"Why a sword? What’s special about it?"
Zeno hadn’t told Netero about Shinsō’s abilities. Loki explained its ability to extend, omitting its Nen-enhancing properties in Shikai and Bankai.
Netero was relieved. Loki had followed his advice; the sword was suitable for mid-to-long-range combat. Enemies would assume it was for close-range combat, and it was good for preventing close-range attacks.
Netero’s frown eased.
"Will you continue developing Conjuration-type abilities, or..."
"No. I have an idea, but I don’t know if it’ll work."
Nen users usually develop one ability and improve it. Zeno constantly improved Doragon Heddo, lit. "Dragon-Head Caricature. But there are exceptions, like the Chimera Ant’s King, Meruem.
