Allan's Point of View
Three days. Three fucking unbearable days, but my mate still hasn't woken up. I can't eat well nor sleep because of her condition. I badly want to hold her in my arms. When I really find out who did this to her, I will make sure he suffers. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a thud.
I glanced at where my mate was and saw that she's already awake. I hurried over to her to help her stand up, but she swats my hands away.
"D-Don't h-hurt me, p-please," she said while trembling. Fear was visible in her beautiful eyes. I averted her gaze. I don't want to see her being afraid of me. It pains me seeing her like this, thinking that I will hurt her. My wolf whimpered; she's our destiny, our other half. I won't hurt her. I smiled at her.
"I will not hurt you. I'm here to help you," I calmly said to her and slowly held out my hand. She looked at it and back to me. She did it several times before she decided to take my hand. She flinched. I know she felt our bond, and she knows I'm her mate. I immediately hugged her tightly.
"I waited a long time to see you and be with you. I will not let you get hurt, my little mate," I said. She silently cried in my chest.
"T-They will k-kill me. He will k-kill me," she cried with a trace of fear in her voice. What did the bastard do that traumatized my mate? I clenched my hand into a fist.
"Who did this to you, darling? Tell me. I swear he won't lay his hands to you again," I calmly said to her while my heart feels like it was being gripped tightly. I'm in a rage. I want to kill all of them.
"H-He will h-hunt me! They…he won't let it slide!" she shouted. "Let me go! I need to find help!" she added while trying to get away from me. I hugged her and rubbed her back. She keeps punching my chest, and I let her be.
"Calm down, darling," I softly said. She was crying and trying to get out of my arms.
"I need the pack doctor! Right now!" I shouted through the mind link. Soon a few doctors came, something injected them into my mate, and she lost consciousness. I carried her and laid her on the bed.
"I believe she's experiencing extreme stress, Alpha. I need you to be by her side and gently explain it to her until she sees that you won't hurt. She's also in a new environment, and based on the wounds in her body, she's been tortured nonstop," the doctor explained to me.
"Damn it," I weakly said and sat down on the chair beside her bed. "Please leave me alone. Thank you, and I'm sorry for what I did the last time," I added. They smiled at me and nodded, quietly left the room. I leaned closed to my mate and kissed her on the forehead.
"D-Damien and Z-Zakir…w-will kill me. H-help me," my mate whispered in her sleep. I looked at her, but she never spoke again. She's having a nightmare. Damien and Zakir? I will find them.
"Don't worry, I will search every nook and cranny. I will protect you, my little mate," I whispered to her.
Marcus’ Point of View
"You're a tough one, huh?" Damien said while pulling my hair. Zakir stood beside him with his usual smug face. I cough. They keep on torturing me until I tell them where I sent Mary Mae, but I will not do that.
"Won't you really tell us where you are sending Mary!?" Damien asked, annoyed. Instead of answering, I smiled at him. Bastard! Whatever you do, I will not tell you what we talked about.
"Those useless hunters failed their job," he tsk-ed. "It's an easy order. Kill Marcus, but they can't even do it properly," he added.
"Zakir, what should we do with this guy?" he asked. Zakir looked at him.
"Do what you want," he replied. Damien grinned.
"As you wish," Damien said. "You know Marcus, Zakir saved me, giving me life with his power, and he wanted nothing but destruction," he added.
"Fuck you!" I cursed. "You h-hired those hunters. I-it's against t-the werewolves' law Damien," I told him weakly.
"So what? Against the law? I am rouge Marcus, and I have no law to follow," he told me. "Besides, I have a powerful wizard next to me," he added. He took the chain and slapped it on me.
"Hey, Marcus, if you hadn't annoyed me now, I won't hurt you," he said. He called two of his subordinate and ordered them to torture me once more. They put a big water drum in my cell. They helped me stand up and grabbed my head, dipping in inside the water drum. They'd do it from time to time. After that, they kicked me nonstop. My body felt numb. I feel nothing. Is this my karma? For hurting my mate, for making her feel unwanted for everything I've done? Well then, I think I deserved this.
