Blaze pov

I wake up feeling a hand on my bare stomach. I turn my head to see its owner and I'm met with a ball of red hair.
Memories from last night come rushing in my pounding head. I must have drunk too much again. I can't remember the name of the naked woman next to me, but that's nothing new. As I never ask for a name. It doesn't matter for me as long as my primal instincts are satisfied.
I grab a handful of her hair and direct her mouth on my now erected member. She starts licking and sucking and I start pounding faster and faster till I release myself.
"Get dressed and get out!" I said, my voice rough. The woman put her clothes on with trembling hands and rush out the door.
"My King !" I heard Titus, my head warrior after a couple of minutes.
"Come in !" I said still laying on my bed. As soon as he stepped into the room I could see the worry in his eyes.
"My King!"He said bowing his head slightly, "There's been another attack. A whole city destroyed to the ground. The few survivors are asking for shelter in the Capital City. "
I stand up from my bed, not worrying about my nudity. Titus has seen me like this before. He has been on my side since I took the throne almost 17 years ago. I was only 10 at the time. He was like a brother to me.
"Go bring the advisors! We'll have a meeting in 15 min sharp! No one is to be late!" I said entering the bathroom.
After I took a cold shower, I put on some dark jeans and a button-up black shirt. My tan skin and golden eyes were glowing in the sunlight that was coming through my window. I make my way to the meeting room, and as soon as I enter everyone to bow their heads. "Your Majesty! "they all said and remain to stand until I sit down and permit them to do the same.
"It was brought to my attention that a whole city was destroyed. Lots of innocent lives were lost. How is that possible? How the fuck was that happening? Who is responsible for this?" I said in a stern voice, making the advisors flinch and looking down.
"My King! if you allow me, I will like to speak!" one of the elder's advisors said.
"Go ahead! Speak!"
"My King! The warriors are weakening! There's no enough food to keep them strong enough for fighting day and night, Sire! I'm sorry, My King, but we are running out of food and water supply in all the Kingdom. The soil's so dry that our cultures are dying. "He said with teary eyes.
"Why no one told me anything about this before?!" I yelled smashing my fist on the table!
"Our people are dying and no one thought it is important for me to know?" getting up from my chair I said in a deep voice "Get. Out.! All of you Get out!"Everyone rushing to the door, afraid of the consequences if they're being in my way longer than needed.
"Titus! You stay!"
"Yes, My King !"
Closing the door after the last advisor exits the room he came and slumps on a chair
"What are we gonna do, Blaze? Things look pretty bad if you ask me."
"I know Titus, I know. I'll find something "
The meeting room doors opened and my sister, Enya, came in.
"My King!" she said to me and then nodding her head in Titus direction "Head warrior! "
"Leave the formalities, Enya, I told you I don't like when you're calling me like that. Not when it's just the three of us here" I scolded her while taking the cup of coffee from her hand and taking a large sip.
" Fuck!" I said spitting the black liquid on the floor, and the room was now filled with Enya's and Titus's laughing.
"Oh, brother! I'm glad you're not hurried like that when you approve new laws, otherwise who knows what was going to happen. "
"Who was the hottie that left your room so early in the morning? Should I let my hopes getting up?" She was trying to annoy me now, or what? She knows better than anyone that there won't be a woman in my life, I won't allow that. I saw first hand what love can do. I won't allow myself to fall in love. Never! I don't have this luxury. People will die because of my love, their King's love.
"You know better than this, Enya! You felt it on your skin! You felt what love between royals can do! We are orphans because of that kind of love!" I said with clenched teeth getting up and going to the large window."
Kids were playing on the streets, unwary of the danger over the corner. The war was slowly going to destroy what's left of the Fire Kingdom. I can't let that happen! I was so young when I took over the throne, so unprepared. I didn't know war tactics, or how to manage food ratios. But I've learned. I'm good at this now. Hopefully, it's not too late for my people.
" I heard the news "she then said. Her smile disappeared. Now her eyes were full of pain. And it's hurting me to see my sister like that, my only family. I'm not even capable of keeping my sister happy. How I'll gonna keep thousands of souls alive then? I need a plan. I need to do something. But what? Our land is drying out. People are starving. Women's and kids are killed in this unforgiving war. They should not know these troubles. They deserved to live a better life.
"Then you know I need to do something! I need to do something for those people! I need to make our parents proud! "
"They are proud of you Blaze! I'm sure of that, as I'm sure I'm proud of you! "Enya said kissing my cheek.
"Maybe you can get an alliance! Why not ask for help from the other Kingdoms?"
"You know I can't do that! I won't stoop so low! Plus why they will help us?"
"Because once, we used to live in peace. We were celebrating and mourning together! We are all elementals! And I bet everyone is sick of this stupid war!"
"She's right, Blaze! "Titus added.
After a couple of minutes of silence, I turn around so I can watch them in the eyes."I'll do it! Prepare everything! We go in a week time! "I said, addressing the last part only to Titus.
