Surrounded by the profound nebulae, Jacob’s eyes narrowed as flames in his sockets danced wildly.
At once, the Infinite Space shuddered harder as lines of law themselves began to awaken. It was as though the very fabric of causality recognized his action.
Jacob knew that devouring the Divine Source Code Fragment had triggered that Universal Anathema, and it no longer seemed like just an empty threat!
At that moment, the Infinite Space turned pitch-black, and everything seemed to freeze. Even the Black Mechanic’s processes were locked in suspended animation as time halted.
Out of the void, a formless silhouette emerged with no body, no face, only a shape made of pure, abstract divinity.
Its presence radiated infinite weight, crushing reality itself with just its being. Every rune that composed its existence screamed laws like extermination, and correction...
However, despite that terrifying presence, Jacob seemed extremely...indifferent. Although Jacob was surprised by the profound intent and laws brought by that Universal Anathema, for some strange reason, Jacob didn’t feel fear at all.
At that moment...
"O Blasphemer who devoured the Divine Thread...
"You have violated the Mother’s Code.
"You have rewritten what was not yours to rewrite.
"You shall be marked!"
Its voice wasn’t heard; it was experienced. Every syllable wanted to be burned into Jacob’s bones, every word an edict of destruction written upon existence itself.
Yet, Jacob did not respond at all as he silently observed like a passerby, but secretly, he was trying to observe this phenomenon through the Infinite Space.
Although he had no idea if this would work or not, he had a feeling that it would because the Infinite Space was like one mind and body with him, and Jacob didn’t even bother to summon the Cursed Book for its opinion.
At that moment, faint tearing cracks through the sealed Infinite Space as the Infinite Space responded instantly to his will, every particle, every law, every thread bowed beneath his absolute authority.
"Nice theatrics, but within this realm," Jacob’s voice rumbled, deep and thunderous, "All laws bend to me!"
The Infinite Space ignited in kaleidoscopic radiance as laws shattered and reformed under Jacob’s command; time reversed; energy solidified; will became substance!
The Universal Anathema’s presence wavered!
Its divine silhouette flickered as its countless runes clashed against Jacob’s control of the domain.
The two powers...the Prime Law of the Infinite Space and the Anathema of the Supreme Mother finally collided!
It was like reality fractured into cascading sequences of paradox as runes of annihilation met runes of infinity, judgment met eternity, code met void...every impact sent ripples of primal energy through the infinite space.
The Infinite Space’s space cracked faintly like shattered glass and reformed again instantly, sustained by Jacob’s will.
At that moment, Jacob felt the pressure as that of Anathema’s strength...even here within the Infinite Space, it was most likely a mythical rank at least!
’Were this fight to occur within the Zodiac Plains, it would have annihilated entire space by merely existing...just what kind of being could write such a law?’ Jacob thought grimly as he exerted his full authority, ’If this ’Supreme Mother’ truly commands this Anathema directly, even I might have perished instantly...’
However, here, in this sealed and isolated realm of a Universal Godly Artifact, its master’s call could not reach it, and without its master, it was like a law without a source!
Jacob roared silently, extending his skeletal hand, and the entire Infinite Space condensed around the Anathema.
Kaleidoscopic tendrils of law manipulated by an invisible hand spiraled like serpents, binding the divine silhouette as the runes of the Anathema fought back violently, forming entire constellations of logic. Still, they were devoured, subsumed, and suppressed!
Minute by minute, pulse by pulse, Jacob’s will suppress that Anathema, until finally, there was light!
An explosion of cosmic radiance filled the Infinite Space, and when it dimmed,
where the Universal Anathema had stood...now hovered a sphere.
It was small yet perfect, and most importantly...contained!
Inside that orb, an entire galaxy spun, like violet suns, black stars, rivers of golden law, all swirling in silent rage, trapped within Jacob’s dominion.
The Universal Anathema was sealed!
Jacob lowered his skeletal hand slowly, the sphere hovering above his palm, its surface pulsing faintly like a heartbeat, and every beat emits a profound aura of laws.
His eyes dimmed, turning contemplative, "How could an Anathema turn into a galaxy upon sealing? This is no mere law,"
He murmured, voice low and thoughtful, "Now, this is a weapon, born of divinity itself. Within the Infinite Space, it’ll obey me. However, the moment I took it outside..."
His gaze turned distant, calculating, "Outside, it will be like an active grenade..."
Indeed, the Anathema wasn’t gone but only bound under Jacob’s will because he wanted to study it. However, he wasn’t sure if it was possible, but ended up succeeding nonetheless.
Furthermore, Jacob got more than he was hoping for because the moment this orb was exposed to the Zodiac Plains, it would awaken, and its destruction would be beyond measure. There wouldn’t be an infinite space of the Universal Godly Artifact to contain it!
Unknowingly, Jacob has acquired a divine bomb with a rank way beyond Legendary Plains!
At this moment, Jacob closed his fingers slightly, compressing the orb until the spinning galaxy within slowed to a crawl.
The Infinite Space stabilized again as the faint fractures mended, its silence returning like nothing had happened at all. The Mechanized Sovereign Tower didn’t suffer at all under Jacob’s absolute protection.
Behind him, the Black Mechanic’s voice returned, faintly shaking with static awe, "Sir... did you just... seal that thing?"
Jacob didn’t answer immediately. His gaze lingered on the trapped orb, the faint reflection of violet stars dancing across his bones.
Finally, he whispered, cold and detached, "No... not sealed. Merely paused."
Then, turning toward the now-dormant Red Spirit Mechanic, his flames burned brighter once more.
"Black Mechanic," He commanded, "Record everything, every rune, every frequency, every resonance of that Anathema. We’ve just touched a law belonging to a God. Let it be the priority Number 2 after the Nightmare Plan!"
