Evans smiled back and sealed her lips with his kisses, that was when his doubt was cleared.

Andre and Arianna came and hugged each of them.
"Kate, you scared us ,so bad, especially Evans,"Arianna sobbed, smiling broadly in relief.
"I am sorry for that Ari".
She turned her neck slowly to face Andre.
"Thanks for your help, young master".
"Please Andre is the name".
Andre hugged Arianna again happily as they watched Evans' moment with Kate.
Evans went on his knees. They didn't suspect a thing till he pulled out a ring, their jaws dropped.
Kate was watching the two wondering why the reaction,then she turned to Evans ,her eyes widened.
"Kate…will you marry me?"
Kate suddenly drew a noisy breath like an asthmatic patient and stopped breathing, which scared Evans to death.
He got up immediately and shook her.
"Kate…Kate!"
"I am fine! I am fine, just surprised! And yes …yes I will marry you!"
She cried out happily.
Evans held his chest in relief.
Andre and Arianna with the nurses that witnessed the moment, applauded them , beaming in smiles.
The two kissed and kissed till everyone had to leave the room for the two to be more comfortable with their smooching.*********
Arianna waited patiently sitting at the table with only a bottle of water served.
The only thing she had requested after all. Andre sat at the table by the extreme making funny faces and trying to hit on her.
She would smile and laugh.
The other table couples who noticed thought they are strangers flirting.
Just then Tianna walked into the room, her stomach had grown enough to be noticeable under her extra large T shirt.
Arianna felt her gut tightened at the sight of her.
"Hy"Arianna spoke first.

She muttered and sat down, unable to meet Arianna's eyes.
After minutes of awkward silence, Arianna spoke first again.
"You look beautiful with the baby bump".
Trying to maintain eye contact.
"Thanks"Tianna smiled, her eyes became wet at that instant.
"Arianna I am very sorry ..I.."
"Please Tianna,I didn't call to ask you questions, I called you to apologize,I was harsh too"
"Harsh? After all that I did to you, that's not true".
She snapped in disbelief and broke down in tears
Arainna hugged her,pecked her cheek.
"It's nice to hug you again Tianna, but where is Max?"
Cleaning her wet face,she sniffed.
"Max decided not to come to Ari, he said he is cutting off all ties for the best, he can't stand the guilt".
Tianna replied.
"That's not true, if he really wanted my forgiveness,he should meet me, I can't forgive him when he is not here"Arianna replied deeply offended.
She felt bad about Max's decision, she won't forgive herself either if he lives the rest of his life hiding away from her.
"Let's give him a call".
Tianna suggested.
Max was outside, he drove Tianna to the place, they had lived together after he found out about his baby.
Tianna said for the child's sake even though she still loves him, but she was in denial feeling guilty for her jealousy move resulting in Arianna's misfortune.
Arianna nodded in agreement.
"Hello, hope she is good?"
He answered immediately like she had been expecting the call.
"She is good, I will give Arianna the phone now".
Arianna rejected it.
"Just tell him what I said, I can't forgive him if I don't see him".

Tianna spoke to the phone.
"I did, I will come in right away".
Max replied slowly.
He drew a deep breath and relaxed his nervous fingers,then got out of the car.
He walked into the restaurant and found them.
Arianna waved at him with a smile, it put him a bit at ease.
As soon as he got to the table,he spoke out his heart.
"Arianna I …..have to live with this shame, I deserve it".
"I forgive you Max".
He tried not to tear up but couldn't.
He hugged her tightly.
Tianna smiled at them and joined them.
