Jinn shrugged before returning his attention to the food. He already told her everything he knew, and the rest was up to her.
Evelyn nodded after a second of thought. "Very well, I understand."
With her curiosity satisfied, she stood up from the seat and picked up the plate. "Don’t worry, I will keep my end of the bargain as well."
Saying this, she turned around and left, leaving Jinn alone once more.
’I am not worried about.’ He watched as she moved to another table before smiling wryly. But then he thought about it seriously.
’Well, it is a good thing that she can only read the surface emotion and has to guess the reason behind those emotions by herself. Or maybe she is misleading me on purpose with this statement.’
Jinn did not know which was the truth, but in his heart, he had already decided to keep an eye on Evelyn, marking her as someone he should be wary of.

Just thinking about it made his heart pound with rage.
He started kicking around, blinded by his anger. His foot slipped off the bag and struck the wall behind it.
Writhing in pain, he fell to the ground. Tears of desperation appeared in her eyes.
"I lost points again... at this rate I will be expelled from the academy, and my career as an Aurer would end. How will I pay the debts... how will I live in the fancy mansion? Instead I will be forced to return to that slum with those nasty people."
His eyes drifted to the open window of his room, and dark thoughts started to appear in his heart. His clouded mind could not clearly see a path ahead.
Just then, the page he had stuffed in his pants slipped out and fell beside his leg.
The cold sensation on his hand made him look at the page.
Jeremy’s anger gave way to despair and recklessness.
Recalling the news he read and the incident that took place next, a rather bold idea suddenly came to his mind.
His thought shattered as the door of his room opened with a thud and someone entered.
"Yo, you good?" A red-haired boy suddenly entered the room with a carefree smile.
Seeing Jeremy lying on the floor with his eyes bloodshot, his narrow eyes thinned into small slits.
"I heard the rumors outside, did you really attack a first-year in front of so many people?" he approached Jeremy with a bewildered look on his face. "There has to be a limit to your recklessness."
"Shut it, Frost." Jeremy hissed coldly. "I don’t want to hear about recklessness from a guy who sleeps with the snakes in his bed."
"What do you know that is for my power? I feel that I am already close to awakening the next core. Maybe two or three months, and I can also apply for an early graduation."
Hearing that made Jeremy’s cold heart burn with jealousy.
The boy named frost paused and seriously looked at his roommate.
"You should leave this academy and get a job at a Opal Trading Company. Maybe they will take you now, but if you get expelled, you might not even have a chance there without connection."

Reading the lines and analyzing the dots, he could not help but stifle a laugh.
Jeremy thought he was laughing at him, but seeing his eyes on the paper, he calmed down and hurriedly stuffed it away.
"I am going to take a nap before the next class starts."
Watching him shuffle away, Frost turned around, thinking, ’Even he is interested in things like that? Guess not all of his blood is flowing through his muscles.’
Recalling the image of the dot he made while connecting the dots in his mind, a scheming smile appeared on his face.
"Maybe I should get him those toys for his birthday. That will keep him busy."
Just like that a week passed, and Jinn would attend the control class every day for an hour or two. Then he would go through the books he received on the classes he was about to attend.
As it turns out, a rumor related to Dean Black was spread through the entire academy before it faded away.
Dean was shocked to hear about himself in the rumors, and even though he knew they were fake, he accepted the fame with open arms.
Surprisingly, he also managed to reach the seventh level on the first day. Barely before the time for dinner arrived, and unfortunately for him and everyone who was trying their best to at least make it through dinner, Olivia let them go despite the results before dinner.
She simply said she wanted to see what everyone was capable of, and there was no real test there.
later she also warned everyone that they would have to continue the activity for the week and reach at least level five, or they might get expelled.
Level five in a week was the minimum talent needed for students to attend their classes.
She also stated that they might get a reward based on their performance.
So the grind started once more. Besides Dean, only a handful managed to clear the seventh level.
But they all needed a week to do so.
Most of them passed the fifth level in a few days with ease, while several others took a week.
