Following these system notifications, Azmodeus felt another wave of power rush over him, as he wasted no time and continued his hunt, aiming to reach Level 3!

A few minutes passed by as he was ultimately able to kill another four creatures that lived in the forest around his 'house', namely, a small yellow bird, two lizards, and a frog.
All of which allotted him the exact same amount of stat points upon choosing to absorb their stats.
And at the moment he finished off the frog, a few system notifications rang out.

After these system notifications sounded out, another wave of power washed over Azmodeus as it started coursing through his veins, increasing every basic aspect of his existence!
"This means my stats have successfully reached 0.78!" He exclaimed, his impassive expression once again breaking.
After all these years of solitude, he had gotten used to the lack of emotions he let show through his facial expressions.
But after this system appeared in his life, the light was beginning to come back in his eyes, as even his complexion had dramatically changed from what it was a few days ago.
Nevertheless, he played around with his new level of strength, measuring in at 400 kg, as he just couldn't get enough of the feeling of becoming stronger!
And as he reveled in his strength, he took this chance to look at his system interface.
He called out, 'Open System', as a bright light flashed.

"Maybe I should try to hunt a Spiritual Beast?" He asked himself with a pondering expression.
He thought it over for a second and decided that it wouldn't hurt to attempt to defeat a few Lowest-Ranked Beast Minions.
In the world of Prometheus, there were certain categories that creatures who surpassed the 'Mortal Rank' went by.
Monsters and Beasts alike followed the same ranking system to determine just where it was that they stood in terms of the power hierarchy.

However, knowing something and actually experiencing it were two very different things.
On this note, someone of the Rank 1 Yang Sect would be out of luck if they encountered a monster or beast of the Low-Class Soldier Rank.
After all, even the most powerful of elders in the Yang Sect had only reached the very peak of the Body Refinement Realm...
Of course, all of these ancient elders hoped to acquire a way to break through into the Qi Condensation Realm; however, it was easier said than done...
Even if one scoured the lands for hundreds of miles, it would be nearly impossible to find a master in the Qi Condensation Realm!

When it comes to the cultivation journeys of beasts and monsters, unlike humans, beastkin, or demon subspecies, pure-blooded Monsters and Beasts advance in their cultivation through the devouring of other creatures.
Nevertheless, none of that was really relevant for the current Azmodeus, as he was in the middle of a beast hunt, aiming to find something that would give him more gains from killing them...
"This is where the beast tracks lead, but I can't quite figure out where the beast is..." Azmodeus muttered with a perceptive gaze before he put his hand to the hand-sized imprints in the dirt, a sudden flash of realization overcoming him.
He searched through the dirt and noticed the most distinctive feature of a baby direwolves' tracks, namely the slightly larger padding that they possessed.
"It looks like a relatively high-ranking Minion-Ranked Beast has taken away the owner of the first set of tracks belonging to a horned rabbit."
He didn't see it before, but the tracks weren't those of a spazzy horned rabbit, but were instead the mixed-tracks of a young Direwolf chasing its prey...
After understanding the truth of the situation, he brushed aside some shrubbery and saw the two culprits of both sets of tracks.
There was a two-meter-large Direwolf and a far smaller one-meter-large Horned rabbit. The Direwolf had dark-gray spiked fur and savage eyes, while the Horned rabbit had tannish brown fur with a singular pointy horn spiraling off the top of its head.
However, of the two, only one of them still had a semblance of life still left in its gaze...
