It’s been three months, Scott and I have been in our lanes not wanting any trouble from each other. He’s been so nice and kind to me .
He is a good man , I still couldn’t believe that the whole colony thought that he was a harsh man, but in actual reality, he wasn’t .
He was very sweet and humble , he is handsome too. I barely thought of him as my kind of man , but I loved how nicely he treated me .
As I sat on the sofa , I really needed to get out. Training was becoming more and more intense, I hadn’t spoken to Elijah since the incident. I was always keeping my distance whenever he tried coming close. His lips on mine , I still couldn’t get it out of my head.
But I couldn’t do it, I was married to another . I belonged to Scott now. He was able to take away everything that belonged to Scott, but not me and that made him furious.
I liked that Scott had won that over him. At the training ground , Elijah tried to get me with him in private but I kept on making sure Devon was always around with us.
It was getting really boring in the Alphas Mansion, I needed a get away but clearly not to see my parents. I was still pissed at them. I haven’t spoken to them since after the wedding. Although I missed them but I wasn’t going to let down my ego.
I thought of where I could go to. I wasn’t sure if I went to the Locke wood territory if I’ll find that handsome young lad again, he seemed to be hiding from something or someone.
I didn’t even know his name, and it was risky as well, I didn’t want to endanger myself or the Damien’s family , what if I get caught. It’ll be a blood bath and I wouldn’t have my back up . I wasn’t sure how many Vampires were in the territory,
I couldn’t go, I wish Scott would take me with him whenever he was stepping out.
There was a sound at the window, I dashed out to check , I was frightened, I hated staying alone. I am always so scared . It felt like someone is always watching me .
The other day, while I was asleep , I could feel someone staring at me through the window, I turned round to check and like the wind , the person was gone. There was no one day , but then I looked again . The person had dropped something.
A scarf , which had the the L.W , I tried so hard to understand what it meant. I have never seen such initials with a splatter of blood over it. It was evident that someone was here, someone was right there staring at me.
I decided to keep this a secret to myself, I hide the scarf deep In between my clothes. I wasn’t going to tell Scott about this. Oh, if only Elijah and I were still good friends , I would have been dying to tell him this .
But we weren’t , I am my own bestfriend. Luna Sandra has been picking on me everyday. The smile she had on her face, the day she visited our house for the arrangement of the wedding had wiped off her face.
She was very unhappy with me and displeased with all my doings. But I still looked up to her , it was said that she was fierce, strong and she led the Lunas to battle. Not a single one of her girls died.
She protected them and fought duly, she rescued all the Lunas who were captured alive. She was legendary and no wonder Alpha Damien chose her. They were a strong fit for each other. But I wondered what Scott mum would have been like.
Would she have loved me for her son? Would she have treated me like her own? It doesn’t really matter now, since I was never going to find out.
I decided to take a look round the Mansion. There were places I had never been to, doors I had never unlocked and exits I never knew existed.
I walked , taking a peek at every door, understanding every turn in case I needed to make my way back. I feared that I would get lost in the Mansion.
I enjoyed walking int the mansion, then I heard footsteps doming behind me, it wasn’t one person . So I hid at the corner , watching and waiting for them to move on.
It was Luna Sandra walking hand in hand with another man, he was tall and very huge, he had dark eyes , long black hair. And he didn’t look like he was from our clan. I have never heard of him nor set my eyes on him before.
Could it be that Alpha Damien was about to have a meeting with this man, he had a badge of an elevated Alpha , now I was sure he didn’t belong here.
I followed them begging closely and Luna Sandra led him into a Chamber. She looked around tentatively before shutting the door, I could hear the door lock cringe.
I moved closer to the door, trying to see if I could peep through the little opening , but it was hard, I couldn’t see anything, the chamber looked dark and Cousy. Maybe Aloha Damien was in there.
I couldn’t see but at least I could hear them. I placed my ears onthe door.
“ I love you, Sherlock . Why are you wasting time in eliminating the threat? I can’t wait to own this colony and rule over it as well, I will elevate you from Zeta position to a Luna in my pack. You will rule beside me as my beloved wife. Don’t forget you are not Luna, we all lied and gave you my daughters’ name to bear. You know the story and I don’t need to go into that.”
I heard Luna Sandra become so gentle in her voice as she pleaded with him” Give me a little more time my lord, I will wipe out the entire family , not one of them will survive. Alpha Damien is becoming weaker by the month. I have been giving him the green herbs once every week.
“Once, ever week? He yelled, I specifically instructed you that you gave it to him everyday. The Alpha said. I need him out of this mansion, there’s no room for weakness.
Increase the dosage and five it to him everyday! I told you in this line of work, there’s no reason for any sort of attachment .
You are on a mission and you are losing sight of the price. I don’t need to tell you what happens to those who lose sight of their mission. He roared.
Yes my lord, she replied, I could feel her submission to this Alpha.
I heard footsteps approaching, I was confused of which way to go, I hit my body against the door.
I could hear Luna Sandra say…” someone is there… who is there?” she asked .
I quickly ran away trying to find a safe place to hide. I saw Elijah and Devon approachingmy hiding place.. What were they doing here now?
My heart was beating so fast after what I had just heard, I put my hand on my chest trying to calm the beat of my heart. I prayed that Elijah wouldn’t look behind the corner.
Oh Elijah, and Devon. What are you both doing out here? Remember this place is exclusive to I and alpha Damien. Luna Sandra said, looking back at the door as she walked away with them.
Watching them walk away, I heaved a huge sign of relief. I waited for the huge Alpha to leave the chamber but I didn’t see him leave. I watched and paid attention to every sound but there seemed to be no movement.
I decided to go see for myself, I walked towards the door. Peering round the area as though I was a surveillance camera. I held the door knob for minutes before letting myself turn that knob.
I wasn’t sure of what I wanted to see, but when I pushed the door open, it was quiet, dark and dust had covered every surface of the chamber.
I saw the window was left open and claw marks were everyone, did he jump off the window? It’s unlikely for him to jump out the window since it felt like he was hiding and didn’t want to be seen in the mansion.
I was scared of the other option which felt like the only reality, he could fly. I stood in shock, my hands around my mouth, stopping myself from screaming .
I have heard tales of Dark werewolves during my stay at the TrainingAcademy, they were born with significant dark powers, they could kill one with one snap of their fingers, they could shape shift and take any form they so desired.
They could even possess someone and direct them to do their deeds. They were banished from our territory many years ago.
I was so scared, shaking from fear. I quickly made my way back to my room. Scott was studying me closely but I tried to act fine.
I was shaken from the fear of the imagination of having a Dark wolf in our midst. Who was he really? What did he want? Who was the threat to be eliminated? Who exactly was Luna Sandra?
All these questions came haunting me, I sat on my head staring into the nothingness of the atmosphere. I was lost, I forgot for a minute that Scott was also inside the room. My hands were shaking.
He stared at me, he started saying words to me but it all felt like a mumble, I saw his lips move but I didn’t hear the words he spoke.
Scott approached me and for the first time I didn’t pill away, he held me into a tight hug.
I finally heard him say, “ it’s okay, you’re safe now, I’m here” I threw my hands around him, I broke into tears. I was scared of staying in the Alphas mansion. I wanted to leave, but this was my family now.
I stayed in his embrace, I didn’t want him to leave me, I felt safe in his arms.
