Edna and Faith return to the room a little later. They are chatting and laughing and I just lay on my bed pretending to be asleep.
Honestly, today makes no sense. All this drama is killing me and I don't want to be a part of it anymore.
Edna and Faith believe I am sleeping so they don't bother me till I fall asleep. When it's evening and I have finally woken up, they ask me about last night and I still have no recollection of it.
They tell me not to overthink it and that it might come back to me. It could, but I hope it won't be too late when I eventually recall.

I have few classes today so I am free. As for Faith, she has Catering and Edna, cheerleading.
I am walking past the basketball court and this is possibly a very big mistake. As I know I only doing this t see Nathaniel. I spot him playing basketball and I just can't take my eyes off him.
He looks beautiful. He turned 17 on Monday and his manly structure is to die for. His jersey is hugging his masculine body tightly and how he plays with much gusto and enthusiasm, practically makes me drool.
I snap out of my trans when he suddenly turns around to look at me after one of his friends signaled him in my presence.
I make to start walking when all of a sudden, he takes a fall. The whole court is alarmed and the coach rushes to examine him.
The coach tells him that he is excused from the class and should get some rest as he had injured his leg.
Once I see he is okay, I increase my pace and I do not bother to look back. Although I know someone is strong on my trail.
A few feet away from the canteen, I hear Nathaniel call my name but I don't stop.
He runs up to me and drags me to a corner. Then I realize he wasn't injured but just acted to get away from class.
"Why are you ignoring me? "He asks in worry.
"Why shouldn't I? It's not like you gave me a choice. " I spit at him.
I don't know why or how, but my relationship with Nathaniel has started becoming toxic.
I don't know if it is because I fear he took advantage of me, or because I feel him just like Victor doesn't see me as more than a friend but doesn't know how to let me know... So as not to hurt me.
"Jade, stop treating me like this! " he screams as he throws his hands in the air in frustration.
"Then what do you want me to do Nath? You are confusing me. You told me you're guilty but I don't know what for. Then you start keeping your distance! What do you want me to do? You are creeping me out! " I spill.
He minimizes the space between us and I am looking up at him. He is so close that his lips would touch mine if he bends his knees well enough.
"I didn't mean to scare l you Jade. I'm sorry, it's just... I.... We... I mean I.... " he begins to stutter.
"We what? " I question with wide eyes. I am scared. I pray from the depths of my heart that he is not about to tell me that we had s*x.
He looks at me and his look is beyond surprised, shocked If you ask me.
"No. No. No. Jade hell no! It's not that. " he screams and I am relieved.
He slowly withdraws.
"Do you honestly think I would do that to you? " he asks. His voice is as low as possible.
I keep silent as I know my answer and there is no need to lie cause he knows I did think so.
"Jade I kissed you! Not once, and not twice either. "He screams and he averts his gaze to a nearby tree to avoid seeing my expression.
I feel my lips part slightly and my eyes widen. I just stare at him not knowing what to do or say. My silence is a go-ahead for Nathaniel.
"I am sorry, I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't help it. I just...I just. You just... I just felt more attracted to you and you just... Just like magic, you kept pulling me towards you. You're just so beautiful and innocent I... " he begins but stops to look at me.
My face still bears the same expression as before and I have no idea what to do or say.
He comes closer to me and holds my hand.
"Jade say something. " he pleads.
"That was my first. "I manage to mutter under my breath and he heard it.
"I know... And I'm sorry. Look, I understand if you don't want to talk to me after this, but I am sorry and I didn't mean to hurt you, Jade. " He apologizes again.
He stands there for a few more seconds waiting for me to say something. When he sees I am silent, he makes to leave but I don't let go of his hand. He turns to look at me I'm confused.
"It's okay Nath, I'm not mad at you. Although I should be. "I reply honestly and then give him a warm smile.
"Oh thank God! " He exhales before pulling me into a bear hug. He keeps me wrapped in this hug for longer than I expect.
As he releases me, my eyes catch his and I take my time to study those deep brown eyes. So beautiful and full of life.
I have forgotten that I am starring till his hand rests on my lower back and he begins to lower his head. Till his lips are on mine. I want to jerk away but for some reason, I fell rooted to the spot, and although my subconscious is telling me to move away, my mind is telling me to say put and that is exactly what I do.
That soft burn in my chest returns and I feel it intensify as I close my eyes.
I feel Nathaniel's lips dance with mine and I don't reject his kiss. This may not be my first kiss, but it sure is going to be a memorable one.
