Damien impassively scanned his surroundings with scrutiny. Although the Sky Stealer didn’t appear after the Prosperity Law Monolith was shattered, nor could he sense the Heaven’s Stealer’s presence, he first wanted to make sure that his target wasn’t here before searching the entire PHW King Sect.

Yet, Damien has interacted with ’Ace’ and he was sure that Ace wasn’t such a being, in fact, he was sure that Ace had shown greed when he met him for the first time within the Law Legacy space.
For this exact reason, Damien was baffled by Ace’s peculiar situation; this was something he had no idea how to deal with.
On the other hand, Ace also felt Damien’s piercing gaze on him, and for a moment, his heart raced as he became alert.
’Did he find out!?’ Ace thought solemnly, but he didn’t move recklessly as he wanted to confirm this first, since this might be a false alarm.
Nonetheless, Ace was feeling uneasy ever since the Eye of Heaven had revealed itself, and he wanted to get far away from it as soon as possible.
"Who is he really?" Damien spoke at that moment, pointing at Ace.
The Prosperity Matriarch frowned and glanced at Ace, "What about him? He’s a Heaven Chosen. Although I admit he’s not like you, his talent is something that hasn’t been seen in the Mortal Ascension Heaven for countless years. Don’t tell me you are suspecting him?"
Because of the Blood Bondage Contract, the Prosperity Matriarch had absolute trust in Ace, and earlier, she had integrated him. Since he hadn’t admitted to claiming the Law Legacy, she believed him.
Furthermore, it was Damien who suddenly obstructed Ace from revealing the entire truth, which made Prosperity Matriarch almost believe that it was Damien who had taken the law legacy.
