"Don't move," Bai Muhai warned, his voice taut. "Twitch one finger, and I'll kill them."
Chu Hao's eyes turned glacially cold. He started to take a step forward.
A gunshot rang out. Ju Desheng screamed as a bullet tore through his left shoulder.
Bai Muhai's expression was ferocious. "Kid, I told you not to move! Otherwise, I'll kill him!"
Chu Hao's anger intensified.
Bai Muhai's heart pounded. This kid is too damn strange. The twenty-odd desperados I brought, every single one a hardened killer, couldn't even handle him.
It was clear they couldn't deal with him today. "Withdraw!" he ordered.
With that, the whole group scrambled into their vehicles, dragging Zhang Qin'ai and Ju Desheng with them.
Bai Muhai looked back at Chu Hao, his voice cold. "If you want to save them, come to Three Leaves Villa tomorrow."
Watching them leave, Chu Hao's anger reached its peak.
The middle-aged man who had been holding one of the hostages didn't understand. "Boss, why are we leaving? We could have used those two to threaten him."

The middle-aged man was horrified.
