“I can’t control myself!”
The youthful assassin was suspended in midair, his eyes vacant as if lifeless.
The murderous look in his eyes vanished, supplanted by intense terror.
At this instant, he sensed his body was beyond his dominion.
It seemed as if an unseen force had ensnared him, and he could not liberate himself.
Under this force, he felt like an ant.
“Give yourself a slap first.”
Loong Chen’s voice was very calm.

A few Earth Spikes appeared on the ground out of nowhere and pierced through all the burly men, killing them in an instant.
Blood splattered all over the street.
Observing this unfolding scenario, the youthful assassin’s eyes, already filled with terror, became clouded with despair. He recognized his survival chances as being non-existent.
“Your life shall be spared. Whether you uncover the true perpetrator, however, will hinge upon your own endeavors,” the voice calmly professed.
Loong Chen addressed Baldie Qiang in a dispassionate tone, subsequently turning away and departing.
The bystanders watched him with a mixture of admiration and reverence, parting ways to forge a path for him.
Baldie Qiang remained frozen in shock for several moments before regaining his composure. When he eventually recovered and began to search for Loong Chen, he discovered that Loong had already vanished without leaving any traces behind.
“Had he not intervened, my fate would have been sealed. Aligning myself with him seems providential.”
His heart was ablaze with unprecedented exhilaration.
He then shifted his gaze to the young figure suspended in the air.
The youth’s limbs were contorted unnaturally, it was evident that, while life still lingered, he was utterly incapacitated.
“Whoever harbors intentions to annihilate me shall bear the repercussions!”
Baldie Qiang’s visage was icy, his lethal intent palpable.
Seizing the youthful assassin, he exited the thoroughfare.
Loong Chen remained indifferent to Baldie Qiang’s subsequent actions towards the assassin.
Upon his return home, Loong Chen extracted a box.
“Kui, unveil its contents and behold.”
A mysterious smile played across Loong Chen’s lips.
As Loong Kui opened the box, her face displayed a mix of perplexity and intrigue. The sight of the blue princess dress inside left her in stunned silence.
“It’s so beautiful.”
Loong Kui’s eyes stared at the fairy dress.
“Do you like it? I’ll give it to you.”
Loong Chen looked at his sister’s blank face and smiled.
“I like it.”
Quickly speaking, Loong Kui seemed to abruptly pause, her expression altering as if a thought struck her.
“However, brother, this attire seems quite costly. You should return it.”
Loong Kui was aware of Loong Chen’s affluent status, but her ingrained habits from a life of hardship made her frugal.
So, even though she found the fairy dress enchanting, she withstood her desire and declined it.
Loong Chen, observing his sister’s economical nature, didn’t feel pride; rather, he felt remorse.
He blamed himself for not caring adequately for his younger sister.
“Kui, fret not. I assure you a life of comfort henceforth. This dress is a gift from someone; please accept it.”

Loong Kui ceased her refusals. Once in her room, she promptly donned the fairy dress.
Emergent in the fairy attire, she left Loong Chen in awe.
At that moment, Loong Kui looked like a celestial being gracing the earth with her presence.
Loong Chen was taken aback by her beauty.
“Kui, appearing in public in such attire will make every man in Jinling City lose their senses.”
“I anticipate a flurry of marriage proposals in the near future.”
Loong Kui’s cheeks flushed crimson.
After the midday meal, Loong Chen spoke to Loong Kui.
“Kui, I need to step out for a bit but should be back by dinner.”
