The three Yang Sect Disciples were still trying to process what was happening when, out of nowhere, a predatory gleam flashed in-between the sword-like brows of Azmodeus.
And that was all they needed to know to realize that they were about to die...
However, no one was willing to let life slip away so easily, and these Yang Sect Disciples were no exception.

They instantly released their inner strengths, hoping to thwart the advances of this freak of nature!
"Die! Bear Punch Destruction!" Yang Bao shouted.
"Flying Eagle Strike!"
"Spinning Circle of Death!"
They all unleashed everything they had!
However...

A blood fountain was shot out of each of their necks as the interior of the small hut was dyed a crimson red.
And inside this hut, four Yang Sect Outer Disciples died with disbelief etched across their faces.
"..." Azmodeus worked on cleaning up the 'mess' inside his home while a few system notifications rang out inside his head.

Following these system notifications, Azmodeus immediately clicked on 'Assimilate the Stats' and a few more pop-ups appeared not long after.

After all of these system notifications finished ringing out, he called out for his system interface, which opened up in less than an instant.

Azmodeus looked over his system interface and got a good understanding of the strength he now wielded.
"These boons are beyond my comprehension, and I haven't even had the system for longer than a few hours..."
He was overjoyed at everything that he was gaining, but in the end, he knew that his strength was nowhere near what it needed to be if he wished to fully cover up the killing of four fellow sect members...
Unless he made it to the Early Pulse Condensation Stage and successfully became an Inner Disciple, it was highly likely that he would be hunted down as soon as it was discovered that he killed four members of his own sect.
This was all to say that he had two choices if he wished to survive this debacle.
Option Number One: Give up and hand himself into the Yang Sect, hoping for some leniency on his punishment.
Or Option Number Two: Head deeper into the Yang Forest and find Spiritual Beasts at the Altering Muscle Stage and above. After which, he would kill them until he becomes strong enough to rocket straight up into being an Inner Disciple.

Soft footsteps echoed throughout the lush greenery around him as Azmodeus took one final look at his home before venturing deeper than he had ever traveled into the Yang Forest.
"It looks like things have been thrown off track, huh?" He asked himself with a wry chuckle.
Even after everything was presented to him in such a way, and his Outer Disciple dreams were crushed, he couldn't help but laugh at this entire situation.
He, who was once the weakest in his sect and likely all of the cultivation world, was now on the run after killing people who he once looked up to and aspired to become!
Fate truly has a funny way of letting things play out, haha...
Light-hearted laughs resounded in the Yang Forest as a boy who was once deemed the weakest of all cultivators made his way into an area that even Inner Sect Disciples of the Yang Sect tended to steer away from.

The Altering Muscle Minor Stage of the Body Refinement Realm (5th Minor Realm of 14).
This stage was one in which the cultivator would stop refining their organs and instead focus back on the muscles of the body.
Everything on the path of a cultivator was filled with balance, and after two minor realms focused almost entirely on improving the fortitude of the organs, it was once again time to find balance.
The Altering Muscle Stage was one of the most well-known stages in the Body Refinement Realm, mainly because of its affect on balancing various aspects of existence.

Azmodeus's voice sounded out in a low tone as he was trying to find an Altering Muscle Realm Spiritual Beast in the depths of the Yang Forest.
A few seconds passed, and just as he was about to give up on locating the Shadow Panther that escaped him a little bit ago, a shadowy figure leaped out from a few nearby bushes!
"Rawrrghh!!" The Shadow Panther roared with its razor-sharp fangs bared in the direction of a young boy.
"Ahh... There you are..."
Azmodeus's fierce eyes suddenly shot in the direction of the beast as he pulled out a sword and cut upward!
SLICE!
"Arrgghh...!
An anguished cry sounded before the four-meter-long beast was cut into two separate bloody pieces.
*Bam!*
Both evenly cut parts of the Shadow Panther landed on the grassy ground with a loud thud!
Following the splitting and subsequent defeat of the Shadow Panther, a few system notifications rang out inside Azmodeus's head.
