It was like a proper ship like the ones he used to see in his previous world but still there were two questions that aroused in Noah's mind at that moment.

If you are that lazy, Why not make a flying carpet instead.
And the second thing was why were these things made out of wood?
What if they caught fire? Is their fire resistance array that strong? Aren't all of the skills in this world basically bombarding skills?
Why not make it out of metal instead? Even the most basic metal has more fire resistance than wood has.

Seeing his pondering look, Yu Ming could not help but ask. Only then did he come out of his thoughts and saw that the City Lord and his family were making their way towards the artifact through a staircase that magically appeared.

Xin Yan did not think too much and followed behind him as walked towards the ship as well.
Yu Ming, seeing their reaction, also followed silently, not paying much attention to it.
But Elysia had been silently keeping an eye on Noah noticing his every move. She could see that he was a little interested in this artifact.

Arriving on the deck Ma Li looked around the ship with starry eyes. Shi Jie also moved around a little before calmly sitting down in a place with Xin Yan and Yu Ming. She was more interested in gossiping than looking at the ship she had already seen.
Yu Ming wanted to sit with Noah but she was dragged away by Shi Jie along with Xin Yan.
Ma Mingli was looking at the place where he had to fill the spirit stones with a dead look in his eyes, all hope seemed lost to him…
The reason he brought the previous boat out was that It didn't need that much Spirit stones to operate.. But this ship….

The city Lord waved his hand and dumped a huge pile of materials in the array.

As the energy from the stones was poured into the arrays, the whole ship hummed and the formation turned, activating one by one according to their sequence.
Noah's soul sense was already covering the whole ship, his eyes were in every nook and cranny looking at the formations to see what he could learn from them.
Soon the ship started to float before Ma Mingli controlled it to fly in the direction of their destination.

With a blasting sound the ship shot forward at an incredible speed. The ship easily broke the barrier of sound in an instant. They were steadily moving away from the Golden Edge City while flying along the edge of the forbidden forest.
'This speed is similar to that of a Core formation cultivator at full speed. No wonder that guy is crying tears of blood.'
Ma Mingli had already given up on life and enjoyed the scene as tears streamed from his opened eyes.
Noah felt a little weird seeing such a grown up man crying like that.
Ignoring him, Noah just started looking at the array formations on the boat trying to see how long it would take him to make one of these.
'Do you want me to get one of these for you, dear?' Suddenly Elysia's voice rang in his mind. Hearing the alluring question in her sweet voice, he could not help but become a little tempted.
But then he shook his head thinking that he did not have enough strength to protect such high level artifacts. He wanted to travel in these artifacts not trying to keep them as a showpiece and besides he did not want low level ones like the one the city lord took out previously.
That thing looked so ugly, that Noah almost turned around to go back, there was no way he would be sitting in one of those unless necessary.
'Leave it, I want to try creating one myself.' Since she knew Noah's nature, Elysia did not say anything and just sat beside him while leaning her head against his shoulder.
With their speed it did not even take them an incense worth time before they arrived at their destination.
As soon as they arrived Noah's eyes landed on the Two boats and a huge Flying crane Beast standing in the middle of an open field. The two boats were larger than what Ma Mingli took out previously but they were still a little odd to look at.
Noah could see a trace of qi on the flat ground, it looked like someone leveled the area for these forces to land. All the threes and stones were cut off from the area to create a way for them to land.
The whole field was swarmed with people that looked like ants from high in the sky. Everyone's eyes were fixed on the humongous flying ship in the air, looking at the huge ship with awe and jealousy.
The jealous ones were mostly the head and elders of the sect.
