He paused for a moment, then continued in his distinctive electronic voice, "After you landed on this green part of our planet, full of water and resources, you thought this planet was completely uninhabited and had become yours to do with as you please. I don’t know why Gladious didn’t tell you about us, but your leaders knew.
What you don’t know is that you were asleep the whole time since you left Earth. While you were sleeping, Gladious, using his influence and power, built you a copy similar to the New Atlantis that was built in western Egypt. However, its construction was not completed because of our invasion of it.
"After repelling the invasion, they made an old version of it because the city’s resources had been exhausted in stopping the machines from advancing. You can notice the age of the buildings compared to before if you remember the true form of Atlantis.
"After that, your memories were erased by his tech, to make you think you were on planet Earth and that you had been living in Egypt all this time, so that you would not protest and ask to return to your home planet. He created false memories for you to keep you detained on this planet for the sake of humanity.

Keno felt there was some contradiction in his words, but his disturbed thoughts did not let him grasp it clearly. He saw that there was a real part in what he was saying and a part that he might have fabricated, but he could not determine which was correct and which was fabricated, and why he would lie to him and give him half the truth. He also considered the possibility that he was lying completely, because this talk differed somewhat from what the Enix had told him. But he knew that lying is a human trait and a trait of any living creature in general, and this made him even more confused, because this robot seemed alive from the inside in some way.
He decided that he would ask the Enix about all this after Leonis left, but for now, he would hear everything he wanted to say.
"So why do I have these strange abilities?" Keno asked. "I was also with some people with strange abilities like me, and we went through a deadly exam to get out of here. So why is that?"
Leonis stood up and paced back and forth.
"That’s another story I don’t know. But what happened is that you were genetically modified, and some strange things were added inside you that I know nothing about! As for his purpose in that, you will learn it shortly!"
Leonis was silent for a moment. He saw that Keno had become lost in thought, so he ignored him and continued his story.
"We were surprised that new creatures had landed on our planet, and the war between us and you began. The Zurix kidnapped many of your kind and performed many heinous experiments on them, the sight of which none of you could bear."
"The Zurix?" Keno interrupted, his attention drawn to the strange name he had mentioned.
Leonis replied as if he had expected this question, "I will tell you their story after I finish the first story. But they are the robots that are attacking you now, the silver-colored ones. As for us, we are called the Lunix, and we are gold-colored."
Keno’s confusion and curiosity grew, but he motioned for him to continue.
Leonis continued, "And so the Zurix performed all kinds of experiments on you without stopping until they had explored your depths. They began to launch destructive campaigns against you to drive you from this planet.
"Your leaders went to Gladious for help to save them from this unexpected danger. He told them that he would create a shield to protect them around the entire city, and at the same time, he would launch humanity’s most powerful project, which is the Super Soldier.
"He built eight towers around New Atlantis, and these towers had two missions. The first mission was to place the protective shield around the last city of humanity, and the second was for the eight super soldiers to be inside the towers in a coma and Gladious will wake them up one after one when needed.
"And you eight, of course, are the ones who won the death race you were talking about.
"But a malfunction occurred in the towers, and its main task was delayed for five years, due to the Zurix’ attack on New Atlantis and its destruction because of a breach that the humans had unintentionally made, which led to the opening of a passage in the energy shield. This led to being in big trouble.
"They tried contacting Gladious again, but they did not find him. He had placed the towers and gone somewhere. But he left some of his soldiers whom he entrusted with the truth and asked them to protect and guide the samples until they were ready, and he called them the Enix; masked individuals wearing black cloaks, with symbols of several planets engraved on the cloaks and a silver mask. But the most important thing of all is the next story."
Keno tried to comprehend every word Leonis said and tried to connect it to what he knew, but he found some contradictions and things that seemed like a fantasy. The echo of his story reverberated in his mind and fell into his heart from within, which caused him a lot of turmoil.
He said to himself, "The Enix work under the command of Gladious, but there is something strange! If what he says is true, then everything is a big lie! The world we live in is nothing but a big lie!
"When was I brought here, and when was I handed over to Gladious? when was I upgraded? What does Gladious really want? And why was I allowed to leave first, five years before the rest while entrusted with many secrets by the Enix, which now seem to be lies compared to what this robot is saying!"
"But how can I believe this robot? He is our enemy! He must be messing with my mind, for he is very intelligent and can also manipulate my psychology and create false stories, weaving them to look convincing to influence my feelings and guide me to the abyss.
"But what is his purpose in this? Have they lost hope of invading Atlantis again, so they are using deception now?"
Keno crossed his arms, then looked at Leonis, furrowing his brows.
"If what you say is true, then why are you telling me this? And why are you helping me now to know the truth? Isn’t your goal to get us out of here because this is your land and you don’t want anyone to share it with you?"
Leonis replied with his usual speed, "In fact, this is the question I was waiting for you to ask, and for which I told you all this, to get to this point: Why did I come to help you when you are my enemy?"
