his own as he asked, "Another killing spree…?"
He could smell the iron from miles away, and Nao Long didn't carry around any sort of weapon on her person…
"..." Her eyes flickered erratically at his question as she stuttered while replying, "N-No… Ho-How could you think such a thing about someone as cute as me…?"
Azmodeus observed that guilty countenance of her's before petting her head and asking, "The number…?"
"...4…"
"4-?"
"4 billion…"
"..."
Azmodeus stared expressionlessly at the anxious woman before sighing and saying, "How did you manage to kill 4 billion people on a shopping trip? You were just meant to go get a few pairs of clothes…"
"W-Well, there was this woman! And she had the gall to say that the 'Reclusive Immortal' wasn't as handsome as the rumors described him to be, so I-"
"So you what?"
"So I accidentally let loose an energy beam… And then, well, boom…"
"Boom?"
"Yeah, the whole country disappeared… Bu-But not everything is so bad, as there's this cool crater that was left in its place! We can go snowboarding sometime and make it a date!"
Nao Long seemed to completely forget what she was talking about as she clung to his chest while smothering her breasts against his body, rambling on about all the things they could do with a large pit in the ground…
*Sigh…* Azmodeus let out his third sigh for the day, as he figured it was time to call it quits and get back to cultivating.
And just like that, time once again passed inside the Heaven Exploding Cave Abode, and along with it were the two permanent residents and one resident who came by whenever she wasn't busy with her sect duties.

9 years later.
Azmodeus was beginning to see results from his comprehensions of the Time Rune, but not enough to write home about.
On the other hand, all his aspects of existence had taken leap after leap, achieving speeds of progression that would've been impossible before increasing his innate comprehension levels with the help of the profound concepts contained inside the 'Logs of the Timeless Immortal'.
His Spirit Chef Profession was the first to make the leap into the Half-Step Heaven Rank, while his Alchemist Profession was the next to follow.
And it didn't take long before the rest of his professions made that jump into the Half-Step Heaven Rank as well.
On a side note, his cultivation was infinitely close to breaching into the Late Void Refining Realm, while his Sword Aura had already progressed into the Low-Earth Rank, allowing him to summon a near-indefinite number of swords!
Furthermore, with his current comprehensions of the Sword Law, on top of his Sword Aura, he could confidently take on someone in the Early Unity Form Synthesis Realm even without his additional boosts to basic attributes!
Nevertheless, more improvements have been made than just that, as he was also able to increase dozens of low-mortal-level laws to the 10% comprehension rate using Quintillions of his Evolution Essence!
It cost a pretty penny, but the tradeoff was far worth it in his opinion.
And while he was taking a quick second to go over his recent cultivation gains, he decided to check on his system interface, aiming to see all the changes that had been made over the years.
