Angela came out from nowhere to congratulate her for being engaged to Edwin. She hugged her tightly.
"Girl! You're getting married!" Angela squealed. "You know, I totally knew about the engagement and I shipped you guys! I gave him all the assurance he needed! You should have seen him. He was a sorry mess."
Jessica glared playfully at her. "Oh so you knew and you refused to tell me? I knew something was fishy about the sudden request to go out."
Edwin laughed and pulled her closer to his side. Before she could refute it, he turned her and kissed her deeply. Jessica's face went a very dark shade of red and she didn't know where to keep her face after being kissed like that in public.
"Pervert." She muttered.
"Baby, your husband to be? You call me a pervert? Do you know what this pervert can do to you?" He whispered. "I could make you scream, and in a good way."
"Ahhh!" Jessica screamed and pushed him away, only to have him pull her back. Edwin held her tightly as if she was going to disappear.
"Awwnn!" Angela cooed. Roy was standing beside her. "You guys need a room already. Go on, we won't interrupt. Abby, Gabby, let's go over to Grandma's! Your uncle Tristan and Aunty Kristen are back!"
Jessica watched how her kids easily betrayed her. She tried to stop them from going.
"Kids, don't you want a younger sibling?" Edwin asked wickedly. Gabby and Abby gasped, staring at each other.
"We want! I want a little sister I can play dress up with!" Abby said.
"I want a little brother I can play ball with!" Gabby said.
"Give us twins daddy!" They said together. "Just like us."
Edwin smirked at Jessica. "Your mother doesn't want to follow me home to make babies," Edwin said, still looking at Jessica.
Jessica's face contorted. "Don't listen to him. Edwin, don't utter such rubbish to the kids."
Angela laughed at her embarrassed face. She took the kids with her and Roy, leaving Jessica and Edwin.
Jessica ignored him and went to the car. She sat in the passenger seat. Since he could play dirty, then he could also drive.
Edwin could tell she was mad. He chuckled as he sat behind the wheel.
He drove home very quickly. He couldn't wait to get his hands on her.
Once they arrived, Jessica got out of the car and hastily made her way inside. Edwin smirked at her. He knew exactly how to get her attention. So he tried running after her and then stopped abruptly.
"Ow!" He cried, holding his shoulder. That little sound had Jessica running towards him immediately. Once she got close, he grabbed her waist, chuckling as he did.
"Look who came back to get eaten." He teased.
"Edwin you're wounded." She said.
"I'm not. I'm horny." He said.
Jessica slapped his shoulder then she realized herself and rubbed it softly.
"Don't say such shameless words." She scolded lightly.
"Jessica, if you say you do not want me, I will leave you alone. I won't disturb you until you want me." Edwin said seriously.
Jessica stared up at him. She couldn't say she didn't want him. She wanted him too. She loved him and her body yearned for him in the ways she had, before the past happened.
She reached up to him and planted a soft kiss on his lips. She had intended it to be a short kiss to answer his question, but along the line, they both got into the kiss.
Edwin's hand slipped from her waist to cup her bottom. He lifted her and carried her from the sitting room to the bedroom where he laid her on the bed slowly, hovering over her.
Jessica stared up at him. She pulled him in for another kiss.
Edwin moaned into the kiss. He had missed her for so long. Having her underneath him turned him on to a high point.
His hands were roaming all over her body just like her hands were on him too. It was like they couldn't get enough of each other.
Edwin paused in his movements to watch her expression.
"Jess, do you want to go through with me? It's okay if you don't want to, I understand." Edwin said.
"How can you bring me to this point and ask me if I want to stop? Did you really expect me to say yes?" Jessica demanded.
"No, baby. But I will understand if you cannot go through with me. I know I messed up too much and-"
"Edwin, you're missing the point. If I ever wanted to say no, I would have said no to your proposal."
Edwin smiled at her. "So you've forgiven me totally?"
"Uh-huh. I don't think you're strong enough for this though."
Edwin smirked. He sat up and took his clothes off. He pulled her up as well and took her clothes off. Jessica felt shy being naked under his gaze, but when Edwin kissed her, everything felt right.
Edwin showed no mercy to her. In fact, the strength he had used made her doubt that the bullet had caused any major injury to him and that he must have been pretending all the while. She had to beg him to stop. She was tired already, but each time he stroked her, she would begin to want him again, and strength from nowhere would seem to enter her.
