Fallen For The Vampire Chapter 3

Chapter: 3 Falling In Love After he shouted at me, I wandered to the classroom, wondering about my confused feelings. It was very strange for me that I had feelings for a person whom I didn't even know and the person who was behaving so rudely to me. "But how could I develop feelings for this type of person and that so soon?" This question was driving me insane. Moreover, one more question made me madder about why he was behaving so weirdly. He didn't talk to anyone, he shouted at me without any reason. Why was he like that? I was so eager to know about him, but who would tell me about him? I shrugged my shoulders and stepped into the classroom after making up my mind that today I would talk to him and ask him why he was behaving like that because my mind was blasting with lots of questions. I wanted to know why he was rude, arrogant and so silent. As my eyes fell on him, a smile flashed on my face. I had no clue why my lips curved up automatically every time I saw him. ‘What connection is between us?’ I always wondered. As always, he was sitting at the front desk on the left side and engrossed reading the book, wasn’t talking to anyone. I took a deep breath and strode to him, keeping my eyes fixed on him. I sat beside him at the same desk where he was sitting. My heart was pounding because I was frightened. Moreover, I was sitting so close to him for the first time. ‘God, please give me strength to talk to him because you know how curious I’m to know about him.’ As I prayed, he instantly turned his face to me and shot daggers at me like I did a crime by sitting on his desk. The rage in his eyes made me shiver. I knew confronting the monster would be difficult. "Who the fuck gave you permission to sit next to me?" He gritted his teeth and demanded indignantly, looking like he was about to throw me out the window. After seeing the rage in his eyes, I was aghast and just prayed to God for strength to confront this monster. "Get up and sit somewhere else right now." I flinched a little as he roared at me. ‘Say something, Mia. You can’t sit silent. Speak up.’ I encouraged myself, playing with my fingers in nervousness. I mustered courage and shook my head. "No, I won't leave this desk until you talk to me properly," I stated firmly, but inside I was a little frightened of him, but I faced him with full confidence because I was determined to find out why he was acting this way. As his brow furrowed, I noticed that my words ignited new fury in him. "I'm giving you ten seconds; if you don't leave this desk, you'll see the real me." He growled, moving dangerously close to me, his eyes smouldering with rage. I stared into his brown eyes, trying to see what he was hiding behind his anger. "Get out of here right now." He bawled at me before I could say anything, and all the students turned to look at us, but his behaviour didn't bother me because I had made up my mind not to leave until he spoke to me. I had no idea why I was bearing his rage and insult. I just kept looking directly into his eyes, showing no signs of fear. ‘Is this the result of my strong feelings? Or is there something else?’ I was bewildered because I was drawn to him by a powerful connection that I was experiencing. "Hey, chill, bro, there's no need to make a scene here." Amir approached us and calmly said to Jonathan, placing his hand on his shoulder. Thank goodness Nora wasn't in the classroom because if she had seen Jonathan yelling at me, she would have punched him. Amir was a calm individual. He always tried to handle everything calmly and without losing his cool, and this was the best thing about him. Nora, on the other hand, was the polar opposite of him; she was short-tempered. Jonathan glared at Amir and spoke in a grim tone, "Then take your friend with you. Before Amir could say, I again denied going. "If you have forgotten, let me remind you that I won't leave this place until you talk to me properly," I stated, looking straight into his eyes. "Don't blame me for this." He muttered before grabbing my arm and forcing me to stand. His obstinacy astounded me. I was just asking him to talk to me, but he was fighting with me. What was he? ‘Can't he talk for once with me? What is wrong with him?’ I wondered, staring into his eyes, which were smouldering with anger. "Leave her hand right now, you don't know how to treat women." Amir lost patience and attempted to remove his hand. "You are no one to tell me here how to behave with girls. Stay away." Jonathan rebuked and jerked Amir's hand. They began fighting because of me, and I decided to put an end to it because I didn't want them to fight any further because of me. I stood up and grasped Amir's hand. His angry gaze was fixed on Jonathan. "Amir, please come with me." Before Amir could respond, I led him out of the classroom, leaving an angry Jonathan behind. I took Amir to the canteen and we sat down. I told him everything about what I had been feeling since the first time I saw Jonathan. Amir looked at me, stunned. His reaction did not surprise me, because I was astounded as well that I had feelings for the person who wasn't even ready to talk to me. It was strange. "Mia, indirectly you are telling me that you love him, am I right?" When he asked for confirmation, I lowered my eyelashes and gave him a slight nod. "How could you develop feelings for such a strange man? I have never seen him talking to anyone. Today the way he treated you, then also, how?” Amir asked incredulously. I completely agreed with his words, but I was even more perplexed than he was as to why I was developing feelings for him. "Amir, I'm not sure what happens to me whenever I see Jonathan. I noticed some kind of pain in his eyes and I wanted to know what it is because his pain bothers me. I know he's a monster, mysterious, and rude, but you also know that love doesn't see anything; love just happens." I attempted to explain my feelings to Amir. "It may sound ridiculous, but I feel like I've known him for ages." Amir shook his head in disbelief as I added. "Mia, first be sure of your feelings, and if you need my help with anything or want to share anything, I will be there for you." He put his hand on my shoulder and continued, "and don't overthink it, okay? We'll take care of it; just keep your faith in God as you always do and stay strong." He held my hand and slightly squeezed in assurance. I felt a little better after listening to his words. I just hugged him and smiled contentedly. He was my best friend. I knew he would always be there for me, and I was grateful to have him in my life. "Amir, please keep whatever has happened and whatever I have shared with you today a secret; don't tell anything to Nora because you know how she will react to this," I asked Amir to keep this a secret because I didn't want Nora to find out. After all, she was overprotective of me and couldn't bear the thought of me being upset. "Don't worry." He blinked his eyes. I smiled at him. "I'm so glad to have you." He smiled too. "Always there for you." ‘This type of friendship is so blissful.’ I returned home. I didn't attend college after that because I was upset, and the main reason was that I didn't want to confront Jonathan. I had no idea how to explain what he was doing to me. ‘Why is he acting so strangely? Why is he so difficult to understand? What makes me fall for him? Why can't he communicate with me? What pain is he concealing behind his anger? Why is he so rude? Why am I feeling a strong connection with him?’ I kept thinking about him like always, but no one could answer my question or explain it to me except him.
