Chapter 10
The sound of alarming blaring woke a tired Nathaniel from sleep. After hearing Angelina's conversation yesterday with her father, he wished to comfort her but he didn't know how to go about it without making it awkward or like he was eavesdropping. Well, he was eavesdropping though. He cringed mentally when he thought of how he would look had it been that he was caught eavesdropping.
His heart broke for what she had passed through and he promised to make her forget her bad memories but the big question was how?!.
Another difference between his wife and his ex was that Clara talked out what she felt and he supported everything without missing a bit but how would he understand her if she didn't voice out. He was bad at understanding females generally.
He gripped his hair embarrassingly, getting up from his bed stark naked wobbly. He shook his, inhaled deeply as his morning member rose. He entered the bathroom not after swinging all the mess he did on the ground. His clothes were scattered, empty bottles and papers. His room reeked of whiskey.
He splashed water on his face to cool down the throbbing in his head. He thought of taking his bath before taking an Advil for his headache. He took his brush and paste, opening the cap gently as he pressed the middle of the paste in his brush then he returned the paste to its basket and put the pasted brush in his mouth, brushing his teeth to get the awful taste from his mouth.
When he was through with brushing, he walked to the bathtub that filled with water and slipped inside the warm scented water. He sighed and closed his eyes only for him to get the image of his wife's soft body and luscious lips. His eyes momentarily flew open, he groaned when he felt his risen junior harden than the normal morning rise.
"Oh fuck" he muttered, staring at his groin, under the water as it stood straight, showing its dominance with his prominent greenish veins. It twitched waiting for some friction and his precum leaked through its tip and mixed with the water. He removed his hands that were gripping the edge of the bathtub and trailed it down to his chest slowly before moving to his raging member, teasing and stroking it gently as he breathed softly with his mouth opened. He closed his eyes, imagined his beautiful innocent wife in his white shirt which reached her midnight, standing at the door with a seductive teasing smile as she unbuttoned the shirt painstakingly slow, bending down a little to show her boobs and then stuck out her tongue, wetting her lips sensually. "Daddy" he heard his wife call him in a slow whispered voice, biting her lips as she walked slowly to him. "Kiss me," he heard her say in his ear, making her breath tickle the nape of his neck. Her heavenly scent was alluring, diving him in the web of pleasure. He gripped her hair forcefully yet not painful to hurt her which elicited a moan from her scrumptious lips. He moved his head towards hers, angled it to have space so that he could plug his tongue to her already opened mouth and at that moment, the door to his room was knocked.
"Fuck!" he cursed loudly, still stroking his member, just a little friction he would explode, "shit!" the mental image he built up dispatched into nothingness as he came down from his high. He stood up from the water that his cum had mixed up with and went under the shower to clean himself.
After showering, he shaved his one-day-old stubble then wrapped a white towel fitted from his waist down and hung the other round his neck. He walked out of the bathroom, feeling relaxed and refreshed as a smile latched on his lips. He went to his closet, opened it, and stared at his hanged suits before taking one from his right side. He unhung it and threw it on the bed.
He wore a fitted boxer that hugged his brief perfectly as he wore his white long sleeves shirt. When he was through with dressing, he went to his study and took his briefcase before going to his wife's room then changed his mind and went downstairs. As he reached the last step, the maid had lined up in two rows while bowing to him as he nodded his head in acknowledgment, going to the dining table.
"Sir," his nanny who was also Clara's grandma called him softly. He could see the sadness and guilt in the woman's eyes. He wasn't angry with his nanny but he was angry with what her granddaughter did. He took a sliced bread, spreading the butter he took on it, taking a bit from it.
"Today is a good day" the maids mumbled among themselves as they watched their boss who looked like he cared less for his environment.
"Only God knows what has happened between him and his wife" a maid whispered while another one looked at her as if she had grown another head.
"Nothing happened" another maid butted in, "The lady is in her room" she added before scrunching her nose, "Thank goodness, the boss didn't marry Clara, only God knows what she would make us do" she cringed while others had a disgusting expression on their face.
After taking his three slices of bread, he drank his flavored coffee, tugging his tie very well before facing his nanny, and smiled brightly at her.
"Nana, my wife is upstairs sleeping" she informed her glancing at his wristwatch, "no one should disturb her. I mean a pin of stainless mustn't be heard to wake her" he ordered sternly, "And make her anything she wants to eat" he added.
"Bye," he waved his hand and went without glancing back.
The maids looked shocked at their boss retracting the figure. They haven't known what happened at the wedding scene and why their boss didn't marry his fiance again yet they were happy that he didn't marry him though but their boss leaving his wife alone a day after their wedding was unheard of and was absurd.
