Loki’s eyes flickered. His Nen erupted instantly. In close-quarters combat, there wasn’t time to fully gather his vast Nen reserves. He could only maintain parity with Silva. Given time, however, his Nen capacity would overwhelm Silva. Every second in battle is crucial.
Silva knew Loki’s Nen capacity was greater. He’d attacked continuously to prevent Loki from gathering Nen. Now, Silva aimed for a decisive blow. He knew he couldn’t match Loki’s Nen reserves, but his Nen potency was higher, compensating for the difference. A Nen-imbued attack would break Loki’s defenses.
"Loki, let’s decide this with one blow. Continuing would change the nature of the fight," Silva said, gathering Nen.
Loki nodded. "As you wish."
"They’re going to decide the winner? But they could keep fighting!" Leorio exclaimed, surprised that they were ending such an intense battle without fatal injuries.
Kurapika sighed. "It’s not a life-or-death fight. Continuing would mean fighting to kill, using full power."
"Full power?" Leorio looked at Kurapika. "They weren’t using full power? That’s impossible! Those attacks weren’t full power?"
"Leorio, Kurapika’s right. The fight was intense, but I didn’t sense killing intent. They weren’t using full power," Killua said.
"No way!" Leorio stared at them, shocked that such a powerful fight wasn’t at full power. The training ground was full of craters. Such destructive power wasn’t full power.
"Quiet. The final blow is coming," Killua said, feeling a strong gust of wind.
Before he finished, Silva moved. The ground sank. A huge roar echoed. Silva disappeared, not charging at Loki but leaping into the air. He gathered Nen in his hands. ’You can’t dodge a wide-range attack!’
He threw his Nen-imbued hands, which collided in mid-air, creating a more powerful blast. Loki’s Nen erupted. He didn’t know if Silva had special abilities with Nen spheres; he just threw them.
The colliding Nen created blinding light, engulfing the training ground. A deafening roar echoed.
After the light faded, Silva’s and Loki’s Nen exploded, creating massive cracks in the ground, spreading to Gon and the others’ feet.
Silva silently moved, using In to hide his presence, approaching Loki. He unleashed Nen, striking Loki’s neck with a hand chop.
Suddenly, Loki’s voice echoed.
"Aura—Hair Binding Technique!"
Loki’s hair writhed like snakes. Silva’s attack hit Loki, but his hair, imbued with Nen, grabbed Silva. Loki felt his neck bones cracking, but it was bearable.
Loki was moved by the impact, but Silva, enveloped by Loki’s hair, unleashed even more Nen, his nails extending into claws, aiming for Loki’s throat.
Whoosh! A breeze blew past.
Silva stared at Loki in disbelief. His claws were at Loki’s throat, but hair-spikes were at his head.
Sweat dripped from Silva’s face.
Silva’s eyes widened, looking at the young Loki. The impossibly long hair... he’d thought Loki hadn’t developed his Hatsu, but he had this technique. The hair, imbued with Nen, could pierce steel.
’He’s awakened his Hatsu! No, not fully. It’s a half-finished ability.’ Controlling hair wasn’t powerful unless it had special effects. Loki, not an Enhancement type, needed special effects to make it strong.
’I was forced to use full power!’ Silva grimaced. When his hair bound him, Silva used full power. If not, he would have been controlled. Loki, sensing the killing intent, gathered his Nen and transformed his hair into spikes aimed at Silva’s brain. Both stopped at the last moment.
Loki looked at the claws at his throat.
’An ability similar to Aura, controlling nail growth into claws. The Zoldycks are impressive!’ Aura is Rokushiki’s ultimate technique. Killua can also control his nails. Loki didn’t know the exact principle, but it was similar to Life Energy.
They stood still for seconds. Silva moved, struggling against Loki’s hair.
Silva lowered his hand; Loki retracted his hair.
"Shouldn’t it be a draw?" Loki thought it was a draw, but Silva conceded.
"No! This shouldn’t have been a full-power fight. I used full power first, so I lost."

Silva nodded. ’In ten years, this child will reach Netero’s level.’
Ten years seemed long, but it would pass quickly. If Loki knew, he’d say it wouldn’t take ten years. With enough missions and rewards, surpassing Netero would be easy.
Gon and the others ran over.
"Is it over?" Killua asked Silva.
Silva put his hand on Killua’s head. "Sorry, I lost."
"What? I saw you both stop..."
"Stopping simultaneously means I lost," Silva said seriously.
