It was pretty late at night, probably almost midnight. Bryan was still in his office, trying to distract his thoughts from the last conversation he had with Henry over a week ago by overworking himself. Ever since his best friend told him about the promise he made to his late wife, he has been distraught. He barely ate, he couldn’t sleep, he hardly concentrated during working hours, it was like his entire being was having a meltdown.
So, in order not to seem weak and vulnerable in front of his employees, he feigns anger during the day and buries himself in work at night when he finds it hard to get some sleep. That is why he is currently the only one in his company building, besides the security officers.
A furious knock on his office door tore his attention away from his laptop. Apart from his son, his chauffeur and the company security officers, no one else knows that he’s in his office.
So, who is this uninvited guest?
And why show up at this hour? Bryan thought to himself as he stood up from his chair to see who it was and what he wants.
He was shocked when he opened the door and saw Amy standing in front of his office with nothing but a bottle of water in her hand. She was wearing a sexy black mini dress, her make up had smudged from crying, her hair looked like she had ran her fingers through it a million times before getting here.
What happened to her?
Before he could open his mouth to say anything, a stranger who he didn’t notice was standing beside Amy, spoke up.
“Excuse me, sir. This lady owes me ten bucks. She promised I’d get it when we get here”
He must be the driver who brought her here.
“Do you know what happened to her?” He finally asked, reluctantly tearing his eyes away from a disheveled Amy.
“I have no idea. She rushed into my cab in tears, like she was running away from someone inside the club” the man explained.
Club. What was she doing at a club?
She promised him three years ago that she wasn’t going to go to any party, so why did she decide to break that promise now?
Does she hate him that much?
After their phone call on the night of the engagement, Amy has refused to pick any of his calls. He had wanted to tell her about his conversation with Henry, but Amy didn’t want to have anything to do with him, so he stopped trying to reach her.
Now, she shows up after going to a nightclub. Is she trying to aggravate him?
He gave the cab driver a hundred dollar bill and asked him to keep the change. The man was flabbergasted. He thanked Bryan over and over again before leaving their presence with a wide grin.
As soon as the man was out of sight, Amy engulfed Bryan in a hug, crying into his chest.
“I missed you so much, Bryan. I missed you so much” she mumbled into the hug, tightening her grip around his torso.
Inhaling his cologne after so long made Amy feel at home. For days now she has been yearning to be in his arms, to feel his touch, to feel him inside her, even though she was mad at him, she couldn’t help but want him at the same time.
To satisfy her sexual urge, Amy began unbuttoning Bryan’s shirt, pressing her lips against his chest.
“Amy, stop this. You’re drunk” Bryan said, gently pulling away from her embrace. He caught a whiff of alcohol when she leaned forward.
“I may have a low tolerance for alcohol, but I promise you, I’m not drunk… I need you, Bryan” she replied, whispering the last part as she resumed kissing his chest.
“Tell me what happened to you” he held both her hands to keep her in place, preventing her from continuing her action.
He wouldn’t deny that he had missed her touch, the feeling of her smooth bare skin against his, her moans, her nails digging into his skin and above all, her soft plump lips. But he can’t give into the temptation, not with everything that has been going on.
“I can’t”
“You promised never to go to anymore parties, but what do you do? You go to a nightclub… Are you trying to irritate me? To get me mad at you?” He asked with an edge to his voice.
“I won’t be here if that were the case” Amy removed her hands from his grip, running her fingers through her hair.
She ought not to be here, after his betrayal, but her heart and body says otherwise as she desperately craved his touch.
Why can’t she control her feelings like he does? Why does her emotions betray her so much?
She ignored him for days because she wanted him to suffer, but things didn’t work out as planned, since she’s the only one suffering in the end. She burst into tears for no reason in particular. It was like her emotions were everywhere, probably because she was reminded of the near rape incident three years ago.
Bryan quickly took her in his arms to soothe her, but that wasn’t what Amy wanted. She needed him in an intimate way, so she wrapped her arms around his neck and slammed her lips on his for a passionate kiss. She didn’t think he’d kiss back but he did, with equally the same passion. He secured his arms around her small frame to bring her closer towards him. Their lips fought for dominance, but like always, Bryan won.
Amy instinctively took off his shirt and ran her fingers down his chest to his belt. In a matter of seconds, Bryan’s belt was on the floor. Amy then proceeded to the zipper on his pants, fumbling with it.
Bryan’s hands were everywhere, like he was memorizing her body all over again. They settled on her butt, under her dress, giving it a light squeeze before moving to the back of her thighs. Amy got the hint and wrapped her legs around his torso without breaking the kiss.
He walked them towards a door linking his office to a bedroom, where he usually spends the night if he works too late at night. There Bryan and Amy fulfilled their sexual desires to the fullest.
