The Prosperity Matriarch finally saw what Damien was seeing, and she was also astounded when Ace appeared without any sin aura on him. It was too strange and mysterious.
Although she didn’t completely trust Damien and even suspected that he was playing tricks, she wanted to blame everything on Ace; yet, she remained suspicious nevertheless. After all, Damien has no reason to frame Ace, for he insisted that his target was the Sky Stealer, and from the start, he never blamed Ace until now.
Ace was on tenterhooks when the Prosperity Matriarch looked at him, and now he was sure that Damien had seen something, and he was trying to convince the Prosperity Matriarch as well.
The same question Damien had asked him before, now she asked again in a cold tone while she used the Blood Bondage Contract to force him to tell her the truth.
Ace controlled his avatar; his expression remained stoic, as if he were still under control.
"I’m Ace, an orphan from the Spirit Inferno Domain," Ace replied stoically.
Although he was lying, there was no way they could confirm the authority of his claim, at least not in a short time. Moreover, the Blood Bondage Contract was Ace’s protective talisman.
Unless she knew he could trick any kind of contract, she wouldn’t suspect anything, and Damien might know about this, but he still didn’t suspect Ace was Sky Stealer. The furthest guess they can make is that he was working with the Sky Stealer.
"Are you working with Sky Stealer, or did you play any part in the Law Legacy of Prosperity’s destruction?" She asked another crucial question aligned with Ace’s thinking.
"No. I was there by accident, and that guy was too strong, so I didn’t dare to pick a fight with him. I have no idea how the Law Legacy was destroyed." Ace replied.
Damien’s eyes were cold as he looked at Ace, and he could tell Prosperity Matriarch believed him. Furthermore, Ace’s answers were reasonable, and he wasn’t lying.
He sent another spirit transmission to the Prosperity Matriarch, "Your highness, this is not the problem here. As you can see, he has no Sin Aura on him, which should be impossible. We all have committed some kind of sin, small or large.
"Every cultivator is a sinner because they go against the natural order. It doesn’t matter if they have never committed any crime or wronged others; just their existence is a sin against nature because they are cursed by nature.
"The Qi Radiation exists because of cultivators, and I don’t need to tell you the severity of the Qi Radiation, after all, the top six sects have been ’dealing’ with it for countless years."
Prosperity Matriarch’s eyes flickered with a hint of shock when she heard up to this point, ’How did he know about ’that’ matter?!’
Damien didn’t seem to be bothered by what he just said, and continued, "That’s why, it’s too strange for him to not have even a sliver of sin on him. I don’t believe the natural order will make an exception for an insignificant speck of dust in the grand scheme of things."
He was naturally calling Ace ’insignificant,’ and the Prosperity Matriarch couldn’t refute him because even she didn’t find any fault with his reasons. As an Ascension King, who was at the pinnacle of this world, she knew many secrets and understood things that even Grand Lords couldn’t come in contact with in their entire life.
"He is a Heaven Chosen. Furthermore, I didn’t see any sin aura on you as well, except for that golden mist, and you are the Son of Heaven. If you are so knowledgeable, you should know that a Heaven Chosen is born with a ’Quadrilateral Divine Constitution’, meaning a fantastic physique, fantastic meridians, bloodline, and divine aspect.

It was clear that the Prosperity Matriarch wanted to know Damien’s background and his secret. Since Damien had yet to show hostility towards her, she knew he wasn’t confident in dealing with her, and despite his strange abilities or his attitude, he wouldn’t be so patient with her.
She also knew that Damien wanted her help, and this was the weak point she tried to use to control and force Damien to reveal his secrets.
Damien’s expression went dark as he glared at the Prosperity Matriarch. How could he not understand what the old witch was scheming? Her sin aura revealed her true nature, and at this moment, the Sin Aura of Greed was flickering violently around her.
