Then they heard the two of them laughing together. This is the second time Malvin has spoken to her about outside work. Malvin's invitation to dinner was the first. Moreover, at this time Malvin was praising her beauty.
"You can call me Malvin when we're out of the office like this."

"Okay, we better start dinner now." invite Malvin to the dining table.

Now Malvin knew why his father always told him how proud his secretary was because it was true that Evelyn was worthy of being proud.
