I woke up to the hit of light on my face coming from the parting curtain. It's morning? I wondered in my mind because I slept last night because of what happened. I noticed on the side of the table that there was a letter there, I reached for it and read.

My mind asked and I put Smael's letter back on the table, I leaned back on the bed and thought deeply because it was as if someone was telling me that I didn't have to leave anymore.

"In the market, we've run out of stock." She replied smiling.

"Smael said, I can leave," I answered and nodded, Mother Emma.
I looked at Sonya as if she looked unbelievable. But I just ignored it and I followed Mom Emma out. While we were riding in the car that was serviced here, Mother Emma said.
"Is Smael busy right now, Mother Emma?" Then I asked as we sat side by side here in the back.
"Maybe, why did you ask?"
I turned to Mother Emma and smiled at her. "I wish I could call him now," I answer and I don't know, it's like I want to hear Smael's voice.
"Call him I know he can answer you, why did you miss him?"
Suddenly I was embarrassed because of what Mom Emma said, I can't look properly.
"N-no, he's always gone when I wake up," I answered and smiled, Mother Emma.
"I'm just kidding, but I'll be happy if you make him happy."
I was stunned by what Mom Emma said until the market floated my mind because of what she said.
"I'm a witness to whatever he's going through, Smael. Smael was fourteen years old when that saddest day happened. I know I can't blame him for why he's like that. My only wish before I die is that he found a girl who can give him happiness. "
I didn't expect what Mom Emma said after we went shopping and we got in the car again to go home.
"Why did what happened to him?" Curious I asked I heard Mother Emma's faint sigh.
"I picked him up from his school even though I didn't do that because I said he was a big man. But his mama and papa ordered me to pick him up. I didn't do anything and they left me another word, don't suppose to leave Smael. And that's when we came home with a terrible incident. We found out that Smael's parents were both bathed in their blood. "
I couldn't speak because I found out, so maybe that's just how he killed. I just kept quiet until we got back to the mansion. I helped carry the groceries even though Mother Emma asked me to, I wanted to help.
"Elisa, where are your parents?"
I looked up at Mother Emma because of her question because I was cutting the ingredients in Mother Emma's cooking.
"I don't have a parent anymore, like Smael, I'm also an orphan. But, I tried to be strong for myself." I answered smiling.
"That's right, you know you're a real thing, Smael." Mother Emma said cheerfully.
My cheeks got hot because of what he said and I couldn't explain the smile on my lips.
"You look happy?"
I was shocked and my smile faded because of Sonya's sudden arrival and this is what I was told.
"Remember that will end too so you don't forget, right now he can replace you."
I saw Mother Emma shake and signal for me to ignore. So I just let it go, after we cooked the food we ate together.
"All right Elisa, I'll take care of that."
Brenda yelled at me, so I even wanted to help wash the dishes. I no longer insisted. I went upstairs straight to my room.

"Did you miss me?"
I was stunned by his question and I felt both my cheeks heat up. I didn’t know what to answer because it was like digging into my stomach and heart for no known reason.
"If yes, I'll go to your room."
"Ha? B-But, isn't that in--?"
"Just answer me, Elisa,"
I shrugged at his husky voice and asked again as he pronounced my name.
"Y-Yes, yes." I bowed to my answer and I don't know why I answered that. I heard nothing on the other line and when I looked at the phone nothing was turned off.
I was restless and my heartbeat got stronger, I didn't know if I would stand or sit until the door suddenly opened and I was shocked when Smael entered, he walked straight towards me and grabbed me immediately my waist, and his lips quickly pressed against mine.
