Chapter: 4 Plan Backfired
I walked into the classroom the following day dressed in a black top, a blue denim jacket, and white jeans. I again walked over to Jonathan's desk like an idiot; it was as though he had some sort of magnetic pull over me. He was driving me insane.
"Am I losing my mind?" After realising I shouldn't go to him, I came to a halt and questioned myself.
When I turned around, I collided with a girl, and my bag fell to the floor. “Fuck! My life.” Before bending down and picking up my bag, I cursed my life. I dashed to the desk, far away from him.
"Thankfully, he didn't notice me." I sighed and murmured in relief, closing my eyes and resting my head against the desk.
I opened my eyes and immediately thought of calling Nora and Amir because they were late. When I looked into my bag, I discovered that my phone had gone missing. I quickly moved my gaze under the desk where Jonathan was sitting and, unfortunately, I found my phone there.
“Shit! Why did my phone have to fall under his desk? Why are you torturing me, God? I'm doing my best to ignore him. You know how difficult it is for me." I muttered to myself before rising from my desk.
I took slow steps to his desk, my heartbeat quickening with fear and my fingers twitching nervously.
As his eyes landed on me, a frown appeared on his face.
"So you want to create the scene once more today. I have no idea what kind of girl you are. I'm telling you to stop meddling in my life because I have no interest in you, but you don't seem to get what I'm trying to say." Ignoring his harsh words, I rolled my eyes and knelt to pick up my phone.
"What are you doing under my table? I am warning you to leave right now otherwise I will," As I stood up after retrieving my phone from under his desk, he paused and his eyes widened slightly in shock.
His expression at that time was worth watching, and it was difficult for me not to smile after seeing it.
After that, I made up my mind to do something rather than sit idle and came up with a plan that would force him to converse with me.

I devised a perfect plan with my best friend Amir to get Jonathan to talk to me for once, but I had no idea that my plan was going to backfire on me.
He was driving me insane, and I'd never felt anything like this before; it wasn't love, it was some kind of obsession. I wanted to flee from him, but something was holding me back.
Amir bribed a college peon and asked him to tell Jonathan that Principal Sir was calling. My work was to drag him into the empty room and keep him there until he spoke to me.
I was such a moron that I had devised this plan. The plan was perfect in my opinion, but it wasn't. I was going to be sorely disappointed.
I was standing in the empty classroom, looking out of the window, waiting for Jonathan to arrive, when I received a message from Amir.
Amir: Jonathan has fallen down the stairs; come fast.
My eyes dilated in horror after reading the message.
I dashed out of the room and ran towards the staircase, fearful that I would lose him before getting him. My heart was racing with terror, and all I could think about was praying to God to keep him safe and well.
I arrived there and took a sigh of relief when I saw him standing perfectly fine downstairs. I approached him and embraced him without thinking anything after standing on my toes. His body was icy. I had a strong desire to feel his arms around me.
I wanted him to hug me back; I was dying to be in his arms, but instead, he harshly pushed me away with all his strength, and I fell to the floor. I sat on the floor and stared at him mutely with my eyes filled with sorrow.
He bent down and moved dangerously close to my face. "Don't ever hug or touch me again." He warned me sternly, but I ignored his words and looked into his deep brown eyes, trying to read them.
I saw extreme pain in his eyes once more. I was curious to know what pain he was concealing behind his rage. I had the strong feeling that he was only wearing the mask of the monster, and he was actually something else that I desperately wanted to discover. My soul yearned to take off the mask and get to know the real him.
"Do you really believe the message you received from Amir's phone number was sent by him?" My brow furrowed in perplexity as he spoke.
As he took the phone from his jeans pocket, the corners of his lips lifted in an evil grin. My eyes widened in shock because it was Amir's phone.
As I rose from the floor and tried to take the phone from his hand, he moved it away from me. He chuckled evilly and slipped the phone back into his pocket.
"What were your intentions, little girl? What did you intend to do after dragging me into the empty room?" I was staring at him in disbelief, wondering how he found out about my plan.
"How-how do you know?" I asked, stuttering a bit, and he let out an evil laugh.
Suddenly, he yanked me to himself by grasping my arms, staring at me darkly. "I know everything, so stop doing what you want to do." He warned me and jerked me away from himself before leaving my arms.
"No." I shook my head and went on, "You have no idea what I'm feeling. You know how I feel when I see you; my heartbeat quickens, and I want to be in your arms; you have no idea what you're doing to me, Jonathan. Every day, I am in excruciating pain. You know nothing." A lone tear trickled down my cheek mechanically as I told him about my feelings for him that I had been holding back for a few days.
As he saw a tear on my cheek, his lips drew down in sadness and his eyes glinted with pain and guilt, but he quickly concealed his true emotions behind his anger.
He clenched his teeth and fixed his angry eyes on me. "I don't care how much you care about me; it's your problem, not mine." Now I chuckled as he growled.
"Jonathan, stop acting. I know there's something that you're hiding behind your rage. I've seen the pain in your eyes, and you know that the eyes are the window to the soul, and they never lie." As soon as I told him this, he lowered his gaze.
When I saw this, a small smile formed on my lips because he indirectly proved to me that I was correct about him.
He clenched his fists and stared at me, his eyes ablaze. "Oh, just shut up; I'm warning you, if you don't stay away from me, it won't be good for you and you will lose everything." He warned me in a stern tone and then left, handing me Amir's phone.
"No, Jonathan, I'm not going to stay away from you. I'm not scared because I don't have anything to lose. You're a tough nut to crack, but I'll get you." I walked away from there, murmuring with full confidence.
