Yugo sent me the contract a day after our first meeting. I signed it and sent it back to him. He said that he already got a shoot for me this coming weekend and I was more than excited. Wade and I have been married for eight months now and my last gig was ten months ago. Wade entered the room and I immediately told him the good news.
"Hey babe," I said. He was already set to go to work and we were done having breakfast.
"Yes?" He said as he sprayed perfume on him.
"I signed the contract that Yugo sent me and he said that he got a schedule for me." I said happily.
"Wow, that was fast," He said and gave his full attention to me. "When will it be?"
"It's going to be this coming weekend. He said that it's a whole day event with photoshoot in the morning and fashion show in the evening." I said.
"That's great! I am definitely going to be there supporting my gorgeous wife." He said and kissed my lips.
"Anyway, I have to met with the other models for rehearsals today." I said.
"Alright," He said. "Please bring Logan with you so that I won't have to worry."
"Okay," I said. "Agreed."
"Good." He said and kissed me again. "Can you fix my tie please?"
"That's why I am here. I'll forever fix your tie." I said jokingly.
"Thanks babe," He said.
"There you go," I said. "Have fun at work."
"I'll see you later. Update me, okay?" He said. "I have to go."
He kissed me one last time before he went to the door and out if our room.

I prepared for my rehearsals after I checked with Yugo regarding the scheduled time. He said that it will start at one pm so I took an early lunch and hit the road. Well, I wasn't really the one who was driving. It was Logan. He is now my personal bodyguard and I have to bring him wherever I go. It's going to be my first time working with him so I had to give him a good impression. Plus, being a professional means being on time. I was glad when I found out that Erin would be a part of it as well.
I arrived at the venue and no matter how much I wanted Logan to just wait for me on the car, he wouldn't do it so I just let him be. I entered the studio and immediately saw Yugo.
"Hey, you're impressive dear, you came early." He said and greeted me. He looked over my shoulder and I know who he was looking at. "Who is that hot guy you came here with?"
"Oh, that's Logan, my personal bodyguard." I said. "I hope you won't mind that he's here."
"No, I don't. Actually, I liked looking at him. He's so hot!" He said. I laughed a bit with him. Yeah, Logan isn't bad. He's tall and intimidating yet handsome and hot as Yugo said but I only have my eyes on Wade and no one else.
"Thanks Yugo," I said. "Anyway, is Erin here already?"
"Not yet, but she's on her way already. She'll be here any minute, you and your bodyguard can take your seats over there while we wait for the others." He said. "I envy you girl, you are surrounded with hot and handsome men."
I shook my head and laughed at his remark. "I guess I am."
"By the way, is your husband coming?" He asked..
"I don't think so, you know, he's quite busy." I said.
"Yeah of course, that's what CEOs are." He said laughing. "Anyway, I'll leave you now and as I said you can wait on the chairs over there. I need to call some of my talents."
I nodded and watched him leave. I looked around me. I missed this setup. I missed smiling in cameras and posing for magazines. I called Logan and told him that we can sit while we're waiting for others. I sat at the front chairs while Logan sat behind me, keeping his distance. Honestly, Logan could pass as one of the models here. He has the qualifications for one but I doubt he's interested in things like this.
Minutes later, people were coming in and out of the venue and I was starting to get nervous. Models were arriving and I couldn't help but compare myself to them. I know this isn't my first time but it sure felt like it. I shrugged my thoughts and breathe out. I need to focus and not compare myself to others. I saw Erin walked inside the venue and she immediately saw me. I waved at her and she waved back. I stood up and went to her but not without telling Logan to stay and wait for me where he was seated.
"Hey, I was so glad to know that we're working on this together." I said. I looked at her but she was looking at someone behind me. I trailed her vision and she was looking at Logan. Logan? Why is she looking at him? I nudged her.
"What?" She said. She was clearly uneasy and nervous. Why would she be? This isn't her first time and she has been doing this for years now.
"Who were you looking at?" I said. He can't be looking at Logan, they don't know each other. She might have saw something else that caught her attention.
"Oh, nothing," She said and shook her head. "Were you here early?"
"Yeah," I said and nodded. "I didn't want to give Yugo a bad impression of me."
"Well, you certainly did not," She said. "He said he liked your professionalism and he wasn't wrong when he signed you in."
"Really? Yugo said that?" I said unbelievably.
She nodded and I smiled in fulfillment. I did what I had to do and didn't disappoint him.
"Anyway, have you met the others?" She said.
"No, I was just sitting there with Logan, my personal bodyguard, waiting for you and the others." I said.
She looked at Logan who I was pointing and sighed. "Come on, let me introduce you to some of my friends here. They are new in this business, started a few months after you took off."
"Are our old colleagues going to be here?" I said. I had friends before as well but mot as close as I was to Erin.
"I don't think so," She said. "Oh, I think Matt will be here. I saw his name on the list outside."
Matt is our co-model from our old agency. Erin transferred to another when I stopped modelling and when the company was disbanded. Matt and I are friends, not the super type of friendship but we were good.
"Really? That's good. At least I have someone I know." I said.
"Come, I'll introduce you to some of my friends." She said and pulled me towards a bunch of models.

"Cami!" I heard someone called me from behind. Erin and I were still talking to other girl models atvthat time. I turned around to see who it was and my face brightened when I saw. A familiar face.
"Matty!" I said and walked towards him. He walked towards me too and hugged me dearly.
"How have you been?" I said when we let go of each other.
"I'm good," He said. "How are you? I thought you'll never do modelling again."
"I thought so too," I said. "But you see, I'm here."
He laughed and nodded, "Yeah, yeah, how's the married life?"
"It's great," I said. "How about you? How's Meli?" Meli or Melissa is his girlfriend when we last saw each other.
"We're still good, going strong," He said and I could see how happy he is.
I nodded, "That's good. I'm happy to know that."
He smiled, "Anyway, I am happy to see you here. It's been ages."
"Hey guys," Erin said and appeared behind Matt. "Hey Matt, nice to see you again."
"Hi Erin, it's good to see you too." Matt said.
We were talking about updates in each other's lives when the coordinator spoke.
"We will start with the rehearsals in ten minutes. If you have to use the restroom, do it now and do it fast. We won't wait for anyone." She said. We nodded and made our way to the stage where we'll practice for the fashion show.
