Danner is in his element!
Look at him now, proud as a peacock he steps into the studio with my hand in his. The signal is clear: he is the victor, the loot is in.
I let him have his way, this is his moment. The interview at this TV station goes smoothly, this journalist is not really difficult and is less personal. I don't expect that at all with Alyssa later. She is a real gossip lady, her job is tailor-made for her. With this engagement, I already know that the date with Dordrich is going to be more of a trap than a charity.
Throughout this interview, Danner is the starring, telling lovesick how we met and we were inseparable after that. What he doesn't say is why he's been my regular partner all the years, that would make for a juicy story, I laugh to myself. He rambles on as I try to look at his profile lovey-dovey and kiss him once on the chin.
Danner's day can't get any better.
Oh well, the only thing I lose here is that I now have to freeze my new identity that I experienced with Aziel. And I still thought it was such a great experience. It is really a pity. I'm not the type of person to break a given word. Danner and I are officially now engaged, so I will abstain from sex with anyone else, or he will have to agree to it. Like that day with Alex.

This one clearly thinks she is important in my life, why would I want to wait for her, goes through me, while conjuring a sweet smile on my lips. "Where do you want to do the interview? Danner still has a company to run, you know". She points us back to the studio we came from. "I rented a room from them. So we can do the interview there."
Together we walk back, me hanging intimately on Danner's shoulders while he holds my hand tightly. When we're seated, I'm almost sitting on his lap, much to the delight of Alyssa, who clicks her camera intensely. "Beautiful Loriane, you play it really well. Everyone gets convinced".
Another ambiguous comment.
Finally, we start what we came here for. "You've been together for almost four years, why this engagement now and not earlier?", she begins. I totally understand the intent behind this question, I'm not dealing with this bitch as of today, right?! Danner comes in, he takes charge of the conversation again. "I knew from the beginning that she would be my future wife. But Loraine needed time to grow to be the woman she is now. An eighteen-year-old wants to experiment in her love life before committing, that's understandable", he replies laughing.
"But she also used her time usefully. Look what she has achieved, look who she managed to hook," he jokes. "You mean you're the best man for her?", Alyssa asks sweetly.
“Absolutely!”, he confirms with confidence.
“Have you also read the magazines in which she was spotted with other influential men? A few days ago, she was very intimate at an event with her old flame Aziel". This too, Danner laughs away, but I feel him stiffen for a moment. He hates Aziel and hearing his name in connection with me obviously doesn't do him any good. "I don't see Aziel around here. I'm sitting here next to her now, holding her in my arms and the ring is slipped on her finger by me," he replies triumphantly.
I snuggle closer to him, kissing him on the neck.
"And then Dordrich Fellogan. You were at the ball with her when she stared lustily at Dordrich. How did that feel to you?". My bag falls out of my hand in shock. This devil! Of course, she will drop the bomb. Despite my engagement to Danner, she clearly has no intention of dropping the Dordrich matter. I sit up and look straight at her.
"Mr. Fellogan is a happily married man. Why are you associating me with him? Such baseless comments sabotage other people's marriages. If Danner didn't know any better, my engagement would be blown too. May I remind you that I chose Danner?", I tell her unkindly.
"Is that really the case, Loraine? My information is different", she claims with a wicked grin.
"Tell me!" I challenge her.
Slowly she goes into her bag and takes out an envelope. When she throws it on the table between us, some pictures come half out. "Take a look. They are master compositions, and I can guarantee that they are original, taken on the spot."
I look from her to the envelope and back again. I don't trust this snake, but something tells me havoc is on the way. Still, I reach for it, unfold it all the way and stick my fingers in it to feel the photos.
To my horror I see in the first photo Dordrich and I in a close entanglement, I am half-naked and his hand is on one of my boobs. In the other he has my nipple in his mouth and my head is thrown back in ecstasy while my back is arched. These were obviously taken at the ball when we first met.
In the other photos Dordrich and I are in the parking lot of my company where he held me pressed against the wall as we kiss passionately. The most intimate is where I propped my hands against the wall as he pressed his erection against my ass.
The blood shoots to my face, I look at the photos in shock, my mouth drops open. Danner grabs the them from my hands and studies them one by one with a fierce face. He throws them all on the floor, grabs my hand and pulls me out of the building. At the car, he jerks open the door and pushes me into the passenger seat, then goes around and takes the driver's seat.
Without saying a word, he accelerates at high speed and races away. The ride continues in silence until we arrive at his country house half an hour later. I get out myself and follow him to the porch in the creek. We've been here before so I know my way around. Cautiously I sit on one of the patio chairs and wait for the eruption that will undoubtedly follow...
