^The next day ^
Emily pov’s
“Ewww” I yawned stretching my hands on the bed.
“Ouch my head hurts” I said lowly placing my hands on my forehead.
“Why am I having a hungover” I thought.
“I didn’t drink last night”.
Oh damn where are my pills I asked myself.
I stretched my hands to my cupboard close to my bed and drew the drawer open.
With my eyes close I put my hand inside the drawer searching for my pills.
“Ouch” I half yelled.
I found the pills and gulped it hurriedly in my mouth.
I walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
I open the fridge an took a bottle of water then I poured some into the glass cup.
I gulped the content in the cup and pushed down the drugs.
Hmm I mumbled walking back to my room to freshen up.
As I walked through the hallway I felt a lot better.
The pain reduce drastically and I flutter my eyes wide open
I quickly dashed to the bathroom brushed my teeth.
I got to my jacuzzi tub to see that my bath was ready already.
“Hmm” I moaned as I got in to the jacuzzi tub.
Damn the bath was cooking my nerves so much.
I closed my eyes for and took the sponge and begin to wash myself up.
After the bath I felt so much better
So I walked to my room dripping wet with my towel around my body which stops at my thighs…
I went to my dressing table and begin to cream my body slowing adorning myself.
When I was done I open my closet and took out my office wears.
I was looking spectacular,but I stare at myself once more checking out myself.
I was satisfied with my looks, so I grabbed my bag from the dressing table and walked out.
I walked downstairs to see the maids moving about doing their job well.
I decided to walk up to Eva’s room and to know if she’s ready for school.
I got to her room and pushed the door open slightly popping my head through the hole from the opened door.
She sighted me from her dressing room where her nanny was brushing her hair.
“Mummy” she said glaring.
“You didn’t knock before entering my room what if I was naked?” she added in a serious tone.
I stared at her susprised at this little girl outburst.
“Oh really, mommy is sorry” I said rolling my eyes.
“Her nanny bursted into laughter nd I joined her too but eva remain quiet staring at us like we were wiredo’s.
“Aren’t you going to greet your mom” I said folding my hands.
“Good morning mama” she muttered.
“Baby, hope you slept well I asked”
“She nodded her head affirmatively” making me smiled.
“Are you still angry with mommy” I asked eva we both walked downstairs but she ignored.
“Okay am sorry, I would knock on your down next time” I said crossing my heart and I saw a smile firm on her face.
We both went to the dinning and breakfast was already served by the maids, so we set out to eat.
It was bacon, fried eggs and pancakes.
“Yummy” eva said clasping her hands together ready to devour the food.
“Hmmmm” I bemoaned as I tasted the pancakes.
You enjoying your meal I stared at Eva while she giggled.
We both l eat sliently afterwards until Eva broke the silence ..
Mom can we go to the ice cream store today , I really want to see Evans again she stated rushing her words.
“No talking in the dinning baby” I said sighing heavily.
She nodded sadly.
After breakfast I dropped Eva at school and went to my company.
I arrived and the workers greeted me
But I ignored them as usual and walked elegantly to my private elevator without sparing anyone of them a glance.
I got out and went to my office after replying my secretary greetings.
She followed me in to my office briefing me on today schedule.
I went through them and dismiss her
I turned on my laptop and started to work on some files
Later my secretary called using the office landline to inform me about the presence of my manager from one of my fashion firms.
“Okay send her in” I said over the phone before hanging up.
“Hmm” I sighed stretching my neck.
I heard a knock on my door and I knew who it was immediately.
“Come in” I mumbled.
The door open and the manager walked into my office with a briefcase.
She greeted me warmly
And I gestured for her to have a seat.
After sharing some formalities we headed Straight to business.
She showed me some paperwork and also enlighten me on the progress of the firm.
I was very impressed with her work.
We later discuss about new design.
She showed me some new design she has and I rejected a whole lot of them and ask her to create new ones
We also talked about our newly signed models and some other contracts.
I was highly impressed with her hard work and happy about the progress the firm was making.
According to her report we are at the 5 best top fashion firm in american.
I praised her for a job welldone and told her to keep on with the improvement.
After much talked.
I dismiss her.
It was lunch time and I left my office to go grab something to eat.
I decided to do to Starbucks since it been a while I went there.
I ignite the engine of my car and left
Still driving I received a text from my secretary reminding me of my appointment with Mr jones.
I read without concentrating on the road
I heard screamed from afar
I turned my head to see a little boy running in my direction
Geez what…….
Oh no am going to hit him Ahhh
I hurriedly step on my brake but I was too late as I hit a guy who saved the boy.
The car came to halt abruptly
I jumped out of the car to see who saved the child.
I stared in shock, why is this man face so familiar
Huh???
Isn’t it the waiter from the ice cream store??
Oh no . ……
