He might as well kill some legendary monsters and see if he can seize their abilities, potentially becoming a powerful Supernatural entity himself.

Duncan knows this mythological figure as well, a very powerful witch with a romantic mind, who turned dark after being betrayed and abandoned by her husband, launching a series of revenge.
Overall, Medea does indeed have the reputation of being a witch, but ultimately she is a tragic figure.
Duncan wasn’t sure where the two of them had arrived, feeling like it might be near Munich, as from here one could directly overlook the snow-covered mountains.
Upon entering the Gaul regions within the mountains, it was Crow Queen Triss leading the way. The two avoided densely populated areas, trekking along mountain paths for a day and a night, eventually entering a lush and thick forest.
"Traveling in this era really isn’t convenient."
Because of the heavy rain yesterday, Duncan now had mud all over his feet, and Crow Queen Triss wasn’t much better off, with dust all over her face and no longer bearing the graceful and stunning appearance from before.
A person indeed relies on clothing, otherwise even a great beauty would look like a country bumpkin after rolling through mud.
Duncan now confirms that Crow Queen Triss has the physical attributes of an ordinary person, at most a bit stronger, because she slipped while entering the Alps. If Duncan hadn’t swiftly caught her, Triss might’ve sustained a minor injury.
However, her clothes were still covered in mud, and her golden hair was soaked with mud and rainwater, strands sticking to her forehead, revealing a smooth expanse.
"The guide you mentioned, they’re not living in the mountains, are they?"
The drizzle was still falling, drenching them and bringing a slight chill. Duncan, fortified by the ’Strength’ talent taken from the Barbarians, felt better. Still, Triss looked pale from the cold.
The witch said rather woefully, "They should be nearby."
Duncan didn’t bother to admire the curves revealed by her soaked clothes, and took off a coat scavenged from the dead, tossing it to her: "Put this on first."
"There’s a place ahead where we can shelter from the rain, let’s rest for a bit before searching."
Over a hundred meters away there was a slope, at a forty-five-degree angle, not really a cave, but just enough for the two to huddle underneath to avoid rain.
Perhaps due to inheriting the Barbarian Warrior’s talent, Duncan’s injuries were healing faster than expected, potentially aided by the witch’s collected herbs, or even possibly some Magic she cast on him.
"A witch is also just flesh and blood."
Looking at the bedraggled witch, Duncan let her sit further inside, his tall frame shielding them from the wind.
Unable to find dry kindling nearby to start a fire, Duncan glanced at the witch and said, "Rest here a bit, I’ll go over there and have a look."
Duncan found a spot with an unobstructed view, briefly meditated, and his consciousness entered the Dimension Space. Soon, the large map projected before his eyes.
"Can the map be expanded?"
With a thought, the terrain map of a dozen or so miles around appeared before him, and he located a village mark, then discovered a wooden house several miles away from their location.
