Pedro arrived at the Garcia mansion, his men remained outside while he was ushered inside and guided to the living room.
“Mr. Garcia will be down shortly,” the servant girl informed with a low bow, and left the living room.
Pedro didn't even bother to sit down as it scanned the room. The last time he stepped his feet on the Garcia property was when he was just a little boy…now he was a fully grown man.
Pedro stood by the bookshelf, his eyes fixed on the portrait before him, the Garcias appeared to be an honest family.
His eyes shone with anger at the sight of a woman who did more harm than good. The woman destroyed another woman all because of her jealousy. Antonia Garcia had always destroyed everyone whom she thought threatened her peace.
“You must be Pedro Ramirez?” a voice came from behind, making Pedro turn around, and it was the eldest daughter of Ramirez. Supposedly his half-sister.
“Hmm,” Pedro only hummed and moved away from the bookshelf. Bianca, who was dressed in a short pink dress, reaching mid-thigh high with stilettos, led shyly and walked up to him,
“It's so nice to see you, my brother has told me so much about you… I must say… you are handsome,” Bianca commented and gave Pedro a half hug.
Damn, just a whiff and she already liked him. Moving away, Pedro gave a faint smile.
“I was on my way out, do you want anything…water, a cold drink maybe,” said as she walked to the wine cellar within the living room.
“No, thanks,” Pedro denied and averted his eyes from the woman. Bianca frowned, not sure why he was pretending as if she weren't there before she could say anything. Solange entered the living room only to stop when she saw Bianca looking as if she had been rejected and a good-looking man.
“Bianca, why didn't you offer our guests a seat,” Solange said as she proceeded to Pedro. “Welcome Mr. Ramirez it's nice to have you here… my apologies but my husband was getting ready when you came,” Solange apologize politely and shook hands with Pedro. Surprisingly, the man did not say a word.
“Is he blind or something … I mean… he didn't even look at me twice," Bianca snarled when Solange dragged her out of the living room.
“That's enough, he's our guest…do you have to throw yourself at him,” Solange whispered, not sure why Bianca wanted to embarrass herself by throwing herself at Pedro.
“I'm sure that slut, Livia you told me about, had him wrapped around her finger… “Bianca retorted with rage. She had heard and seen that Livia…not just Luciano. But Livia seemed to have the two men chasing after her.
“Tell me… did you talk to your friend… that Hannah chick?” Bianca asked when they entered the study room. Solange closed the door and nodded.
“Very soon she'll handle the matter,” apparently not just her hated Livia Gonzalez. Hannah too hated her, not sure why. But Hannah was Solange's college friend. They were good friends then and even now.
“Don't worry, I'm sure that Luciano asked Pedro to come so that he invites him to the annual company party,” Solange remarked, assuring Bianca, that Antonia had been planning a party for months. It had never happened because of certain issues rising one after the other.
“That's nice, then I'll make it fun… I need to pick the sexiest outfit I can find, “Bianca cheered, knowing full well no man had ever escaped her grasp. It was just a matter of time.

“My apologies for keeping you waiting, Mr. Ramirez, “Luciano said, and sat down. Pedro didn't bother. He recalled the last time they fought. He was even wondering why the man asked to see him.
“May I know why you called me here, as I see it… I already asked to end our partnership,” he didn't come to waste his time, Luciano was a good-for-nothing man… Pedro's expression darkened when Luciano let out a sarcastic chuckle and adjusted into a comfortable sitting position.
“I didn't call you for that, my only concern is for you to leave Livia… apparently you are not good enough,” Luciano said in a dark tone…his eyes shone with anger directed at Pedro. It was amusing to see Luciano acting all tough.
“Says a man who is controlled by his mother… what fucking rights do you have to tell me that!” Pedro fired disdainfully, his eyes shone with contempt, there was something he hated and that was Luciano claiming Olivia.
“You know nothing about me… What I saw the other night was enough for me to take Olivia from you… you are a pathetic, violent man!” Luciano growled, slamming a few newspapers on the table that they scattered around. Pedro's gaze moved around until he saw who was in the picture.
“Does she know you are a filthy man, a criminal… you pose to be a good man with a legitimate business when you are a fucking mafia!” Luciano yelled as his eyes widened angrily, his face flushed with rage, he should have known the man he wanted as part of the business was a criminal.
“Does it scare you, are you afraid of what I can do to your family with the snap of my fingers?” Pedro asked shrewdly, he liked the anger Luciano was shooting at him, the anger and fear in his eyes made Pedro happy.
“I only want to protect Livia from a monster like you, who knows what you would do to her”
“Says a man who couldn't even man up to protect the woman he claimed to love" Pedro cut him off, and Luciano's morphed into a darkened. His hands clenched tightly so that his knuckles cracked from anger. How on earth did he know about that?
“Save it, Luciano, my patience is running out… Livia is my woman, if you want your little family safe… fuck off,” Pedro warned, knowing full well reminding Luciano of his failures would cripple his wings.
“She's mine, I'm in love with her, and I'd stop at nothing to have her… even if I have to fight you, “Luciano wasn't giving up, he had already fallen for Livia, Pedro was a dangerous man. If she knew the crimes he had committed.
“If I were you, I'd watch my back carefully… I can be very unforgiving, “Pedro remarked in a dark tone. It was a simple warning to him. Pedro had nothing to say. Hence he rose to his feet. Adjusted his suit, “Don't be overconfident,” saying, Pedro walked out of the living room. Leaving Luciano seated in place with a dark expression. The last thing he wanted was to get his hands dirty. But to have the woman he wanted and that too against a dangerous man…
Meanwhile, Antonia, who was just eavesdropping on the conversation between her son and that man, placed her hand on her beating heart. As she watched, the dark figure of Pedro fading away as he exited the mansion.
“This… this can't be,” she muttered as her throat turned dry. The cold liquid formed on her forehead, making her anxious. If she weren't mistaken.
“Clara Ramirez “she mumbled out the name of the woman who destroyed her life. The same woman who bewitched her husband against her.
“Madam you called” one of Antonia's trusted men entered the bedroom and closed it. Antonia was sitting on her bed elegantly.
“You saw him?” she asked, and the man nodded, lowering his head.
“DNA test… do it now,” she gave an order. If she wasn't mistaken. That man was the same boy who was supposed to die in that fire. If he was, then she had no choice but to make sure he was six feet under.

“Boss, you just gave yourself away?”Enzo asked once Pedro entered the back seat of the car. Enzo was in front together with the driver.
“Is it a problem? '' Pedro asked lazily, Luciano thought he found out about him being a mafia due to his cleverness, apparently no, Pedro made him find out. It was time he stopped hiding.
“One press of this button and the mansion will be blown into smithereens, hehehe should I cause a little destruction,” Enzo said in between chuckles. The Garcia mansion was an open book. There was a bomb planted. Any time they would die like cockroaches.
“Leave it, how about you go fuck that sister of mine… she's a pain in the neck,” Pedro said sarcastically and Enzo chuckled, shaking his head
“Alright Alright, you caught me… I did get a little taste,” it was unfair, Gabby had his fun, and no one was booking him for some. He took the initiative and slept with the eldest daughter of the Garcia family. Pedro didn't mind but answered his phone which had been ringing nonstop.
"Talk to me," he said lazily, connecting it to his ear "What, Dammit I'm on my way," Pedro exclaimed upon hearing what Zane had to say.
