The man with the digital camera laughed out loud while clutching his stomach.
It was already funny enough when the man who smelled like fish pointed at the fatso, it became even more hilarious when the fatso pointed at a thin man behind him.
"Owning the big yacht? With that kind of shabby clothing, does he even own his own bicycle?"
The crowd was filled with laughter hearing the man's words. They could not help but observe Roland with laughter in their eyes. Seeing his shabby clothing, they could not help but agree with what the man stated earlier.
The burst of laughter was quite loud. Some people in the distance even thought that there was a circus, they gathered around to see what was going on.
"Why are you still laughing? Do you think we are joking?" Denis grumbled seeing the crowd's reaction.
In his eyes, his boss, Martin, was already extraordinary enough. And for Roland to be treated that way by him, Denis assumed that he was even more extraordinary than Martin. Hence, he never doubted him when said that he owns this yacht.
The crowd's reaction made him speechless. They only laughed as if they heard the biggest joke in the world.
The man with the digital camera finally calmed himself as he wiped the tears that had formed at the corner of his eyes due to laughing too much.
He looked at Denis and said, "No, no. Of course, we know you aren't joking. So, you guys can now go past us and board 'YOUR' Yacht- hahaha!'
As he said that, he and the crowd burst out laughing again. He even emphasized the word 'your', indicating that it was only a mere sarcasm.
The man with the digital camera did not think that the matter would escalate this way.
'There was no harm in admitting that you just wanted to cut the line, right? Why would you even go as far as announce that you guys own the yacht? Now, you could only blame yourself for your embarrassment.' He secretly thought.
His words earlier were meant as a sarcasm as well as a trap for Roland and the others.
He said that they should now go past them and board 'their' yacht, now, if they weren't able to board, won't that be another batch of embarrassment for them?
Simply thinking of that made the man even more gleeful. Who told you to cut in line? Now, shower yourself with the oncoming embarrassment.
However, what the man did not expect was to hear Roland's calm voice next.
"Alright, thank you for letting us pass through," he said calmly as he and Stacey walked forward with confident strides.
Stacey had a smile on her face. She did not bother talking earlier. She knew of Roland's way of handling things. Weren't these the usual scenarios that he liked to encounter the most?
She could even feel his overflowing happiness through his eyes.
Stacey shook her head, her boyfriend was truly eccentric.
"What are you standing there for? Come, follow us," Roland turned around and beckoned for Denis and Martin to follow behind.
The two woke up from their stupor as they looked behind at the jovial crowd earlier before following behind Roland and Stacey.
Meanwhile, the moment Roland uttered his first words, the crowd immediately went silent.
Not because they thought he was truly the owner, but because they were dumbfounded at his courage and persistence. Even after that embarrassment, he was still not willing to admit his mistakes? He was still bragging?
After their momentary stupor, with the lead of the man with the digital camera, the crowd burst into another fit of laughter again.
"You heard that guys? This kid is very stubborn. Let's wait and see how he will embarrass himself after getting thrown out by the yacht's captain later," he said with a sneer as he and the crowd waited for Roland's ultimate demise.
At this time, Roland and Stacey had already arrived right beside the yacht. The boarding step was already in front of them, however, right before Roland and Stacey could step on it, a burly man wearing a white uniform and a cap suddenly emerged from the yacht
Seeing the burly man emerge, the crowd burst into cheer.
They already knew earlier that the burly captain was a very fierce man.
Earlier, someone actually dared to step into that boarding step to take a closer picture together with the yacht. However, at the next moment, this boorish captain appeared all of sudden, and scolded the man in front of everyone, saying that the yacht was very precious and that only the owner and the relevant personnel could board the yacht.
When the man still insisted that he would only take one picture while stepping at the boarding step, the captain no longer held back and immediately made the man step away forcefully. Not only was he not able to take a picture at the boarding step, he was not even allowed to take a picture even from afar as the captain would try to chase him away again.
After that, no one dared to take a single step near the yacht again, afraid of provoking this fierce yacht captain.
"Guys, let's take a guess at how long this kid and his group could last before getting thrown out by the captain. I'll say five minutes max," the man with the digital camera instigated the crowd again.
"Five minutes is too long, I think it would only be at least two minutes." A man in the crowd said.
"Two minutes? You're overestimating that kid, I'd say 30 seconds max."
"Sssh! Stop shouting, look, the captain's towering figure is already in front of them."
The moment someone said that, the crowd immediately became silent, as they tried to focus on the event that would occur next, afraid that they would miss a single scene.
